Stahlecker spoke, "Only citizens with the weapons approval card can purchase such weapons. And only natural born citizens are entitled to apply for the cards for WMDs, we also do a few loyalty checks before issuing the cards, but for rifles and pistols and the like, there are basically no laws. An eight year old boy with the money could by an M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon."

"Quite correct; then again, this is merely continuation of all their other policies."

"I, myself, see a hole here. The CM government could simply sell it's entire arsenal to 'private citizens', and then continue to stockpile arms in the same way. Tracy yanked out his custom built TT-33 and levelled it at Mladic's forehead. "Out! Now! Get the hell out of here!" he bellowed, snapping off the safety.

"Why is it so bad if CM sold his weapons of mass destruction to his citizens? It's his nation, we cannot dictate policies to him. And besides, the weapons would only be used in an invasion of CM itself."

*Mannerheim drew his CZ-63 and pointed it at Mladic's head.*

OOC- you can fit 50 guards in the conference room and still have a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere? Also shooting a gun from somebody's hand usually shatters their hand.

Mladic picked up his gun and then said to Stahlecker, "We're leaving come along."

Mladic cursed everybody in serbian and then moved for the door, Stahlecker was still sitting down, Mladic yelled, "ARE YOU COMING OR NOT!!!"

Stahlecker just shrugged his shoulders and then mladic stormed out and into a waiting car.

Tracy slowly placed the TT-33 in its' holster. "Are we going to see the same from you?" he snarled to the other CM delegate.

"This is strike two for the Communist Mississippian delegacy. Another threat against another delegate's life and I will be forced to postpone these talks so everyone can calm down."

Mannerheim shouted at the car, and flipped Mladic the bird.

Stahlecker took a drink from a flask and then spoke, "Yes, but it is a shame Mladic is now going to be throwing his political influence and weight behind the first-strike group."

Stahlecker spoke and said, "There are about 5 or 6 top party officials and a few dozen generals and field marshals that are lobbying for massive surprise first-strike to wipe out all possible enemy nuclear capabilities before they can react. They keep saying the over 150 SSBNs we have would be adequate for this task. The most vocal supporter they have is a one Field Marshal Francisco Salazar. Mladic is now going to join his faction. But the decision of the Premier and the acting-premier is that a first strike is unacceptable, and it is not up to field marshals and generals to question the Premier's orders. So do not worry, but you should know, Mladic will be a powerful enemy against you all from this day forth."

Crane steeples his fingers.

"In that case, it might be fortunate for all of us were he to have an 'accident' that would keep him bed-bound until the conference is over and men of reason can prevail. Once a treaty is signed, I doubt that even he would violate it. And even if he did, well, I have no doubts that the Axis Nova SDI network is well up to the task of defending my country..."

Crane looks worried suddenly, as if he has suddenly realized something.

"Tell me... what would you do if a private individual or group inside your country were to launch a nuclear attack on another nation? They would have no way of knowing that it was not a CM government strike."

"Even if they DID hit, the silo's are built so a missile would have to land on TOP of the silo door to destroy it. And I still have my massive array of space weapons."

He motioned for an Imperial Guard. "Tell the SS forces not to allow Mladic to take off. He is to stay in-country until the talks are over. No contact with the CM government is to be made until the talks are over. Tell him it is for reasons of National Security."

"Yessir." He took out his radio and gave the orders to the SS soldiers. "Done, sir." He saluted and went back to his post.

We have approximately 1000 bombs of a 50 megaton yield, 200 bombs of a 100 megaton yield. And we have 50 bombs of a 500 megaton yield, we call them 'country killers' They are mostly all old US bombs from the 60s era cold-war with the USSR when the bombs had to be large because accuracy was lacking."

The bomb had yes a capacity for a 100mt detonation. But an 800mt detonation is not sustainable using current technology.

Ooc- They're genetically altered to be more attractive and more intelligent in regards to language ability and mastery of speech capabilities. Also the ability to readily build more muscle more easily is enhanced. AMF has his "Freek" soldiers and people accept them, so my minor genetic tinkerings are okay by my book.

Yeah, and I've never played a war with AMF, because aside from the fact it would be suicide, it's still not in the period I'm in; no matter how major or minor the alteration, GMing is not on my tech, and therefore I don't recognise it if used in an RP in which I am involved and it affacts me.

OOC: I don't think you understand, I claim 12 miles territorial waters and the straight of Hormuz since I control both the Arabian and Persian sides, you can pass through those however. 200 Miles out (when possible) is considered to be my exclusive economic zone, but not actually territorial posessions. Reck made a quick glance toward the DPUO delegate, then the CM delegate.

