Official Allanean Government Announcement

It has been said that a man cannot truly have freedom unless he is ready to give it to others. We in Allanea have always believed this. Thus, we have always did our best to export freedom. From the battelefield of Edolia, to the irradiated planes of Yurka, to the streets of Zvarinograd, we have fought for freedom.

The leaders of Ankhmet have been the enemy for freedom for years. Their official slogan is "who needs freedom anyway?" We hope that after we get them, try them for civil rights violations, and put them in Allanean prisons, they'll understand the answer."

On an airfield in Allanea

One hundred Anne Coulter Mark III fighter bombers and 20 Howard Dean Mark I heavy bombers are taking off. They are en route to Ankhmet's capital.

The Glorious Pharoah and High King of Ankhmet Semerkhet IV would like to declare that the completely unprovoked attack on Ankhmeti interests is an affront to the people who have elected the the Semerkhet Dynasty four times, and calls upon all those who realise that our motto is merely a joke for those who cruise through national descriptions should aid the Ankhmet People's Guard in the defence of the realm. Also, we would like to state that our United Nations membership makes this attack also an affront to all those members.
in addition, we would like to point out that the people's personal lives have very little intervention. Due to this state of emergency, His Glorious Divinity Semerkhet IV is suspending Democracy indefinately, but states that it will be returned as soon as the invaders are repulsed.


Finally, we would like to state that this is merely an excuse by the Imperialistic Government who is attacking us to get some territory, and to get their hands on the treasures of the dynasties.Our history does not end here.

The combat planes scream through the air as they invade Ankhmetian airspace.

"Everybody ready? Confirm?"

"Foxbat, ready."

"Concord, ready."

And so on, pilot after pilot, they confirmed.

The steel fist of Allanea was about to strike.

"ETA fifteen minutes and ready to rock."

*An anti aircraft station somewhere in Akhmet*

The station radar picked up multiple targets heading towards Akhmet.After a short message to command, the officer in charge had been given confirmation of the beginning of hostilities.
"Commander!We have recieved a message from Isis station,we have permission to fire long range missiles!All the stations on our side of the country are firing!"
"very well.Fire the missiles."
20 Spear of Ankhmet long range anti aircraft missiles roared into action,streaking across the sky, to some unfortunate squadron.

There two flashes of fire as two Ann Coulter Mark III's are obliterated, and then, just a few minutesl later the aircraft are over the capital, dropping their payload of HE bombs. The Howard Dean bombers alone carry a total of 10,000 tons of bombs, and the fighters carry some more. After the bombs are dropped out on the city, the bombers turn back.

Today, a large contingent of bombers flew over the capital city,dropping thousands of tons of bombs.These bombs destroyed large areas of housing, and several bombs hit the Pyramid of the Warrior Monks of Ra.at least 50 factories were annihalated,and at least one hospital has been confirmed hit.

"Commander, the Pharoah has given permission to fire the EMP sttelite at the enemy airfield!"
"That's rediculous, we'll lose the satellite!"
The subordinate officer looked nervously at the General.
"when I say 'has given permission',I mean 'has ordered'."
"Oh well.Fire the EMP."
The Thoth Class satellite tracked the course of the bombers, waiting for them to reach their airbase.

A single flash of EMP - and several hundred fighter planes were disabled. Half the Second Air Armada was down on the ground, and they weren't going to be airborrne any time soon.

"Proceed to Stage B. I want you to take the First, Third, and Fourth Air Armada off the ground."

"3,000 planes?"

"That's right. Divide them into shifts of about 325 fighters and 30 bombers each. Those shifts should be bombing the Anklhmet capital with napalm and fuel-air explosives, one after the other, at three-hour interval, around the clock. Report to me the results each 24 hours."

"commander,the EMP went down a treat with the Allaneans."
"Good.Prepare the Sobek class fighters.I want all available Sobeks in the air, and lauch 3 of our space cruisers.Maybe we can hit some from orbit."
The entire Ankhmeti Air Force was on high alert,ready to be launched,and 3 Isis class cruisers,only the second class of spaceworthy ships in ankhmet's arsenal were in orbit,their missile systems scanning for movement.Admittedly,not terribly accurate when firing into the atmosphere, this was a desperation defence.
2000 Sobek class fighters, 200 small anti-aircraft stations placed at strategic intervals across the Northern and Southern deserts,creating a lethal corridor in the narrow country, 800 Semerkhet class fighter-bombers, and 1500 2-man positions armed with shoulder launched stinger missiles spread across the country.

News just in,it appears that the Allanean air force has really geared up for war.We have just learned that the enemy are in fact using NAPALM against the capital city.Whole areas are gutted by flames.The entire Temple District has in fact been destroyed.The warrior monks of Ra have fled the city, and have given us a statement, telling the world that this was a flagrant breach of conventions on the use of flame weaponry.Wait...Half of the manufacturing district has just been dissolved in a massive fireball!A Fuel Air Bomb has just completed the destruction of the capital's usefullness.Surely this is far too much force?The largest non nuclear weapon in the world as just gutted our city.

