In shocking election results, current President James Madison has been elected out of office today, making way for the winning candidate, Edward Grove.
This is a shock for the Republicans, who since the independance and foundation of the Austar Union, have retained office for all the six nation's historical Presidents. Edward Grove is the head of the Conservative-Capitalist Party, and pledges to change the way the government holds its foriegn policy. He says, that as the seventh President of the Austar Union, he will take a much more considerate approach to the world community, seeking the benefits of the global world over the wants of the Austar Union.
He is expected to work on domestic issues at home first, before committing himself to world ventures, priding himself as a family man. Speculators comment that he is expected to raise Austarian Public Relations, whilst he seeks to strengthen diplomatic relations with other neighbours of the global world.
