On this great day ludvigsen will reunite its former great country, on this day the south will meet the north and we shall purge the foreigners from our lands, I refer no to the southerners but to the foreign nations ileagally occupying the south the same people who brainwashed them.

On this day I call on all nations who pledged us support, to reign bloody mayhem on the foreign aggressors.
On this day the people of Ludvigsen shall see the streets run with blood of foreign invaders. Ludvigsen uber alles.

On this day with our friends we shall win.
On this day I Avi Ludvigsen declare war on all foreign invaders occupying the south of my country.

Turkmeny warns that its planes are still evacuating refugees, and no action will be tolerated against the planes.

As promised, The Unholy Republic will pledge millitary aid to the Empire of Ludvigsen in it's annexation of it's southern province. Nazguul will pledge the following:

The totenkopf of Ludvigsen have no entered the south, Whilst the forces of easy green were snoozing, the shock troops of the empire surround the troops of Easy Green.

The last Turkmen forces pull out of South Ludvigsen with as many refugees as possible, and begin the long flight back towards Turkmeny. An apology is broadcast throughout South Ludvigsen to the fellow Muslim nationalists, and an additional apology is sent to Easy Green.

Emperor Alexei sat in his secluded office, considering the news of Ludvigsen's actions.

"So it begins," he said to himself. "And so Generia will be there to finish it."

Alexei rose, approaching his Lord Chancellor who stood patiently by the door.

"Feador, we shall act upon our earlier commitments. The Imperial army shall move today."

"Your word is law, excellency. The Imperial congress shall support your decision. The senate will be hesitant, but will come through on your side. They do not hastily forget our own war against secessionists."

Alexeevic left the room, to muster the armies, and put the declaration of war before parliament. The vote occured quickly, and in less than two hours, Parliament approved the decision to go to war.

In the streets of Port Belgrade, the soldiers began to assemble, marching through the streets on their way to the docks, and the fleet that would take them to this unfamiliar theater of war. The rebels would shed tears of blood when the Generians arrived in their lands.

Nazguul: 72 hours? Try something more like six months. Your making a deployment on a Desert Shield type scale. In 72 hours you may be able to airlift a couple of Brigades of light infantry\airbourne troops, and maybe a squadron of fighters. Certainly not five divisions of heavy armour.

A cottage industry had spread up in South Ludvigsen. Everyone was helping out the war effort. For some young children, this meant eating whole tubs of ice cream, so that the tubs could be filled with explosives and shrapnel to be used as anti-personel mines. In some areas, HIV sufferers literaly gave blood to the war effort, to be smeared on the shrapnel in the hopes of infecting some of the enemy soldiers. "Let them live with the effects of this invasion for the rest of their lives" was a common refrain.
In other areas, large berms were being dug to defend against tanks. Tractors were taken from the fields and used to help build defences. Fertilisers were also being used to build improvised explosive devices.
In barracks around the nation, troops were heading out to the towns and cities which would be the battleground for the War of Independance. For many, the battleground would be their graveyard.
Other troops were heading out into the deserts to hide weapons caches for use by the resistance forces in the event of enemy occupation.

The Field Marshal walked into the already assembled State Council and Board of Field Marshals and Commanding Officers.

"We have been at peace for far too long. We will not tolerate foriegn interference in a civil war in any event!

Offer North Ludvigsen Military Assistence in the shape of One Light Infantry Brigade within 72 Hours and within three weeks a Armored Division.

Ask if they will need Naval or Air support. We have plenty of that as well.

Our independance was granted to us by the Zionists, but then they changed their mind when it was discovered we had valuable natural resources. Then they began the invasion.
The foreign forces are peacekeepers, whose role was to police the border against transgressions by either side. They then came under attack by the Zionist north.
All we want is to be the masters of our own destiny, free from foreign interference.

Generia supports the diplomatic attempts of Fodmodmadtol, and sincerely hopes Ludvigsen will attend the conference with an open mind. Newsflash!

By a 30-3 vote, the State Council of Elizabethshire, acting under its Supreme Authority to control Foriegn and Military Affairs of Elizabethshire, has voted to Mobilize the 2nd Expeditionary Army (80,000) of Four Corps for Possible serve in the Ludvigsen Civil war. Also mobilized is the 330th Air Transport Command, the 55th Fighter Wing and the 907th Civil Guard Battalion (training) to assist the Northern Forces.

By a 32-1 vote, the State Council also sent a Special Envoy to Fodmodmadtol to persuade them to abandon the South. The Special Envoy has been ordered to inform them that failure to abandon the South and to take Military Action against the North will result in Hostilities with the 4th General Republic.

In its final vote, 33-0, The Council voted to Order the 1st, 7th, 24th, and 32nd Armies and the Civil Guard Barracks (50,000 men) around Elizabeth's town to place the Armies on Defense Alert 2. Discussion was taken and voted down 20-13 to Order the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Armies to Active Duty.

The incorporated States of Katangara wishes to express its disgust at the actions of North Ludvigsen. in addition, we shall support our allies Easy Green in the defence of Southern Ludvigsen.

5 batallions of Hawker's (OOC: Black hawk deployed infantry in special designed long range black hawks, 250 to a batalion, 6 to a chopper.) shall be deployed to help defend targets of our Allies' choosing.

It is a shame that this situation has come to conflict, and we hope that our aide in this situation will end the fighting swiftly and easily.

heh, here comes katangara! jsut a quick note, it'll take my guys quite some time to get there and deploy, a month or two. the troops are combat ready, as are the helicopters, but the distance is large enough that they cant make it there in one hop, so i have to mobilise my negligble navy (Katangara is landlocked, the navy is housed and maintained by Easy Green, just a few destroyers and some carriers for the choppers).
i'll keep up with the happenings, but i wont be deployed for a few RL days, or until about a month has passed ic.

"I would like to make it clear to all our objective, our only objective. Our only objective was to keep peace, and avert an act of mass genocide. We would like to make it clear that we have repeadatly tried to keep peace between these now Seperate Communities. We would also like to make it clear that we have not yet once made one agressive military movement. Everything had been clearly outlined in Press Briefs earlier in the conflict. Prior to the attempted anexation, when Ludvigsen was calling for other nations to arm it to drive out a religous group from life. With that said, I will go on to the situation at hand.

The Conference is still open at the moment, but within a day will be deemed a diplomatic failure. That is what we have been throughout this matter, diplomatic. If other nations will fail to recognise this, fie upon them for ignorance. We wished to end the idocy of actions that was taking place within the Ludvigsen Government with other nations assistance. As of now, however, we are being obstructed. Warmongering nations who fail to see the intentions of the North are acting agressivley against us from a Military view. This is obscene and can not be accepted. We have not made one harsh militaristic movement towards Ludvigsen at all. We have tried to keep the peace, and now our own peace is at fault.

I beseech other Nations to look a bit closley at the stitching. With this said, I come to the following statement. With the apparant depletion of common sense within Ludvugsen and other extremely hostile nations who can not fathom the idea of diplomacy, we ready ourselves for war. The conference will be open for another Twenty Four hours to try and resolve everything and anything, but if this is a failure, we will be forced to act and protect our own peace.