"Settle this."

"Uhn? Listen, I don't trust him, or any of them to keep his or their word or words. I know you can be trusted. But I cannot go back in there." His voice shook with anger audible even down thew phone. "My wife is of Chinese extraction. I will not sit there and let those bastards insult her and my entire nation and its' culture, and use this as an opportunity to spread their usual propaganda. The General leaned over and whispered quietly to the Czar, "I hope you do not mind if I kill that man before we leave here..."

He then leaned back over and said, "I will leave this conference if the delegate from Communist Mississippi does not refrain from his constant racial slurs."

"If you can avoid placing propaganda into every third sentence or so, then that might be an idea. Right now I don't know about the safety of either of our positions."

The Czar looked at an Imperial Guard. "Get me Field Marschal Hindenburg, Imperial Admiral Marko Herkjyavich and Aeromarschal Aerostalvich here pronto!"

"Yessir!" THe Imperial Guardsmen ran out, and came back with the two Marschals.

"Delegates," the Czar said. "Meet FieldMarschal Frederick von Hindenburg, commanderinchief of the Dersconi Army, Imperial Admiral Marko Herkjyavich, CinC of the Dersconi Navy, and Aeromarschal Ramius Aerostalvich, commanderinchief of the Dersconi Luftewaffe and STACOM."

"Hindenburg, mobilize First Corps immediately, and ready the ground-based missile shields."

"Yessir."

"Ramius? Ready ALL nuclear assets and the missile shields."

"Yessir."

"Marko, activate the Sea of Time defense system, activate the Atlantis bases, and ready the nautically-based antiaircraft and antimissile systems."

"Yessir."

The Czar then looked at Stahlecker. "I have no want to use them, and you have my word I will not unless attacked. Keep all CM military forces away from Derscon, and I will stand them down. This has just turned hot, and I refuse to be caught with my pants down." The High Command members ran out to give the orders.

"You," the Czar said, pointing to an Imperial Guard. "Detain the DPUO Admiral and bring him back here. Bring back Mladic, too." He then turned to the rest of the delegation. "I apologize, but none of you will be leaving the Kremlin until this situation is resolved. THere are many rooms in the Kremlin, and you will each be assigned to one."

Fabus sighed and said, "I'll be at the Kremlin in 3 hours". He then got into a high speed military cargo craft and was flown towards Derscon and the Kremlin, F-16Ds flying alongside for protection.


When he landed, Captain Arthur Nelson (He made a much more speedy recovery than the Premier) wheeled his wheelchair out and the Premier was sitting in it and said, "Ah, Derson, well here we are."

"This situation has gone far enough. We will not take economic blockade by Voderlund but we will not use force. If need be we will pass outside their 12 mile territorial waters. The Shah turned to the Czar, "If i am to be your guest you should treat me royalty, I am the Shah you know."

"Mikhail, you're in charge until I get back. I'm going to Derscon. Get Mick out of there. I should have known to avoid sending him like the plague." Marcus hurriedly slung on his overcoat and headed for the tram door. "If I don't get in contact within 24 hours, start things moving."

80 minutes later, a lone MiG-31M2 wearing diplomatic corps stripes was approaching landing in Derscon.

Hattian Nuclear Command

"Commander, we have reports of Derscon mobilizing. The Ministry has ordered us to activate." Commander Wadislaw sighed. "Go to Defcon II! We aren't going to give them a chance to hit us..."

All over Hattia, the militias armed and manned their positions while Hattian nuclear missile satellites reoriented themselves and missile silos readied themselves. Meanwhile, the Hattian 5th army organized and Hattian battlefleets gathered around the gulf of Hattia...

About 30 minutes after the Premier's plane landed, a motorcade drove up to the Kremlin, they called to the guards, "Curtis Fabus is here, let us in please".

It was not too long afterward that a swiftly-hired car, making 80 miles per hours up the (fortunately largely empty) road swept toward the steps, slammed on its' brakes, and came to a tyre-melting halt just short of a lamp-post.

"M. Jones, PM, DPUO, met me in for heaven's sake unless you want a nuclear war to start!" he exclaimed angrily,

Premier Curtis Fabus was wheeled into the kremlin in a wheelchair, he was a poor sight to behold, he was still quite injured.


They wheeled him into the conference room and he started to talk.


"Now what is it you all exactly want me to do here?"

Crown Prince Piruz looked at the situation with more and more anxiety. War was inevitable... but now that peace was acheived in Ottoman Khaif the Shah's forces had a free hand...

