Sounds fun. Not much of a military IC but political and economical effects as well as my small army can be RP'd!

Modern technology will be used, (i.e: guns, tanks, modern aircraft). As far as the aspects of nukes and such, it is yet to be decided. Though I do know for sure that I will not permit any god-moding, just to make that clear.

I guess it's settled then. I will start working on a scenario and a map for the RP war. I will TG you all very soon with information and the title of the new thread.(I plan to use a different thread for the actual RPing.) If there is anyone else who wishes to join, you can still post in this thread. I will be checking up on it every day until the RP war is started.

Alright, three things:

Make an island about the size of GB and I'm in for there (I always play island so)

When you say modern, do you say strict modern?

Do you mean NS Modern (nation made items, such as my TF-55D Merlin Hawk)

I have read this post and would love to join in a war, though the reasons must be made clear to me. I've a small and ineffective military, but a war would still be interesting.

Yes, I suppose I could allow certain number of unique technologies per country into the RP war. I will decide on how many a bit later. All rules will be clarified in detail when I TG you all. Right now I am working on a map and a plot for the RP. I am welcome to suggestions for plots, becuz that's not an aspect of creativity that I am good at. Telegram me if you have suggestions.

Somthing to do is always nice but I think I may be too big for my own boots, and this war. Hard to be modern tech when your populace are all Genetic Supersoldiers......

I have put this together for a Short Story I am writing currently, this is a direct quote from my post on my private forums (If your interested in a map, TM me and I'll post/TM it):

The United States of America has become too powerful for its own good.

Through resent events, American Forces have just finished yet an other not-needed war, the Sea War, which took place on an invasion of Japan due to "Genocide", which was really a plague.

Being inraged, the nations of China, Japan, Siam, India, and Southern Former USSR Nations have given America an Ultimatium: "Lay down arms and run from your corrupt ways. Or face liberation.". As a responce, the U.N. has broken into bits, leaving many nations confused or unarmed.

Out of this, an other side, the Eastern Alliance, is with the Corrupt Nations, but not totally on Destroying them, and annexing them into the new Soviet Union. However, surprisingly, France has taken charge of the Eastern Alliance, leaving Russia somewhat neutral, but more heading in the Corrupt Nations.

As of cource America has all of North America on its side, and most of the United Kingdom. The United States will fight in this 2010 war, with little to no support, and then, if sucessful, the world just might lose its "Police Nation", which although it may bring less wars, it will still bring chaos to the war scared world of Earth.....

Information on Nations in 2010:
United American Union
America through corruption has brought Canada and most of the Carrabieans into Annexation when John Kerry won the election of 2004 and became "Supreme President". Since then, Cuba, and Central America nations have all been "Freed" and are under America's control, this super continent sized nation is often called The United American Union.

Cacasass Territory
The CT is a Continent-Sized Territory held by America, and has just resently broken form "The So Pefect Union" through the Sea War. They prove little to no support ecxept close bases to America.

The Corruption Nations
They call themselves the "World Saviors" for attempting to take out the Capitalist Alliance. They are made of soon to be the new USSR, which with the old USSR, the new nations, Korea, China, Japan, and Siam have all signned an annexation agreement. This Ubernation is overall Asia and bits of Africa, and some. With a navy and Ground Forces that overpower the Capitalists, these nations are dreaded.

The Eastern Alliance
These are the remnants of the old United Nations. They want both the Newly-Founded USSR and Capitalists to stop fighting, in force. They prove no major advantages, except in numbers, and in size. Maxing all but a bit of Europe, this massive UN like body is deadly, but still fairly weak.

Neutral Choosen Parties
These nations have yet to deside on a side, or even to join the war, which, the war will come to them sooner or later. More than likely, almsot every Neutral Choosen Party Nation will convert to the new USSR through a massive campain to gain Africa, Australia, and South America while the Eastern and Capitalist Nations fight.

The Genisis Forces
This is a small team of Ex-American Forces that are located in Sicily, Italy. They are the last line of world peace, and no one even knows the exist. Aristacrats and Wealth comes in handy, when Anti-War Richmen give money for weaponry and trainning at the highest payments, and just as the war begans, the self called Ghosts have already made an impact in America's missle defence systems and has made the Easterns think twice about even going through with a forced-stop to the not even started war. Hitting a little bit more than 2,300 people, this fully trainned force is still a threat, whcih all forces come to see as thier missles and major bases somehow "shut down for good".

So, your telling me /Kerry/ leads to America becoming corrupt and evil...

Huh. That suprises the hell out of me. :)

In any case, sounds like a real bang-up cyberpunk story line.

OOC: For some reason, this reminds me of Orwell's 1984, with the three big alliances fighting eachother and the UK has been conquered by America.
