Brief History: Kryozerkia was founded thousands of years ago. It is unknown who it was founded by exactly, but theory suggests that the native tribes of the former province of Farflorin, the Kerzokin might have been the founders. For a while it was operated as an empire, but then it broke down and became a modern republican dictatorship until a decade ago, when the government was overthrown by democratic rebels, who wanted to end the years of endless and brutal totalitarian regimes. The leader of the rebellion was Zekia, who ousted PM Chikita, who was sent into exile and wound up in Kutou-koku. This led to a war in which the old tinpot dictator was quashed. During this war the province of Farflorin rebelled against the government and became its own nation, and now it is known as The Pseudo-Marxist Anarchy of Farflorin. Relations between the twp nation is tentative at best; same as with The Dragon Republic of Kutou-koku. Recently the three nations entered into a trilateral peace treaty.

The Wast Penisula of Scandonia was first found in the late 14th century by a legion of Knights. They battled Barbarians until the final victory in the early 15th century. They splitted the penisula in 6 nations: Norrland, Svealand, Götaland, Lappland, Ingermanland, Uppland. They became enemies when they all demanded territory. The 50 year war erupted and after that they all went into isolation. They survived until the late 19th century when new conflicts erupted. In 1948 the Swedish Dominions was formed as a Union of Peace. But internal conflicts still plauges the nations. The SD has suffered from coup attempts, civilwars and other stuff. The Monarchy has been dissolved and now a President is the leader of this tormented nation.

Brief History: The nation of Busby was named after a warrior in the early 10th century. At that time the country was under the rule of a warband of pirates and criminals. One man stood up to this rule, Busby. As his support gradually grew the leaders were getting worried. As a response to this the pirates attacked Busby's hidout on the edge of Arrows Head. Being outnumbered he stood his ground defeating the evil armies. After this victory he marched towards what is now 'The City Of Busby' and attacked the heart of this evil. After three years of intense fighting Busby won and took the role as leader, with a few of his closest friends.

In the 14th century the country became an early democracy, with a leader being voted in by a parliamentary group. The country began to grow and grow and reached into other less advanced countries, some soon joined Busby as part of a federation. In the 17th century Busby began the Industrial age, with mass production with the use of steam. In the early 18th century Busby went to war with its neighbouring country The Empire Of Crapes. For four long bloody years, both sides lost millions of casualties. The worst case was the huge assault made by Crapes in an attempt to capture the capital. Over 10 million Crapes troops died in those three months, along with 3 million Busby soldiers and 1 million civilians. Eventually the war ended a stalemate with both sides recongising thier independence. ten years after that they both signed a treaty and to this day they have become close allies.

Busby is now ruled by One President, elected by the people, with a chamber of Presidental Advisers to help him/her run the country.

Breif History: For thousands of years the Okyton empire a union between the three major island in the area. The next emperor of the islands were known as Emperor Fenix. The residence of the Emperor and his family was the golden isle an island approximately the size of iceland just of the coast of the Okyton island. It is known as the golden isle because of the roofs of that palaces that cover the island, which are a golden yellow, and in the case of the central palace, the palace of the sun, actually made of gold. The other main residence of the Emperors was the palace of the baleful moon, at the centre of Okyto city. Okyto city is the only city in the Okyton empire (on land) and covers the majority of Okyto island, almost all of the population live there. Semi-Autonomous area of the Okyton empire are the three city-ships which act as floating cities, and the Cython space platforms (three of them) which are the same, but in space. For some time the empire was managed by the AI mind Crassuss, who took his legislation orders from the democratically ruled houses of parliment, however after the deth of the last Emperror and the disspearance of his son, Crassuss declared himself ruler of the Empire.

But the Fuhrer and RSHA found it utterly impossible to with hold the rapidly growing population of the new Nazi Regime. Thus, they annexed many Earth nations after they became space bound and broadened their reign far into the galaxies.
After accomplishing this drastic enlargement, the name was changed to the Fascist Confederacy. F.C. is the founding country of the Fascist Imperium. This large empire mostly consists of F.C. colonies.

