Tranquility City, Keimonia

The uprising of Liberalist forces in Tranquility City, the capital of Keimonia, ended in violence after the Liberalists opened fire towards the LE forces.

Around 11 A.M., 70-80 represitives of the violent liberalist wing Total Freedom, gathered to the Central plaza, just in front of the presidential palace. Liberalists started to shout liberlist slogan and waving paintball guns and baseball bats. The mob was quickly surrounded by the 20 men of the 6th SULEF (Special Urban Law Enforcements Force) squadron, whereupon 15-20 protesters drew real firearms or Long Range Incapation Weapons, and opened fire towards the 6th squadron.

The firefight quickly ended after the 6th SULEF squad no longer received return fire from the mob. 6 liberalist extremist were killed, 10 wounded, and atleast 40 were arrested. The SULEF lost one man, and another man was wounded in the 1-minute firefight.

This incident clearly proves that the radical opposition in Keimonia is more widespread and organized than was previously thought. It is uncertain if the ten SULEF units can handle situation, the Presidential Speechman even declared that the resistance could even be handled with the National Defence Army.

Reports of other, less violent incidents were reported in Unity City, Alaris, and Freedom City. One civilian was wounded in after the 2nd SULEF had to use force against liberal protesters in Alaris.

Central LE is still looking to track down and prosecute resistance leaders.
"We clean out this scum", The Speechman declared.
Either way, Total Freedom declared it will continue using violence until it has total control over Keimonian goverment, which is virtually one man, the President Keimo Zen.

If the SULEF would be overthrown, which is highly unlikely, the whole of Keimonia would had to be put under martial law. The SULEF only has 100 men, and the NDA has less than thousand men.

Thank you, but one of the arrested Total Freedom members just talked in the...interrigation. The Central LE has now a clear lead of the resistance leader, and the 6th SULEF squadron has already been dispatched. Arrest will likely to be made in following days.

3 men of the top ranks of Total Freedom were arrested in Tranquility last night. I have now demanded the whole wing to surrender their arms.
They appear suprisingly willing without their leader. 100 resistance people have given up their weapons, and atleast 150 more will be coming. If this is about 90%, or 10% of the total resistance manforce, remains to be seen.

Also, most troubling part: One the captured leaders declared "total destruction of the rotten goverment and the Presiden himself". Several seized weapons included hand grenades, plastic explosives, Disposeable Anti-Armor armament, and even dynamites with traces of cesium. However, not one bit of cesium was given to the police.

Put together explosives, and a radioactive material such as cesium, and what do you have? A dirty bomb.

The SULEF has been placed in full alert, and NDA is preparing for emergency dispatch within a 30-minute warning time. The City of Tranquility has been placed under martial law, and control has been tightened in other major population centers of Alaris, Unity City, Freedom City, and the Gemma plateu megapolis.

Not only the possiblity of a dirty bomb, but a water-tripped explosive - cesium reacts explosively in water, enough so to detonate the dynamite so a bomb could be made without an electronic trigger - undetectable.
