It was time that the leaders within the Balkan Alliance met together, and created the terms of the Alliance. It was also time to schedule our next move as an alliance, such as a military exercise, discussion on mutual defense, trade, and political relations, and much more. All nations within the Balkan Alliance may freely post here. I will be hosting the Alliance in the capital, Arcadia.

Nikolaos The Great arrived in the capital city, Arcadia with a limo followed by police cars for protection. The limo stoped infront of a government building where the meeting will be hosted. He walks towars one of the security guards.

"Where and when will the meeting of the Balkan League be hosted?"

"The conference will be held at 7pm, in this building. Preparations inside the building have already been completed. If you would like, you can go inside and have a look around. The cooks will be more than happy to make you something....anything you want." replied the security guard.

"Oh, and the Shogun will be here within the next half an hour, so please, make yourself at home."

Chancellor Feador Alexeevich of the Empire of Generia stepped off of the small private aircraft, at Arcadia International Airport. He was to represent Emperor Alexei during the proceedings. The Chancellor had arranged for his own transportation, and sure enough, there was a black sedan waiting for him. He and his bodyguard, Ivan, an Imperial Praetorian, got into the back of the vehicle, and set off for the meeting.

"I will just wait for the Shogun and the diplomat from Generia to arrive."

Nikolaos The Great walked toward the little bar and ordered some ouzo. He chose a table and sat there looking over his papers.

"Here is your ouzo sir, do you need anything else?"

"Thanks and you I dont need anything else."

The time was 6:00pm, and the Shogun was late to his own Conference...

Damn guards, always holding me up...

The Shogun finally arrived at the Conference site in Arcadia. By then, the building was packed with security. For miles, around the building, Spec Ops were deployed to make sure that nothing would happen.

He opened the door to see the diplomat from Nikolaos the Great, waiting for him.

The Generic Empire has yet to arrive...I'm sure they'll be here soon. They aren't one to ignore something like this.

Just then, a guard walked up to the Shogun, and gave him word the the rep from Generia is almost to the meeting. The Shogun gave a nod of approval, showing no emotion, and sat next to the diplomat from Nikolaos the Great.

"Good evening. How do you like it here? Are my guards treating you well?"

The black sedan pulled up in front of the large Arcadian government building. Chancellor Alexeevich and his bodyguard stepped out. The Chancellor approached a guard standing outside.

"I am here for the Conference. Would you be so kind as to show me the way?"

"Good evening! Yes your guards are treating me well."

Nikolaos The Great put his papers back in order and putted them back in his dossier. He shacked hands with the Shogun and sat back down.

"Well we just have to wait for the diplomat from Generia and after that the very first Balkan League conference can start."

Chancellor Alexeevich and Ivan were led into the conference room.

"My apologies. I seem to be running late," he said checking his watch.

The black sedan pulled up in front of the large Arcadian government building. Chancellor Alexeevich and his bodyguard stepped out. The Chancellor approached a guard standing outside.

"I am here for the Conference. Would you be so kind as to show me the way?"

"Most certainly, Sir. Follow me."

They walked down the sidewalk for less than a minute, and stood in front of a large old building.

"You may enter here. It looks old, and worn down, but the inside of the building will suprise you. It preserves our nations' history, yet it introduces our nations' modernization."

"Good evening! Yes your guards are treating me well."

General Alexander II put his papers back in order and putted them back in his dossier. He shacked hands with the Shogun and sat back down.

"Well we just have to wait for the diplomat from Generia and after that the very first Balkan League conference can start."


"Good. I'm glad everything has gone well."

Just then, the representative from Generia entered into the building and looked at his watch.

"Don't worry about the time. I was supposed to be here earlier also, but the traffic is very heavy."

He gave the rep. from Generia a quick smile, and began to introduce himself.

"I am the Shogun of Euroslavia. It's great to finally meet all of you, but I'm afraid we must get to negotiations immediately. If both of you decide to stay the night here, I will make sure you get the best service possible, and the next day, we can start the tour."

