The Organic Thunder Project

The Velociraptor has been one fo the world's best hunter, until itsself, and everything else in the Jurrasic period died out, possably becouse of a meteor.

The latest showing of the American Film Jurrasic Park has gotten the nation's scientists a good impression on possable dinosaurs for defence uses.

Truitt's Research, Code Named The Organic Thunder Project, this Project is to create a Velociraptor, or in Commin: Vallasa Raptor, to be the ultimate Anti-Infantry Weapon cheaply after the project is near-completion, and also, have them "programmed" to follow human orders by their trainners.

This is complecated, and mroe information will be RPed here.

[Note: This is Top Secret, and is held on Zi Island, a small 2 km x 1.2 km island which the first TF-55A Merlin Hawk was tested on, which, no major buildigns have formmed since the whole island is mainly underground since then]

ooc: How would an unarmed dinosaur be the ultimate infantry unit? Unless its hide can shrug off fire from AK-47 I don't see what good it would be, sure it could take a few people out but as soon as they get a good shot at the thing it would be all over

OOC:
The hide should be able to take a few hits from a 12mm. Also, it would be guided by a trainner, that is what "rpogrammed" means.
Also, my nation, where it would be posted at, is forest, my whole eastern, and msot of my northern, all fortest, which is almsot unpopulated, great areas for enemies. The Vallasas are for pure defence. Also, the idea, is to create something small and fast, with deadly teeth, like a shark's. It would also of cource nto be good agenst tanks, but you know, small enoguh, no tank can hurt them (except those 15mm+ guns..)

It is just a little project I have made to set the way for a human genetic research I am planning, although I will still go through with this, if nto for battle, for parks and innovation.

OOC: I posted this in another thread anyway, it would be good to create a dinosaur with strong exoskeleton of non elastic material. As even if the hide can deflect, the round's kinetic shock might damage internal organs.

Well, I am still working on everything, like creatign also a bone-like skeleton body that has great protection and strength, so its organs would not eb damaged as much.

Also, everyone knows abotu the Horseshoe Crab, its blue copper[based blood, easy to heal and stuff, I was thinking of incorporating that.

OOC: The crabs and insects generally have a quite tough exoskeletons. Similar but tougher exoskeleton could probably be possible to created through genetic engineering.

That was my origanal idea, but I am still reasearching into this.

Everythign will be Truitti (Mainly from Angelo and Associates Company). Sorry, this is mainly for my own Innovations and Technology. However, you are put on the "Referance List", which will come up once I get this together tommarow.

Is it RPG-7 proof? because if it isn't, you wont be using any of those to invade afghanistan that's for sure.

Moulder could train these beasts, even alter them to whatever whim you want. I could turn them into bio-mech monstrosities, I could give them the gift of flight, if you want......

I can see why you would want to use them as infantry weapons, their claw could shred the hide of even the largest dinosaurs with ease so humans stand no chance. It also is extreamly fast, i belive that it could reach about 60mph but if you give it a crab like exoskeleto it would be able to move that well and an think shell isnt going to do shit to a bullet travelling at 900mps

Special fit it with Kevlar. Won't do anything against a P-90, but that's ok.

OOC: I've developed a round for conventional guns that defeats armor almost as well as a DU round, then explodes with the force of 1/7th a grenade. They better know how to dodge gunfire really well, or things will get messy. These rounds would make an assault rifle deadly to T-Rex sized organisms.....

The chip:
I will make a desision once the first part of the project is made (I will create a normal raptor, like a real one, just to make sure we can do it). Also, the Vallasa would have a lightweight Kelvar armor around his already tough hide. Plus, the Vallasa will eb made for the protection fo those areas which tanks would have troubles, like my forests and jungles (there is a difference Zoogie).

As for the powers, it would have instinct. Of which, like say if an item is pointed at them, move away from its point (say a barrel with a round in it?). Also, it will be trainned and controlled by both a chip and thier trainners, called "Callers", which would have guns of their own. The only point of this was we could have the power of five men with THSR Rifles, in one man and a Vallasa, and twice thier speed, if not, tripled.

The exact RP will began later since I just found out that I can't draw, so I will get a friend to (I am in an art class, so I think I can find someone I know).

If anyone is interested (I have already TMed those that I trust, which thsi applies to) than say so, and we can make arrangments.

Thank You

And ohh yeh, that was all OOC.