It once was a new Dictatorship ran newly out-of-revolutionary war nation, when Democracy of Radical porportions rose over the dead dictator. After the Capitalists took front stage, the Socalist parties soon joinned in, and the Multi-Racial nation soon became Communist. For nearly two hundred years, it was communist until that cold day when Capitalists killed the Communist President, and held power over the resestance for nearly two years.
After the brutal war which deselated Truitt of its military presence, everyone was amazed that a new government, Commarchy, rose. One of a kind, just like tis new government, Truitt is known as "The Less-Agressive America of the World.". Having most of its area however Military Bases, the Highway to Hell Project however gave the ultimate protection. As a result, Portshire, a major Navy Base, has just resently changed to a tourist resort, the eighth best beach in the world is also located here.

The Dominion of the Nogitsu is a rather small, vaguely rectangular territory set deep in a heavily forested area. The inhabitants respect nature and do not subject the land to unecessary logging business, and enjoy great freedom. The "government" is little more than a collection of people who have been pushed from their homes to "do stuff", and so they do, eating dinner together and having a Gentlemen's Club. Needless to say, the Dominion barely has a foreign policy.

The president himself is rarely seen, spending most of his time frollicking in the forest. The standing army consists of four rather tough-looking men, atleast officially, but they are rumored to consider purchasing a gun.

Bit of History: Founded in ancient times, the Empire of Layarteb was once a colony of the Dominion of Tnemrot. The pagan worshipping Dominion bestowed upon the EOL its right-wing values and beliefs. The EOL, until the 20th century was ruled by various tribes and lords. Finally, in a grandious war of independence, the Empire of Layarteb broke free from Tnemrot. Shortly thereafter, the land of South Eastern Virginia was annexed and added as a Layartebian Commonwealth. A war with Dnalkrad led to the same fate.

Nation: The We R Better Than U of The God Falltothzu
Leader: The God Falltothzu

The large island of which this nation lay was discovered by an drunken pirate, whom was greeted at the island by the natives, believing that he was a god. He did nothing to dispell this idea and eventually was enveloped by it. When asked for a name, he mumbled out, Falltothzu, and so that was what he was called. He forged the island into an economic paradise, and ruled it with an iron fist, instilling that he is the a god into everyone, to ensure undying loyalty. It is unclear wheter this is a genious political move, or just a false reality created and fully believed by the drunkard. Nevertheless, he steadfastly believes in a strong millitary lead by air power, and spend the blunt of the military budget, on the Air Force. This Ego-tistical maniac also instills the idea of superiority to foreighnors and a ruthless, slaughter house mentallity.

The Kingdom of Mauiwowee

After centuries of civil war between the islands of the Mauiwowee chain in the South Pacific, they were united under the rule of King 'Lude II. The primary religion is the worship of the great god Gan_a (OCC: why is the word G - a - n - j - a wiped out when I save the post? Is this some sort of word here?). The people are a peace loving people who believe strongly that their life is theirs to live as they see fit. The king is working hard to build the country under the prinicipals of capatilism and the state run bio-tech industry and its research into nano technology is growing by leaps and bounds. The navy is a powerhouse for a country of this size and 2 years of military duty is mandatory upon graduation from high school or turning 18, whichever comes second. The people realize with the freedoms they have come great responsibilities to defend it and to exercise it in a reasonable fashion.

History:

The peninsula of Spiffydom was colonized by the Fureans in the late 3rd century. Due to internal conflict and differences, each clan declared war on each other and thus, the destruction of the once peaceful colonies. Six tribes emerged from the ashes, the Mondayre tribe, Holina tribe, Muskila tribe, Liion tribe, Orthor tribe and the Hyperla tribe.

Holina and Hyperla had been mortal enemies ever since and dragged Muskila and Mondayre into the war as allies of the former tribes, respectively. All four were weary after a few decades of fighting, and Liion took the oppurtunity, with great foreign relations policies coupled with threats, managed to annex all four tribes, and merged with Orthor in the early 9th century.

The Empire of Spiffydom was born, ruled by a somewhat democratic form of government, with an agreement to change the name so that no-one faction is favoured. The gov't adopted the socialist regime in the early 19th century, and all religious insitution deemed as uneccesary. The country has been leading in progressive social issues ever since. It joined the UN in the 21st century and has been actively participating in all its activities.