"Oh, and if you would like to bring refreshments to the discussion, feel free. There will be a man available to take your orders during the meeting."

Follow me.

"I would like to have that tour tomorow."

Nikolaos The Great followed the Shogun into the meeting room.

"Good choice. We don't need to rush things."

The Shogun walked into the Conference room, with the other diplomats following him. The Conference room was large, and it resembled the meeting room for all of the diplomats of the UN (RL). He sat down at the head of the center of the table, and directed both reps to their seats.

"So...what shall we start with?"

"How about the Balkan League's military? The Hellenistic Empire of Nikolaos The Great main army is located in Greece but we have some Phalanx divisions in Albania and FYROM."

OOC: It may take me a longer time to reply, I've got a lot goin on today.

The Generian Imperial Army currently has the large portion of its divisions located within the boundaries of the homeland, although there are several divisions maintaining garrisons in the Imperial dominions of Las Sephrioth and Generian Palombia. We also maintain garrisons in the allied nation of Roach-Busters.

The majority of the Imperial military is currently equipped with dated technology, namely AKMs, and T-90 tanks. This equipment is all put to good use, although a massive modernization campaign is getting underway. Within the next few years, we hope to equip the majority of our army with the latest weapons technology from around the world.

Generia maintains stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, being one of few who posess the 'Kali' virus, and being the developer, and sole owner of the 'KM2" virus.

"Majority of my military is within Serbia, which is where Arcadia, my capital is. The entire nation of Euroslavia is divided into 6 districts, each heavily guarded by troops. The Czech Republic, which was incorporated into the Empire recently, was also divided into 6 districts itself, with it still being considered a hotspot within the Empire."

"Not to sound rude, but I believe we should discuss the Terms of this Alliance first. Will there be a leader in this alliance? Or will it remain a Triple Alliance with each of us having equal power? Either way, I believe it can work. What about trade? Do we want to make it a Free Trade Agreement? Or just lower the amount of tariffs?"

"I would like each nation to have equal power in this alliance. Also free trading between our nations might benefit the economy but lowering the ammount of tarrifs is still good. What do you think Chancellor Alexeevich?"

"This is a grand idea. Lowering the tariffs over a specific period of time will definitely work to benefit the economy. It also may be a good idea for each nation to specify which item they wish to trade (what you have to export)."

"Our nation of plentiful in iron ore, fishing (we have a massive coast on the east side of the nation), tank technology, silk, cotton, and polyester."

Borman is located in former Yugoslavia. Generia has said it may be possible for me to join the alliance. So with that said i would like to ask if i may join.

"Well right now the items we can trade is from Greece which is wheat, corn, barley, sugar beets, olives, tomatoes, wine, tobacco, potatoes, beef and dairy products. We also have a large ammount of copper, iron, coal, and gas. We also offer top quality marbles. We cant offer anything from Albania and FYROM because right now there aren't any major industries there due the troubles we have there from the Albanians and the so called "Macedonians"."

"Greece does not have a large supply of silk but we will gadly trade olives, wine or marble for it."

"The Generian steppe, and Alberia in particular have large, virtually untapped oil reserves. Generian Azerbaijan also maintains an oil industry, along with silk and Persian rug exports. Generian territorial waters in the Black and Caspian seas are also hotbeds for the Generian oil export industry."

We would accept a trade between Euroslavia and Nikolaos The Great, giving you our silk, and receiving your wine.

"Borman Empire asked if he can join since Generic told him about the alliance I am guessing he will approve of him. I approve of him to join the alliance. Do you want him in the alliance?"

OOC: The more the merrier. It can be a quadruple alliance.

"Generian foreign policy has always been to take no crap from anyone, especially upstarts. We owe all of our foreign provinces to this policy."

I wish I had a colony in the balkans. Anyone interested in lend-leasing me and island, ala China/Britain's Hong Kong?

"Good policy you have there Generic. My policy is we only get ourselves involved if we win something out of this or if its an ally involved. What about yours, Shogun?"

