The Rift Class Patrol Boat is a fast planing boat in a hull made of aluminium-magnesium alloy with hard-chine bilge lines.

The boat's major distinctive feature is the advanced Ride Control System comprising a set of automatically controlled interceptors mounted on the boat's bottom. The Ride Control System improves both the boat's speed performance by 5…7 knots and seaworthiness by reducing the amplitude of rolling by a factor of 2…4 and that of pitching by a factor of 1.2…1.5.

The boat is intended:

To perform patrol duties both underway and when anchored;
To perform the missions of coast guard, customs and fishery protection authorities.

GENERAL
Length overall: 35.45 m
Width overall: 6.79 m
Midship depth: 4.00 m
Stern draught (at fully loaded displacement): 2.76 m
Displacement (maximum): 127.10 t
Speed (maximum): up to 50 knots

ARMAMENT

To engage surface and coastal targets the boat is provided with SHTURM missile system complete with ATAKA missiles.
IGLA-class anti-aircraft missile systems are provided to destroy hostile aerial targets.
To engage low/slow flying aerial or small-sized surface targets the boat is equipped with one AK-306 30-mm calibre automatic armoured gun mount.
The boat's firearms comprise two pedestal-mounted 14.5-mm calibre naval machine guns. The boat is equipped with DP-64 depth charge grenade launcher.

The boat's PROPULSION PLANT features a two-shaft design and comprises two export-version M520B marine diesel engines, each powering its respective shaft line with fixed pitch propeller. The total maximum power output of the two propulsion engines is 10800 hp (7940 kW).

All this for just:

(ooc: way too expensive, a 110'(~33m) Island Class patrol boat(outdated but still in use) only costs around $7 million per boat. Also if you're paying more than $100 million for f-22s youre being ripped off by overcharging weapon contractors.)

OOC: Thankyou greatly.

I have done everything from planes to tanks as my other nations, but never a patrol boat...

20 Million for the Missile Boat and 10 for the patrol boat sound good?

(OOC: Yes, those prices are realistic....)

We would like to acquire 3 of both types for testing purposes.

$90 million wired.

So, Sileetris, what do you think?

The UWA in serious need of serviceable patrol boats with significant anti-shipping and anti-air capabilities. The native force of a handful of jury-rigged fishing boats with mounted machine guns simply isn't cutting it in the hostile political climate of modern Africa.

For now, a contract for the production of four Rifts and two Seaskims will suffice. We hope to pay off the 80 million in installments over a two-year period.

(OOC: Technically I don't have the boats yet Kazakhlands.......)

IC: Needing more ships for our coastgaurd, weve decided to order another 20 of your Rift class vessels, being satisfied with the performance boost over our old models.

$200 million wired.