The Melforlian State of Neo Portugal

A brief History: During the Melforlian Civil War, Neo Portugal broke off into a seperate nation. There was some blood shed, but not a lot. In recognition of Melforlo's role in the history of Neo Portugal, the country has continued to call itself a Melforlian State, even though it is a seperate entity entirely. The two are allied to a certain degree, and are strong trade partners.

Neo Portugal is known as a strong producer of weapons, and a nation with aspirations of expansion. It is crowded in such a small area. Tourism is discouraged, although some come to see the incredibly vast cities and enjoy the shopping.

Communist Mississippi: After the breakup of the USA in the early 1970s, the nation was dominated by a coalition of jews and marxist whites (The New World Order) who used blacks as their foot soldiers to terrorize the white majority population (92% of the nation was white) In 1984 an eleven month civil-war led by approximately 72,000 elite right-wing white paratroopers shattered the government army of approximately 684,000 ill-experienced and poorly motivated blacks and marxist whites.

Brief History: Sigma Octavus was a small, unrecognized nation for thousands of years. The ancient Sigmalan civilization founded the nation, and it went unnoticed for a very long time. At one point, the current government was overthrown by militant extremists. They quickly declared war on a great number of nations, and the retaliatory strike came to be known as Operation: Righteous Smackdown. After Op:RS, the nation was in ruin. A new leader was installed, the man who took out the militant leader and ended the war, Hermnelo "Herm" Chaknov. He led the devastated nation in the correct path to economic and scientific power. Herm was eventually assassinated by the last remaining terrorist group in the nation. His son, Erik, took over as leader of the nation. His sister, Ellison, eventually discovered that Erik had ordered the hit that killed their father. It took here more than a year to enact her revenge (see the thread I wrote that had absolutely no interest from anyone but my friend so I didn't finish it.). Once Erik was dead by her hand, she took the position of leader.

Bit of History: Founded in in late 2003, after a bitter civil war with the country of Tehran with many soldiers and civilians killed. After many failed talks with the Aioli our people choice to instead of create a new country just take over the current. Our cause was welcomed by the world community and was supported by the UN for our uprising after taking over of the dictatorship we were welcomed thru out the country over and a new democratic system was put in place the first election was held in December and we are here to day stronger than ever.

Name: The Grand Duchy Of Salmon Rushdie

Socialism. Altruism. Complete and utter lack of respect for the French. These are the three pillars on which the Grand Duchy of Salmon Rushdie was established.

Founded in 2004, ‘Rushdie’, as it is known to native Rushdians, was discovered by its current leader, The Rt. Hon G.P. (Grand Poobah) Jason Karp. But for a country whose path through nation-hood is held up as a result of manifest destiny and unalienable, divine course, Rushdie’s beginnings are ironically the product of a certain degree of chance.

The story of Rushdie’s humble roots begin in Toronto, Canada, the birthplace of the Grand Duchy’s eventual founder. It is from this place, in June 2004, where Jason Karp, facing extensive late-charges at a local Blockbuster video*, supposedly fled. Two months later, after seeing his pleas for exile rejected by numerous Blockbuster-friendly governments, the young ex-Canadian found refuge in the small region of Tits Up Titus Tifosi.

* Blockbuster records show that from April 1997 to January 2004, Karp rented “Fidel” and “Showgirls” a combined 178 times; overdue rentals that to this day have not been paid.

As explained in the New York Times bestseller, “A Great and Inane Farce: The History of Rushdie”, Karp was immediately granted power over a small and uninhibited block of land on the East coast of Tits Up Titus Tifosi, handed to him by political allies in the region; allies who, like Karp, despised the French. On August 10, 2004, the move was made official.

The Grand Duchy of Salmon Rushdie was born.

Immediately, Karp went to work building his socialist utopia. Using an assortment of political ideologies cherry picked from various respected thinkers, Karp quickly established Rushdie as 2nd rate welfare state. Speaking at the first annual State Of The Duchy address, the Grand Poobah claimed with unabashed confidence that Rushdie reflected “the best in humanity, void of the intolerance and selfish motivation seen in other, more capitalistic nations. “

Not everyone agreed.