The some twenty two scientists, in white lab coats, are working franticaly, while two others at one station with a bulky looking pipe protruding from the table.
One of the scientists out of no where exclaims "We have it! Just enough to make one!". Everyone turns to him, and then they get back to work, twice as fast.
As chaos errupts, the other scientist at the table takes out the pipe, and then opens an air-tight door on the side of the table. He takes out a jet-black box, no bigger than his fist, and opens it.
The box has a golden rock in it, glittering ever so galantly.
"It is marvelous," he starts to say as the needle form the other scientist goes through the drilled hole into the small insect inside the fossilized sap. The Masquitoo obviously was stopped in its tracks, and its last meal: Velociraptor Thigh.

The men quickly took the bullet-proof glass made needle out, and ran carefully to the other room, where a whole team was standing.
"We have the DNA. Now, lets get it in the Passage Status," one of the scientists, obivously the head man, said taking the needle which was filled with a blueish tint liquid.
He admediatly after taking fair control of the needle, walked to the large circular pad, where there was a purplse-tinted clear liquid. He then pushed the injection thumb, and the liquid from the needle flew into the other liquid, which turnend form a purplish color, to a redish. The Oxynite Formula was taking the DNA, and doublign the amounts, making millions to billions, even trillions of strands per secound. Soon, the red color spread from the center to the rims, where it then started to turn blood red, a big different over a pinkish red.
"Alright everyone, get ready," the lead scientist said once the whole pad turnned maroon.
"Now!" he yelled. Everyoen admediatly took out needles, and started to take in the liquid, as much as the little needles could take in.
After all sixteen scientists in the room took all thier samples, the tab was still full of the blood like liquid.
"Now, lets make the basis, everyone, lets get to work." he said a final time as the tab started to be covered by a large white metalic coverign, and when it closed, it had a bad and evilish Hissing sound.

A few hours passed, and everyone's needles were empty. Most tested the now cloned, or duplicated DNA strands they had taken, while seven took them, and put them in the Genetic Creator Mechanism, or a large platform.

[Two days later]
The lead scientist looked up at the crowd. By him was a box fileld with egg like thigns, about the size of a grown man's forearm.
"Ladies and Gentlement. What we are about to show you is a rare, and a new event in the world. We have sucessfully created seven eggs of Velociraptors. A Jurrasic barring Dinosaur, that is known for its speed, reproduction, power, and instinct that is willing to learn. It is also known as one of the world's best and most efficant killing machines.
This however does not prove they will live. The first five eggs have already showed major complecations on takign neutriants the mother would give off, which we could not do. Two others however, we have already found to be a male and female, and is found promissing to live through the incubation period, which is roughly half a month. Named Adam and Eve, these two Raptors will set the way for a new world of science."

he stepped down, bowing to a few Asian Representatives and Publishers, and left, with the box in his hands, also surrounded by many other of his scientist friends.

OOC:

The only issue I can see with this is the cost of maintaining such dinosaurs.

Assume you do get past the technological issues, do you realize how much it costs to feed one single Veloceraptor?

It could cost upwards of $1000 per Veloceraptor per day.

So $365,000 a year per dinosaur.

The five soldiers you are replacing with one Raptor would cost far less.

You DO realize that these things are going to be vulnerable incarnate, right? A 4.7mm caseless AP round (or a customized CF APAP round) will cut through this thing's hide and kevlar armor like butter. As will a 7.62mm AK round, or a burst of 5.56mm M4 rounds.

The only reason the velociraptors were so deadly in the books and movies is that they:
1. Lacked ranged weapons
2. Were fighting against poorly disciplined and virtually unarmed park consultants/researchers/etc...

Look at Muldoon in the original JP book. He had access to some sort of grenade or rocket launcher, and he managed to single handedly kill off four raptors, being injured only moderately. A platoon of soldiers would dominate these creatures in most enviroments, with the exception of Jungle terrain. (I know that's one of the places you plan to deploy them to, but I'm just pointing it out.)

OOC:
Well,
The Salieri Family is funding it, and it also has the full support of the government of Truitt.

Also, the International Commerce Budjet (or buying International wepaonry) has also been redirected to this, along with some Military budjets.

Mainly becouse Truitt already has a good enough stance, and stopped the StoneHenge and Thudner Island Projects, a big sum has been left for the one goal:
Expand Health Care to Immunization and Better-Humans.

Well, also, these are nto to be fully attended for battle, althoguh say 12 raptors agenst 12 men with M16s in a dense forest area, where the raptors know the terrain, and the invaders are mysterious-born, the raptors would win.

Also, they are not attended for war exactly, plus, this was amde for a genetic research project, that has a efw perks.