Ankhmet was gearing up for war, a war that defended many years of traditions, and was prepared to mobilise all it had in defence of it's sovereignty.The devastation of the capital city in a terrible firestorm was the last straw.This would be total war.

"Sir, we lost a shift."

"What?"

"300 planes. They ran into some really heavy resistance in there."

"Good. I expected that. Let us proceed to stage C."

"And what's that?"

"Time to explain to the Ankhmetians that we have a space fleet of our own. Hit them with the Tachyons. When will the building of the Porcupine ships be complete, by the way?"

"A few weeks, Sir."

"Good."

Somewhere in orbit, 20 Tachyon Class corvettes turned to strike. The Ankhmetian space fleet was about to get hit.

Aboard the USS Nebraska

The commander of the first Tachyon Corvette smiled.

"Enemy in range, sir!"

The words were music to his ears.

"Tell all fleet ships to fire all torpedo tubes at once. We've got 80 torpedo tubes, total, in the fleet, it should do them in. If not, proceed with the heavy plasma cannons until they are fried."

"Yes, sir!"

"Deliver the message to the Ankhmetians: "Prepare to DIE."

Sheila smiled as she looked at the screen.

"Good. After it's done, report to me.

The black hole of space looked threataning, although that was the point of space. To devour, to kill and to the Dark Eldar, to butcher. The Terran fight had been detected, although it went without major action. The 1st Fleet had been dispatched to investigate, although it was mainly for fun. These Mon-Keigh would amuse him for the moment, in what way was yet to be seen. Silmesse Isandorne commanded from his modified Ramilles Starfort Urien's Hell. It had served him for many a year and now it would serve him again. He had seen entire populations butchered for sport and the insane blood-lust of the Dark Eldar. He had witnessed the torturing of the Mon-Keigh faction of Yerpes, seen their leaders wail in agony as they were horrifically mutialated for fun. The Mon-Keigh would be butchered and slaughtered as cattle in a flaming pen.

As the Terran ships came onto the viewing screen, the cast fleet spread out, ready to commence attack runs. The Ramilles Starforts were ready to attack with their lethal weaponry.

A single word came over the fleet intercom. "Attack!"

As the voice was heard, the entire fleet started to build up speed. The Torture Class Crusiers made daring attack runs, showering the enemy with bursts of Lance Fire. The Ramilles Starforts opened fire with their concussion missile launchers.

Poor Souls Silmesse thought

The Kinetic impacts would obliterate the ship, if anything was left, the after explosion would obliterate the remnants......

Over 400 of these missiles sped towards the Allanean fleet.....

Three men carrying cardboard boxes walked out onto a busy street,looked to see how many people were around them.A few seconds later,they put down the boxes,reached into them and pulled out Kalashnikov AK-74's.Firing into the busy street,one unfurled a banner of the 'Scorpion's Tail' special forces squad,before 5 minutes later detonating an EMP/nailbomb.

|ooc:The reason for the size is the fairly poor quality of the craft.Also,Ankhmet maintains a fair amount of mercenaries and any equipment they have.|

OOC: You know, I'd go a along with it. Allanea's borders are rather.. porous and it probably would be easy for them to sneak in... but.. you should have researched Allanea.

IC: Seconds after the first shot rang out, the street shook with return fire as dozens of passers-by reached for their weapons. Rifles, handguns, and submachineguns rattles, spitting out red-hot lead at the three terrorists.

Still, two Allaneans were killed, one by the terrorists, and one by 'friendly fire.'

"The fire support ships in orbit has been wiped out.Didn't even have time to send an SOS.RADAR just lost them.Very fast."

"Also,fire which hit the surface smashed into Sobek base.Wiped out."
The Ankhmeti National Defense Force massed at the borders, and began to prepare a charge.
100,000 normal troops,armed with AK-74 assault rifles and some light ceramic armour.
10,000 tanks,consisting of:1,000 T72 tanks,3000 light armoured cars,2,000self propelled guns,2,000 machinegun carriers,500 APC's,1500 armoured fuel tankers.
2,000 howitzer artillery guns.
15,000 mercenaries,attracted by the gleam of money from an oil-fuelled economy.
THis is Ankhmet's largest ground movement, taking up a considerable amount of Ankhmet's military.But the Orders Militant stand ready.
|ooc:Ankhmet's forces use cheap weaponry,so they are used in lightening attacks,often using human wave tactics,so recruitment is a big thing.|

"Those fools are preparing for some land strike."

"How do they intend to get to Allanea?"

"I have no clue whatsoever. At any rate, I want you to recommence the air-to-ground attacks. Same routine as before, use shifts of 300 fighter-bombers and 50 bombers each. Only, instead of ordinary bombes, use that new missile we got. The incinerator."

"What's that?"

"A version of the RAS818 ( http://www.bateshome.com/jordan/ras818.htm ) missile adopted for ground targets, using an FAE warhead. It's less powerful than those big FAE bombs you use, but it'll work marvels on their infantry. A fighter-bomber will carry 2 of these, and a bomber will carry 50. Fry their army."

'Yes, sir."