Highlighting its less than flattering view of the French, political analysts claimed that the Grand Duchy of Salmond Rushdie was less a “socialist utopia” than it was a refuge for the bigoted and intolerant. His Grand Poobahness scoffs at this notion. “Nonsense! Complete and utter nonsense,” said Karp, lines of Showgirls dialogue echoing in the background. “I can assure you, here in the Grand Duchy, we respect and appreciate people of all cultures and ethnicities. Just not the French.”

The United Socialist States of Drabikstan

Leader: President Xer Kibard

Brief History: Drabikstan, located in the Caucasus region, gained independence when the USSR collapsed. However, the country retained its socialist government and economic system with Communist Party leader Xer Kibard becoming the first President of the newly-independent republic. The federalized republic, consisting of several main regions, suffered from separatist movements shortly after independence.

When Kibard declared himself president for life, separatists in the Dnever region stepped up their campaign to secede from Drabikstan. The central government sent troops into Dnever to defeat the separatists which led to an extended guerilla conflict between separatist rebels and government forces. With a rising death toll, Kibard withdrew government troops from Dnever. However, the government refused to grant the region independence. After separatists launched a terrorist bombing campaign against the central government, Kibard responded by launching an air and missile bombardment against Dnever settlements, resulting in many civilian causalties. This led to Karzikistan sending troops into Dnever to aid the separatist movement. In response, Drabikstan along with several allies, imposed a blockade against the Dnever region and created a buffer zone to prevent Dnever rebels from crossing into the rest of Drabikstan.

Full-scale war between Karzikistan and Drabikstan was narrowly prevented when foreign powers pressured Karzikistan to withdraw its troops from Dnever. After a separatist regime change in Dnever, the government of Drabikstan decided to grant Dnever independence. Meanwhile, the Naxivan region had also increased its demands for independence following the Dnever crisis. Drabikstan, with its military forces stretched thinly against Dnever, had no choice but to allow Naxivan to also secede from the USSD. In return for Naxivan's independence, Drabikstan demanded Naxivan join the newly-created Union of Independent States (UIS). The UIS alliance allowed Drabikstan to retain some influence over its former province.

Since the resolution of the separatist conflicts, Drabikstan's economy has been slowly improving. Drabikstan has established close ties with other communist nations, mainly Lasatania, which has several military bases in Drabikstan. The country is mainly Christian and is strategically important due to oil pipelines.

A Little Bit of History: Morathania was colonized by the British in the mid 1700s. Its population began to increase dramatically after the American Revolution as new colonists from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland join the few settlers already here. In the 1850s immigration picked up again and as German, Italian and Eastern European immigrants came to Morathania to find a good land for them and their families. In 1871 Morathania was given independence from Britain become the first colony to achieve full independence from Britain peacefully. Morathania has a system of government that mixes American-style democracy with the Parliamentary form of democracy. Their is a directly elected President of the Federation, who is elected using the American electoral system, and a President of the Senate elected by the members of both Houses of Parliament. Morathania fought alongside the allies in WWI and WWII and was a major American ally during the Cold War from which warm relation between the two nations developed. Today Morathania is a thriving country whos founding pricipals of Freedom, Democracy and Liberty are still around today.
Politics: Their are 5 major political parties in the Federation of Morathania. They are:

The Conservative Party of Morathnia (CP)- An Economically Libertarian Social Conservative conservative right-wing party concerned with Defense, Law & Order, and Social and Economic Conservativism.

Morathanian Libertarian Party (MLP)- A Libertarian Party. Believes in a free-market, more political and social freedoms, and a vast reduction of the government. Whats to legalize Gay Marriage, Abortion, and Marijuana to name a few platform issues.

Christian Democratic Party (CDP)- A Centrist slightly right-leaning party that tries to stay inbetween the Libertarians, Conservatives and Leftists. Usually calls for more moderation in government and implementation of more toned down versions of Conservative Party and Libertarian Party Bills.

New Left Allaince (NLA)- Formed when the Liberal Democratic Party and the People's Union Party joined. They promote more social welfare, more enviromental protection, protectionist trade policies, raise taxes and a more controlled economy. Want to turn Morathania into a welfare state.

New Democratic Party (NDP)- A far-left socialist party. Wants even stronger reforms than the NLA and wants to do away with privately own corporations and wants to raise taxes on the rich to close to 90%. Also wants to do away with privately own cars, TVs and Radios.