Prime Minister Andropov, along with Minister of Diplomacy Irina Zashsalnamov ran into the Kremlin. Andropov, looking angry, quite drunk and still in formal wear from an event in Aerion, bellowed. "What is this I hear about a damn nuclear war getting ready to happen?"

Marcus sprinted in, to the astonishment of all, shedding his coat en route, and headed straight for Fabus, ignoring guards and general anger.

"Alright, listen, listen good. We have a nuclear war about to erupt. Inside of the next 12 hours, I would say. Do you want that? No. Do I? No. Does anyone? No." he took a deep breath and went on: "We can't trust those we sent to do the job, through error of choice, stupidity, whatever. So, here's my proposal. Cut all your CW and BW agent stocks by 50%. Destroy them totally. We'll help you do it. Give the blacks in your colonies the rights you promised them. In exchange, I rein in military spending, and recognise your right to govern those colonies and your ownership of them. Net result: we get peace. OK?" he stood, sweat on his forehead, panting from the exertions of getting here, while two nations waited on a knife edge, and listened for a reply.

Reck had a grim look on his face. He sent a new message to home command. He spoke clearly into the microphone.

"Our envoy is safe, do not attack Derscon. I will remain here, at the request of this nations leader. Enact Operation Kethis"

Reck then turned to the delegates.

"Gentlemen, it seems our host requires us to stay a while longer. Shall we retire to our rooms?"

"Gentlemen. Ladies. We have an accord." And having said that, he went to the bar and poured a double scotch.

Hindenburg returned the salute from the Hattian General. "Your army was a tough match in Hutu. I was a Mere lieutenant in the Rangers, then. I am honored to meet you." He then ran off.

The Czar stood up, and motioned for everyone to be quiet. When this was achieved, he spoke.

"As you know, we are all on the brink of nuclear war. This situation has heated to the boiling point, and it looks like the shit is about to hit the fan. All of you, please, sit down, so we can talk. We must remain calm, desisive, and clearminded. Right now, a wrong move could mean the end of all of us, our beloved nations, and our ideals that we hold dearly. I know that all of us hold the value of human life very high, even if it is only one race, but it is still there. Please, everyone, sit down, and clear your mind. We need to stay calm, think clearly, and act rationally."

THe Czar looked at him. "An accord? Details, pleasE?"

OOC: I thought it kind of got agreed in front of everyone, in the middle of the conference room.

IC: "An accord. CM will destroy 50% of all its' CW and BW agent stocks and give the blacks all promised rights in the colonies. We will recognise the right of CM to own and Govern these lands and cut back military spending. Net result: we get something called...peace, I think." He poured another scotch. "Not a bad two minutes' work, really." His hands shook as he drank.

Andropov said, "Took you bloody diplomats long enough, makes me wonder what we need a Ministry of Diplomacy for..." He looked over at Irina, who was giving him an angry look. "Now, let's drink!" He took a large flask out of his suit and drained nearly half of it...

"Well, I think that settles everything then. I suggest we all move down from the alert levels immediately." He nodded to an Imperial guard and he ran out to give those orders. "Now," he said, motioning to the bar and soda fountian. "Drinks for everyone!"

Paul Stahlecker was also there, he exclaimed, "How about we all celebrate by being granted immunity and then hitting the town and picking up some ladies!"

THe Czar turned to Stahlecker.

All 3 of the Hattians burst into laughter at Stahlecker's expense...

The Prime Minister stood up, easily towering over the Satrap. "Was he elected? No... Then who says that he deserves to rule. Not to mention, their diplomat deeply offended my friend here."

Nor was Shah Khosru, Lord of Persia and Medes, King of Kings, Blessed of Ahura Mazda. The people love him though, they adore their Shah. He is generous and kind to his nation and is not hampered by democracy.

Just then, three Imperial guards burst into the room.

"Sir, we got reports from the S.D. I think the Catholic insurgents in Greater Prussia are coming here to the capitol. The reports say they are going to try and assassinate you, sir." The Czar just stared in disbelief at first. "Here is the report, sir, if you want it." The Czar took the documents and red them twice. He then turned to the guards. "Put the city on lockdown. Patrol the area within a five mile radius." He set the reports down on an end table. "Make sure they don't get near the gates of the city."

"Yessir. Right away, sir." THe Imperial guards sprinted down the hall and turned to the office of the Ministry of State Security.

THe Czar left and follwed the Premier. Once out of earshot of everyone, he spoke.

