For too long we have allowed this fascist menace to dog us. We have invaded before without success, but we learned from our previous mistakes, and we are prepared to finish this once and for all. Holy Panooly has admitted to playing a massive part in the assasination of our late premier, after years of upgrading our military, and months of mobilisation, we are ready to strike. Currently on the way to Holy Panooly is a force of 5,000 men and 20 tanks to secure a beach-head for supplies and more men. We will be posting the amount of forces as we use them.

OOC: Please stay out of this whether you are an ally of mine or HP's, this is one on one and closed to everyone else, comments will be allowed however. HP, can you please post a map? Thanks.

From the Fuhrers desk

These so called communists are nothing for our iron legions! They have no laws, no honour and have abandoned all sense of morality. Those anarchists can't even pull a trigger, let alone fight with a glorious army like us. They have invaded us before and now they try to invade us again. I have ordered to set up a special conscription programme which allows us to recruit 10 million soldiers and put them into the field. This will only put into action if our capital is under direct attack.

Let none escape our bayonets!

Troops are in landing craft, just hours from their target, a beach to the south of Holy Panooly. Victory will be ours, then the fascist beast shall fall.

Near the BC landing site...

'Hey do you see what I'm seeing?'
'Yeah, why?'
'Hehehe it seems that they're coming straight for us...'
'Why don't you take another glass... Drunken idiot'

The soldier stood up and began to doubt. He looked through his binoculars and he saw the - they seemed to be countless - communist vessels approaching. He ran inside and called the central command.

'Watchpost 293 reporting. BC is coming.'
'Thank you. Have you taken proper precautions?'
'Yes but I need more troops.'
'How many?'
'1500 in total. I need snipers, AT specialists... Everything.'
'It will be done, they will arrive in 1 hour. Have you mined the beach?'
'Of course.'
'Well then, good night to you'

"Sir we're gonna have no cover when we get on the beach!" shouted the nervous private.
The sarge turned to him "You've never hit a beach have you son? Hell I've hit a hundred, you're gonna be shitting yourself! Beach simulation is nothing to bullets whizzing around centimeters above your head!" The private looked green.

"OK people this is it, go, go ,go!"

The ramps hit the beach and men started falling straight away, some dead, the lucky ones playing dead or diving into the water. The private immediately headed for a tank trap, along with the srage and 2 others. All along the beach the same was happening. All they could do was sit tight, let the fascists waste some ammo, then charge with the tanks for cover.

'FIRE!'

The soldiers who waited to counter the invasion proned in the dunes used were constantly shooting with their MG34's (not the German version, this one is made in the USA; pic (http://www.brpguns.com/images/41801test.jpg)) at the troops who stormed the beach. Corpses where everywhere, and from the bunkers snipers and machinegunners had a clear shot on all the soldiers who ran in the open...

'Private, another craft is coming, place the .22 there and open fire! I want them to taste their own blood'
'Aye sir!'

When the ramp was lowered the massive 4 barreled gun shot all who was inside... It was hell.

'Fire the mortars'

With that command it rained mortars on the beach, killing even more unlucky soldiers who thought to be safe. Others stood on a mine, killing everyone in a 5 meter radius...

'They just keep coming sir!'
'Keep shooting them! When they have the beach we must go inside the bunkers and ambush them there!'
'Aye!'

As the craft with the tanks hit the beach, they turned to face the gun emplacements and fired, blowing up mortars, machine gun nests and enemy soldiers, they started to roll up the beach, and soliders used them for cover, firing rounds at the smouldering pillar boxes to pick off any survivors.

'Put the AT in position men! And fire!'

The massive 120 and 144mm AT guns were put into the field and started to fire at the communist tanks. Many of them immeadiatley exploded, others moved on. The whole beach was littered with human bodies. Machinegunners were still shooting at the incoming troops, making even more victims.

The defenders soon realized it was a lost battle and disappeared into the vastness of the Panooly jungles.

In total we have lost 1329 soldiers who died defending Holy Panooly.

The cheers of the victorious soldiers could be heard by the fleeing Holy Panooly soliders. The British Communist flag was placed on the beach. Immediately a corporal phoned ships out at sea. The beachead had been secured, supplies and more men and equipment could know be delivered. In all 2976 men were lost to take the beach. As darkness spread, the men knew that would be the easist part of the struggle, tomorrow they would have to face the jungle, and the nightmares of the previous invasion, stopped dead in the jungle by the superior HP forces.

Deep within the bowels of the jungle...

'Alright men, we have lost a small section of beach, we still have our home - the rainforest. I'll be damned if they're not going to send an expedition to find us tomorrow morning. I want you to place traps everywhere.'
'The usual bamboo spikes, pittraps, and minefields?'
'Of course, I want everyone to start right away.'

The jungle is now even darker and wetter than ever before. The monsoon was running a bit late, and when the rains come down, you can only pray for it to be over soon.

In another camp, not far from the beachhead...

'From what I've heard our task is to attack transports to their forward bases, they're going to establish to the south. Make several anti-convoy mine fields and set up things to lure infrantry into traps.'
'Why aren't they going to the north? Our capital is to the north...'
'Well, they would if all the mountain passes weren't sealed off by the SS and Gestapo.'
'Ah I see, well then, let's go to work. It will be a long day tomorrow.'