"Wait, this is not all. Remember those old, outdated Rube-class transport ships we had?"

"Yes, sir."

"Tow two of them into orbit and drop them on the enemy positions at full engine speed. Let's hope they work like small meteorites."

"Yes, Sir!"

"Good. Now go kick some butt."

In the Palace of his Majesty Semerkhet VII,things were going fine.The command chamber was filled with pedastals,emanating holographic images of the movements of Allanean Spacecraft,and with some interest,the transports attempting to smash into the forces that would find their way into Allanea....
"Lord Commander Samankherd,what do you think we should do?"
" 'Port the Ra monks into position and let them work their tech-magicks."
"Excellent idea.Lord commander,set the co-ordinates to ten miles south of the position of the EMP explosion caused by our little Scorpions......I want at least 20 tech-monks of Ra infiltrating on there.They won't suspect a thing.We may not have a lot of weapons technology,but Ra gifted us with great knowledge of transportation."
"Those 20 monks will take massive amounts of energy to transport...The capital will be blacked out."
"Just do it."
Seconds later, 30,000 men and 3,000 tanks were annihalated by two horrific explosions.
The Transport chamber was filled with the tech-chants of the Ra monks, getting louder and more sinister every minute.For two hours they chanted,until they seemed to explode with energy.Somewhere south of the terrorist attack,they emerged from a hole in real-space,disguised as civilians.

"OK, they sure are working. What is the effect of the missiles we launched?"

"No clue, but I think we should keep at it."

"Yeah. And while we're bombing them, how many more of the Rube-class spacecraft we have?"

"8 more, sir"

"Good. I want you to drop out three such spacecraft on their forces. They seem to be doing a pretty good job."

"Yes, sir."

"Futhermore, move out our OGRE-II sattelites in orbit above Ankhmet. Get them ready for use."

"Yes, sir."

"Let's go do it."

"Lord Commander,we have confirmation that the drop satelites are go."
"excellent.I want 8 transports under the escort of 20 Isis and Thoth class battleships on those satelites being lauched into Allanean territory immediately via drop pods.As cover we will fire 10 or so shots of the EMP cannon at the Allanean fleet.Oh,what were the losses of the diversion division...Hehehe....Diversion divi...Heeheehee!"
"The whole thing is pretty much a smoking crater.We found the remains of the head of the Air Force in the smoking ruins of Isis."
"Damn.Just fire the weapon when the ships are launched.Should keep them occupied.bastards."

OOC: So basically Ankhmet has no air force now? Cool.

Suddenly, the battle picture changes. Despite the Xanthal IV shields, four of the Allanean ships were paralyzed in orbit, their systems dead.

"What do we do, Sir?"

"What will happen with the ships?"

"They'll have to be towed back for repairs. Useless. Good thing we don't have crew losses."

"Good. Have you pinpointed the possition of that cannon thing?"

"Yes."

"Drop one of those Rube-class ships on it. That will leave us with what, four left?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good. Are our OGRE sattelites in position?"

"Yes, sir."

"I want you to fire EMP-warhead carrying missiles from those sats on their military facilities. We have 100 sattelites with 20 EMP missiles on each, right?"

"Right, sir."

"2,000 missiles would probably paralyze them. Go do it."

"Yes, sir."

And so began the largest EMP attack in Allanean history.

ooc:The Air force is spread across the desert in small bases a la Iraq,so you donnt get off that easy matey.Also,copycat!

"Launch the drop pods commander, I want our forces making planetfall within 14 seconds.There is no room for screw-ups."
"Aye sir.Also,our Tech-priests have reported that the weapon has been planted in Allanea territory and will explode before planetfall is ma---rces----orting---MP--lses!-----ssive--cks---EMP shield----inne--ectual!"

"Lord Commander, there are reports of EMP pulses going off al over the shop.We reccomend detonation of the weapon immediately ,so just launch the drop-pods now!"



A large Radiological/chemical 'dirty' bomb went off in the middle of Allanea.Mere seconds later the crack special forces troops designated for the task were screeching down to the planet in heavily armoured drop pods,in full NBC gear carring OICW's,and in some pods were light tanks and APC's.Ankhmet had been building drop-pod satellites since it had the capability,and was no slouch at drop-landings.This made a halo-jump look girly.

"What the hell?"

"They just blew up a radiological bomb in the middle of a the Great Allanean Prairie."

"Oh great. Any casualties?"

"Unknkown."

"Evacuate anything that moves. Proceed firing the nuclear weapons on our OGRE sattelites on anything that resembles a military facility. Limit yourself to 100 one-megaton charges for now, we'll need the land."

Oh, and their forces are landing here, from sattelites.

Prepare the response teams. Tell me when they land

This is a warning.Ankhmet has seeded the capital cities,and the few areas capable of use as farmland with explosives,bacteriological weapons and nuclear warheads.If we think you are going to get your way,we will destroy this country,and make it useless for generations to come.

However,we would also like to offer a truce.This war will grind on for some time at his. rate.It isnt worth it.We will withdraw our troops and end hostilites if you do the same.
