I am as a general rule, against permanent entagling alliances. I prefer mostly loose coalitions that will rally when necessary, but other than that. I prefer isolation and peace, the status quo.

I know what you mean. Xeraph is involved in both formal alliances (3), and loose, friendly coalitions. Both serve the same purpose: to come to the aid of our friends when needed, for whatever reason. I would certainly welcome a loose alliance with you if in times of need we could aid each other.
