His Highness the High King Semerkhet IV, Emperor of Ankhmet would like to take the opportunity to to send this adress to the people of the world:
"We, the people of Ankhmet have fought long and hard to build our nation.We had to fight a long guerilla war against our opressors of old just to carve a piece of land for ourselves and settle, with a mere 10,000 settlers.Now, we are entering a golden age. The Semerkhet dynasty offers the hand of friendship to all nations who will accept it.We have no hostile intentions, no wish to dominate others, for we have had the experience, and we did not like it. We offer trade links to any country who would have them with our country, and wish to establish good relations with as many peoples as we can."
The Laws of Ankhmet:
1)The sovereign government of Ankhmets shall not under any circumstances carry out an unprovoked act of agression against any nation.
2)The Sovereign government of Ankhmet shall attempt to establish favourable relations with any country who has expressed an interest.
3)The Semerkhet Dynasty shall not attempt to undermine the ruling council with blackmail or bribery, but does maintain supreme power.
4)The ruling council shall merely act as advisors to the High King. (The name Ruling Council is a reference to the ancient past of Ankhmet)