Secret encrypted message:

Sir, we've come up with an ambitious plan to move northwards, it will be slow, but minimal casualties will take place. We will drop chemicals harmful to plants, trees and usual jungal life and habitat, but harmless to humans. We can clear large proportinos of the jungle at once, fight for the open part, then move on. It'll be slow of course, but should minimise casualties as much as possible.

Secret encrypted reply:

Do it.

'Place the AA there, and then put up some field artillery. I want the AA to form a long row, 2 KM long.'
'Aye sir.'
'This is the only way to the north and I think they're not going to walk through marshlands eh? They've done it before and they'll do it again; use chemicals to destroy all the plants.'
'They've never been here obviously... In a few months all the plants are back again. The rain washes away all sins and impurity.'

A day later the AA guns were in place. All heat seaking, but these missiles aren't fooled by a simple heatball.

The Great Sumerian Desert...

'Men we watched these filthy rats to shit and piss on our sacred beaches. They will surrender to our glorious Fuhrer or they will die in either the desert of our jungles. We must prepare a massive guerrillia warfare to these commie bastards!'
'We will join you in your quest. The oath of the east commands us to aid all desert people in their war against the infidels!'

700 Desert warriors were ready to fight and were thirsty for BC blood.

"We're moving out!"

The forces had been split up into small groups that would stealithly snake up Holy Panooly, then meet in a specified place to attack centres of population. A large more centralised force would use the jungle destroying tactic.

"Watch out for booby traps men, I was here last time, the bastards would do anything, shit on a stick then have it poking out of the ground, if you didn't die from the piercing, the fascist shit would kill ya!"

As the groups started to move out from the beach, almost all the soldiers were nervous. The veterans who had been here before hadn't told them the half of it, the searing heat, the disease, the traps, the pitched and jungle battles. Many felt hard done by that having narrowly survived the first campaign, it was likely that they'd do on HP soil in the end anyway.

High in the trees observers saw the communists walking into the jungle. A birdwhistle was enough to notify all the soldiers in the vicinity. Around 1000 soldiers silently moved into their "fortifications", trenches, in trees, behind the bushes... Every single one of them was waiting for them to pass and to strike. The natural camouflage was perfect.

'Is that a human?'
'Shoot it'

But it was a treelog. These things happened all the time and they gave away their position too.

When the last few had passed, it was time to strike. The large group of people who was out there to destroy the jungle was stabbed in the back first. Gunshots everywhere, and when the HP warriors came too close for guns, they grabbed their machettes and sliced their way through the opposition. The battle was short but fierce... Many people died today.

The city of Theohuanacu, today...

'Gentlemen, the orders are clear. We must send 50 of our genetroopers to kill those looting and raping communists in the jungle.'
'50??? Shouldn't we try to get over a 100?'
'Nay, these troops are top secret. More of them will ruin our future operations.'

50 Genetroopers were sent into the jungle. Since their creation all fear abandoned them. Their training transformed them from strong humans to assassins of the highest grade. A few hours later they came across the first group of BC soldiers.

As a soldier appeared over the horizon, the priate raised his rifle and double-tapped the advancing man, he kpt on walking "WHAT THE FUCK!" he shouted, before firing a burst into his head. He fell. As the rest came running over the hill, taking shots with being harmed, they plouged into the group, shooting and stabbing. The machine gunners set up and the sarge shouted "Just fire, ours are already dead!" a barrage of bullets hit the fighting soldiers, ripping into the delicate flesh of the BC troops, but taking multiple rounds to drop the HP troops. "This is not going to be easy" said the sarge. He was right.

Of the 987 HP soldiers who fought there a mere 53 died. These were the fools who came out of the trees to act like a hero and to kill as many men with their machettes and pedangs. They paid the price.

Genetroops...

'Do you see them?'
'Affirmative'
'Go.'

The 50 genetroops walked at ease to the BC soldiers who sat near a small river smoking a fag. They were talking about their families and their trip home.

The troopers stood still near them. They listened to their chat and didn't give anything about the fathers they were going to kill.

'Pistols checked?'
'Affirmative.'
'Go.'

The troopers walked to them and without a scream or a manical laughter they shot most of the soldiers through the head before they noticed what the hell was going on. One took his sidearm and shot a few times in his chest and shoulder; he staggered a bit and he looked surprised to the bullet holes in his body. With his bare fingers he pulled them out and moved on. Only 9 escaped the butchery.

The time to destroy the jungle had come. High altitude bombers, way above any SAM missle unloaded devastating nampalm and chemical attacks upon the rainforest, when their payloads were empty, they would fly back to New London to refuel and re-arm.

After the bombing raid a fully armed airwing (120) of jetfighters took off to intercept the next who entered HP airspace.

The bombers did their job quite well. Only the high trees were untouched by the chemicals. The rest all lost their leaves after 2 hours or so.
It didn't harm any human so they continued to ambush BC soldiers in the jungle. The traps worked amazing, daily BC troops fell into them or were penetrated by bamboo spikes. And little could be done against them.

