*lets out low whistle*

50,000 tanks? The USSR did not have 50,000 tanks..

5,000 attack helicopters

Assuming each heli costs $1 million (which in itself is absurd) this would have cost you 50 BILLION dollars alone.. that's a lot of money..

and 13 MILLION troops??.. Please revise your figures

OOC:
The USSR sure did have 50k tanks and even now Russia still has 41k.

Most of the 13 mil are support personnel. not combat troops.

5000 helos is excessive though.

changed heli number, and the troops are 5% of my nation, + most are logistics and support.

I hope you have a lot of income because those 41,000 tanks Russia has they can't afford. The reason they aren't taking off the red stars on their tanks is because they can't afford to repaint them. So if they can't afford paint, how could they afford to maintain 41,000 tanks in all sorts of climate and environment.

Revise your figures. You nation has far to low a population for that, far too low a GDP, far too low a defense budget.

Also, I would like to know, are these tanks produced at home? If not, I'd like to see some proof that you purchased them. If they were produced at home, they much not be too high a quality, as you suddenly have built 50,000 tanks, along with the facilities required to make them, in the space of a very small amount of NS years.

EDIT: In fact, let us look at those tanks a bit quicker.

10 million USD is a decent price for a MBT, no? Well, 50,000 x 10,000,000 does not turn into a pretty number. 10 for 100,000,000, 100 for 1,000,000,000, 1,000 for 10,000,000,000, 10,000 for 100,000,000,000, and times five?

I'm sorry, but you appear to have broken the bank.

They took the red stars off...bastards... think Putin restored that as the russian military symbol so theyll have to repaint em.. lol what a waste of money

The tanks are maintained, but about 15,000 are in reserves and rarely go on excercise, though now large reservist excercises are starting to be held.

Also this is not 50k tanks but 50k tanks, apc's, ifv's, armored vehicles.

I did read that, and I stand by my calculations. In fact, some of those things cost even MORE than MBT's.

OOC: only reason the bradley costs that much is because they designed it to do to many damn tasks. The generals in charge of the project kept going "hey can we make this a scout vechile? oh it will slow it down and raise its height to 10 feet. Well lets just put some TOW missiles on it. Put a bigger engine in and get rid of some of the troop space."
If they just stuck with the mini turret and some equipped with TOWS and Stingers for support purposes the Bradley would be alot cheaper. But they wanted it to be a scout, a troop transport, a tank destroyer, an infantry killer, an armored vechile, amphibious and a bunch of other stuff an APC doesnt need.

The picture of your "army" is accurate, you are North Korea! With military spending in your nation as high as it must be to support your army, you have no food!