"What is wrong, if you don't mind me asking. I have sufficient medical facilities, if you need them."

The Shah spoke to the Czar, "Is my life in danger? Are the insurgents just anti-you or anti-Monarchist in genral?"

"How do you know they adored the Shah, they have no way to express that. Media and such can easily be manipulated."

Well anyway, the main blood vessel running to the you know, has been rendered largely useless, our doctors don't have much experience dealing with this problem because we're a very victorian style society and sexual matters are not really discussed or studied. I have yet to find a foreign doctor I can trust, but basically what I hear they do is route a vein from the stomach, a minor one, to the you know where."

"Your highness!" a man in a black uniform called to the Czar from accross the room. He ran accross to the Czar. As he got closer it was apparant he was a member of the Greater Prussian Imperial Guard. "I come by order of the Emperor and Count von Magdeburg. I have an epistle for you written by the Count." he handed him an envelope with the Seal of the Greater Prussian Imperial Armies.

The letter inside said:

"Your Highness,

This is a most important subject on which I speak. It is likely that the assasins sent against you will come from within the government...either from your guard, or the Imperial Guard, or the Imperial Gendarmes. It is impossible to say which. Your life is in peril. Do what you can to quiet fears.

The Czar took the letter and collapsed in the one recliner. He swore under his breath.

"Damnit. They infiltrated the Guard." He went up to the Guard Commander and spoke to him quietly. "Get all of your men out of this room."

"Yessir." The Imperial Guards left without a word. THe Czar took a deep sigh and sat back down, reading the letter again. He then turned to the Shah.

"I'm sorry, but I do not know. You might be able to leave, or you might not. Whatever you do, you do so at your own risk. Once you leave the Kremlin, I take no responsibility for what happens to you." CRAP! the Czar yelled. Why is this happening now! He turned back to the Shah.

"You are safe as long as you are within the Kremlin Walls. The gates cannot and will not open without my permission. Oonce you leave the Kremlin grounds, though, I cannot gaurentee anything. If you have an armored car, you could probably get to your plane and fly out. I'm worried about snipers.

"It is up to you, but once you leave the Kremlin, I cannot gaurentee your saftey."

Curtis Fabus and his bodyguards decided that the Premier was not safe at all inside this palace, they got into the armored limousines and started their way for the airport. The 30 SRG that walked alongside the limousine kept their weapons at the ready as they neared the airport.

Reck: "Men, arm yourself. You should have your amorphous class 2 armor and your xm8 rifles. Keep low and run fast. We must make it to the armored truck."

Reck and the men made a quick exit of the room and found cover near their parking area. CM's transport left right before.... Reck just might get out of this. The car was parked 20 yards from their cover. The men did a quick overview of the area and began to move out. After a few seconds the men made it to the vehicle, which they opened and entered.

"Let’s get out of here."

As the limousine neared the airport, a man with an RGP-7 dove out from an alley and leveled it at the limousine. He fired and the rocket sailed through the air, an SRG man dove in front of the rocket as he screamed, "I die for Fabus!" The rocket slammed into him and he was blown to pieces. The other SRG men quickly used their OICWs to pump the would-be assassin with lead. The limousine pulled into the airport and up the ramp unto the premier's private airplane. They would be getting airborne and leaving shortly.

Minister Crane approaches the Czar and asks a question.

"Given the situation, would you mind if I summoned the Spriggan directly from the airport to pick me up from your courtyard?"

Crane turns to address the remaining delegates.

"I would be pleased to offer you gentlemen a ride to the airport, provided the Czar allows me to bring the Spriggan here. It is highly unlikely that this armed rabble possesses the firepower to knock it down, and so you would be quite safe."

"Hmm, I shouldn't see why they would target me, I'm not a protestant..." said the Prime Minister." He looked around as the guards were dismissed from the room. He made his way over the Czar and asked politely, "Why have the guards been dismissed?"

The armored car reached the take off zone within 5 minutes. They had experienced nothing serious. Reck's ammunition was 3/4 full, so he had nothing to worry about as far as ammunition goes. The car reached the jet and the men piled out, surrounding Reck.

Soldier: "Sir, as soon as you are on the plane, we can activate the automatic defenses."

Reck: "Lets get going. The Emperor is expecting me for lunch."

The men enterd the rear of the plane. Machinegun turrets then activated and began to scan for enemy units.

Reck: "TAKE OFF!"

Curtis Fabus and his retinue were on the plane and they tookoff, under the cover of 12 F-16Ds they made it safely to cruising altitude and then eventually they made it out of Derscon airspace.
