We have declared on this day the land of lesotho ours, and the south being the south of lesotho closest to Durban.
Sorry for my asking, but what is Lesotho?
It's like a small kingdom that is completely surrounded by South Africa.

Sorry for my asking, but what is Lesotho?
A tiny tiny tiny nation in Africa.
Ah, I was thrown by the non-caps. Alright thanks.
Might I ask why you claim this small nation in Southern Africa?

It is actually a 'kingdom', but hey.
They succeded from South Africa for some reason, and they are in poor defense if South Africa was to declare war on them for some reason (especially since they are surronded by the country)
OOC: Now, is Lesotho a real country created on NS, or your 'fictional' country to make your borders bigger?
IC: Why do you claim this land, and how??

You know, there's a term for a country that is within another country. It escapes me at the moment. I'm posting as my puppet, WS, and will probably delete this message/repost as it when I get the chance to. Did I mention logout on Jolt is a pain?
West Scotland forces will defend the land of Lesotho, and by Cherub your forces shall not take it over. The exceedingly pretty flag of Lesotho, deemed one of the coolest in the world, will not burn at the hands of your soldiers.
[edit]Alright, we'll leave you alone :P As long as the flag and the nation stays.

We mean merely to reinforce its boundaries rather than overthrow the king, he is a black leader who treats his people well, the king however is under threat as is his kingdom from saffas

OOC: Enclosed? Landlocked? Enclave? Lesotho was never part of South Africa, but was a separate protectorate of the British. It gained independence in 1966. There was a brief period of time in 1998 when South African troops intervened to restore order.
IC: The Commonwealth fully supports its ally, The Zoogie People, in any actions they may take to restore the rightful independence of that nation.

Lesotho is technically an independent kingdom, but only South Africa recognizes it as independent. The UN refuses to recognize its independence.

Sorry, I got Lesotho confused with one of the four other independent nations (Bosphuthatswana, Ciskei, Transkei, and Venda) that aren't recognized by the UN. My mistake.

OOC: Ahh, right, right.
Uhm, well, I'm done for this thread. I don't think anyone wants ten million Lusakan soldiers storming in from the north to liberate Lesotho, eh... continue! Or don't, whatever, I don't care.