OOC: Hogsweat, Greece haves many islands but I dont think the residents there will be too happy that they will be no longer apart of Greece.

"Euroslavia's foreign policy is one of non-aggression, and isolation, to a certain extent. We do not interfere with the policies of a sovereign nation, although we do voice our opinion strongly. First, we offer diplomatic solutions. Once that policy is exhausted, we try to intimidate/pressure the enemy to stop whatever they are doing. Seeing as we are a member of NATO, if that doesn't work, we bring it up to the Congressional Board of NATO, and see what they decide. If they decide to leave it alone, then that is my decision. It is a very rare occasion that we launch an invasion of a foreign nation."


OOC: It has only happened once before in the time that I have been on NS.

I would be most honored if our alliance took a similar stance in relations, to my foreign policy. We can get into more detail when the times comes. Now, here's a question of mine. Will we elect a President/Spokesperson for the Balkan Alliance?

Since all three of us will both have equal power in the alliance the president/spokeperson should just speak for the Balkan alliance but not decide what to do. Euroslavia will make a good president/spokeperson since you handle diplomacy well.

If Generia agrees, I would be proud to be the spokesperson of the Balkan Alliance. Of course, this would not give me any special priviledges, since all nations in this alliance are equal.

I do encourage you to keep your own foreign policy when it comes to your nations' relations with others, but as for the alliance, I suggest we adopt a specific foreign policy to stick with. These two policies must remain separate though, as everyone has different ways of handling other nations.

OOC: Yes except the the famous church called "Agia Sophia" its very important to the Orthodoxs.

OOC2: Nevermind dont burn or pillage anything. I need that place and the alliance needs it too. It gives us access to Asia and the Middle east.

Don't worry about it. We could consider it a different parallel within the same Earth, leaving us to control the same nations, but in different parallels. Yea, it's confusing, but most people won't question it. You are still considered part of the Balkan Alliance though, Borman Empire.

Borman Empire: There is no process that you need to complete before joining the Alliance, you're already accepted.

So far i know i got coal, natural gas, large mineral deposits(pretty much any mineral),manganese ores, titanium, zirconium, mercury, uranium, graphite, kaolin, oil, grain , and sugar.

OOC: I am not going to wait for somebody to reply on the Eearh II thread if I have have Constantinople. So if I make the thread on invading Constantinople will anybody participate in it?

Well i currently have full strength involved attacking Busweed or whatever his name is, but i can draft citizens.

If you'd like, I'll participate. I'm actually organizing my armed forces right now, and I didn't realize how many soldiers I have til now, hehe. Just make it clear that its an Earth II war.

I got full strength devoted to two nations and the wars should end soon and then i can send 1,000,000 and 100,000 more for every day after today.

The plane shot off of the runway and headed for the conference. On board was one official along with his guards. He ws a direct exstension of the emperor.

The plane landed and the men marched out with the diplomat in the center.

"i'm here."

The Shogun shot a quick look at the messy looking fellow entering the conference.

"Not the best way to impress us..." he said.

He had to admit, he was a little harsh, seeing as he wasn't informed of the meeting, but he hated when people were late....

"Please, take a seat."

"Welcome diplomat from the Borman Empire! So now is there anything else we need to discuss? Oh and the conflict with Kahta over the Slave Market is under control."

"And what of the Euroslavian withdrawal from our fair alliance?"

"He said he might withdraw. But the Emperor has made a speech during the Assembly which will hope cool things down."

"I'm still considering the value of the alliance. Personally, we don't care for nations who practice slave trade. I know that the situation was resolved, but the fact of the matter is, it took place anyways. Euroslavia doesn't get involved in other nations' affairs, but it has a right to announce its own disapproval of specific actions taken by other members."

OOC: lol look at america when it was first discovered both france and spain claimed the same territories. Theres millions of nations in this game and many of them are land hogs. O well not saying anything about anybody but thats the way it is in the world.