A few hours later...

http://members.lycos.co.uk/manhattanproject120/002035.jpg

Another BC expedition. This time the group of men reached a place some of them recognized from the previous invasion. The valley! The scent of the flowers and the silence. The 3 houses in the middle.

'Sir, I have a BAD feeling about this. You know what happened here right?'
'I know... Hey, what's this?'

The staff sargeant looked down and saw a stack of bones... They wore BC made watches. These were killed so many years ago.

And history repeats itself once again when a young lad stepped on a landmine. He blew up in tiny fragments of human flesh and bone when the PKM fire came from the hills, ripping up people who were caught in the blast or those who tried to flee

"Dive! Hit the damn ground!"

Recruits who were too slow were being gunned down, while more experienced soldiers were taking cover and returning fire on the hills. "We need tank support!" shouted the sarge through the phone, luckily, they were only minutes away, and they made easy work of the ambushers on the hill. They had survived this attack, but they would not survive many more.

'See those soldiers there?'
'Aight, I see them... Right, let me handle this.'

The marksman walked silently with his sniper rifle to a fairly open spot... He aimed carefully and one soldier was done. By the time the others noticed their comrade was dead he had already moved to another spot. And another one went down.

The BC soldiers ran for cover to let the tanks handle it, but they would stumble right into yet another trap.

When the tanks moved up in the jungle they didn't notice there was a massive 120mm AT gun. Point blank range, the first tank was blown into orbit.

"Now!"

Suddenly from out of the ground popped hundreds of soliders, who had dug well hidden trenches, or outwitted the fascists and used their own traps, they return fire with rifles, heavy machine guns and flamethrowers. HP soldiers didn't stand a chance, and many were cut down, the soldiers managed to kill many people in the area, and capture the AT gun. We took 87 losses.

Btw, you honestly think I "wouldn't notice" a 120mm AT gun?
Holy panooly
08-08-2004, 20:04
Well, it was only to shoot the first tank... Like I would care about 1 gun. Anyway

The hundreds of soldiers who were running in the open towards the hills were immeadiately mowed down by snipers and mortar fire. The BC tanks and soldiers were driven deeper into the valley by the advancing SS and genetroopers who defended the only route to exit the valley. They were trapped and ambushed by such an overwhelming force, nobody would survive this.

From every hill mortars and artillery was fired into the valley. SS units and the genetroopers blocked the only way out with over 450 tanks, artillery AT and landmines. When the BC's tried to retreat, they were instantly killed by the genetroopers roaming the forests. What the BC's didn't notice is that their OWN trenches were used against them by several jungle squads and were firing at them in the back. The situation was hopeless.

This assault went on for 3 days. And then, it was if the Gods did something to wash the blood away, the monsoon started. This rain season usually lasts for 3 months. An average of 1 meter per month fell down from the skies. The bombing raids - with little success lately due to the air superioty of the HP airforce - had to stop bombing because the rain would wash all the chemicals away even when dropped by the hour.
British Communists
09-08-2004, 11:38
It was hopeless for the main group, stuck in the valley, there was no hope of survival. However, there were still hundreds of smaller groups, managing to evade HP troops, and thousands more still holding the beach-head. Two groups met, and after a day of trekking with no contact, they came across a village, warey of fascist villagers, they proceeded carefully. However, when the villagers saw their hammer and sickle badges, they went into deep conversation about how they were the last communists left in HP, all they comrades had been killed or captured by the fascists. The villagers allowed BC troops to use the village as a base, and more were bought up from the beach-head to defend it, while the villagers of fighting age asked to come with the BC soldiers, they knew it was their only chance to see communist rule in Holy Panooly.

The desert offensive...

'Men, move on!'

The desert warriors rode towards the BC expedition in the northen region of the desert, bordering the jungle. The small expedition thought they had a quiet patrol and didn't expect any desert folk to attack them. The modern, high tech BC weaponry were useless versus the light but outdated weapons of the desert riders. These raids happened more often, cutting off vital supply lines to the jungle.

'Men, today we have killed more of those scumbags than they can count! We must focus on bigger targets from now on. To the northwest of us there's a BC base. We loot the place and kill all opposition.'
'Sounds great.'
'Yeah lets do it'

The next morning 1970 warriors left heading for the BC camp. Some small pieces of artillery was firing at the guard towers while the riders attacked the camp. The attack came as a complet surprise when the warriors came pouring down the hills, screaming battlecries and firing at the BC troops. The warriors were supported by the desert core of the HP army who supplied artillery and other heavy guns.

BC troops knew this would happen, and had set up many perimeter defences. The foolish HP troops simple ran into the gunfire and were cut down. Many HP troops died, or were badly injured, while there were minimal BC losses.

While the desert warriors were killed down below, the heavy bomber pilots looked down and gave the sign to drop their cargo. The 2 bombers dropped 2 daisy cutters on the base.

'That should do it.'

Of the 1970 attacking warriors only 79 escaped with their lives. But they would return with the notorious desert squad of the HP army. In the south, a new ethnic cleansing was started to make way for a giant military operation
