OOC: Although it is not yet shown on the map, Euroslavia owns Slovenia (on Earth II, Dr Twist).

The population of Euroslavia at the current time was getting critical within the nations that it has incorporated into the Shogunate. It was time to look further into Europe, to add more land to the Empire, along with more culture, diversity, and at the same time, unity. With the current Colodian invasion of Russia, Euroslavia decided to make a move at the same time while approval of expanding empires still existed.

"Colodia seems to be supported by majority of the nations (in Earth II), so we see nothing wrong with going in our own direction, as Czech Republic is not a definite military power. We will keep our forces at a minimum, as to not draw too much attention to ourselves, but we must send enough troops to be able to successfully occupy, and bring the Republic within our Empire." as stated by the Shogun.

An undisclosed amount of military units have begun mobilizing at the border of the Czech Republic, to prepare for an invasion. The information of the mobilization will be released at the time of the invasion. Currently, diplomats from the Czech Republic and Euroslavia are discussing a possible agreement, but the diplomats of Euroslavia will not 'soften' and an invasion of the Czech Republic is almost inevitable.

Transmission to all nations located in Europe (of Earth II):

We hope that you do not see this as an Imperialistic move. The amount of space within the current Empire of Euroslavia is getting smaller, due to the population boom that began almost a year ago. The Czech Republic will give our people space to breathe. We invited a 3rd party to come in with our troops, to monitor the situation, and to make sure that nothing fishy, such as depriving Czechs of their liberties will occur. We guarantee that the Czechs will maintain every liberty that they had before the transfer of power, and we also assert that we will do all that we can to compromise with the people of the nation, to make them feel just as important within the Empire as the other divisions (Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia).

It is expected that the invasion will occur at dawn.

OOC: Just a reminder, there is no actual nation RP'ing the Czech Republic. It hasn't been claimed in Earth II.

The order came to fire all artillery. Euroslavic troops led the way, through the Czech-Euroslavia border. The artillery began to open fire upon the unfortunate Czech military, which had already been informed that Euroslavia was invading. The two clashed, but the Euroslavic military began to overpower their enemies. Based on the artillery fire and the tank power alone, the Czechs were becoming overwhelmed.

They launched an assault upon the left flank of the Euroslavic Army, and for a while there, it seemed to be successful. The Euroslavic Army on the left flank fell into disarray, and began to give way, that is, until the Air Force began its campaign.

10 F-52's and 20 F-14D Tomcat's began more bombardment of positions that the Czechs held near the border. The Czech military quickly launched a few F-16's of their own, but they proved to be almost useless. They managed to take down 3 F-52's and 5 F-14D's before they were shot down themselves. More aircraft were launched from the Euroslavic border, and they began to carry out their own missions within the vulnerable Czech nation, going to destroy suspected tank plants, along with airports, and ammo storage.

By this time, over 437 Czechs had been killed, and 120 Euroslavians were killed by the enemy. Also, 12 tanks had been destroyed by the Czech's, while the Euroslavians destroyed 23 of theirs. Still, by now, no one could exactly tell who was going to be the first to push the other back. The Czechs were fighting very valiantly, even though, at this point, their military was outdated and outnumbered by the superior Euroslavic military.

Euroslavia finally seen a chance to break through their lines.

"Men! Attack their center! That's where we need to break them. It seems all their power is coming from each of their flanks. If we break them in the center, they will be divided into two, and we can take them out much easier!

Meanwhile, the First Imperial Division was being deployed in various places behind the actual battle, to take out as many Czech soldiers as possible. Sniping was what Euroslavia is known for. At first, the sniping was ineffective, but in time, they began to coordinate with each other, taking out Czech soldier after soldier. The numbers began to pile up, and it seemed that Euroslavia was beginning to rout the Czechs into retreat...

OOC: For those of you wondering how we got to the Czech Republic without having an actual border with them, we have Austria's permission to enter. (Austria is also not claimed by anyone.)

Realizing that their attacks were only losing themselves much more men than their enemies, the Czech Army decided it would be a good time to retreat. Unfortunately, their retreat was completely unorganized, leaving every man for himself. This gave Euroslavia a perfect chance to rout the Czech's even more. They began to follow the disorganization, and captured as many men as they could, while taking out even more. In total, Euroslavia captured 63 men, while only 4 Euroslavic Men were captured by the Czechs.

At that point, the pursuit stopped, due to its barbarity, and unfairness. The General of the Euroslavic Army wants this to be a fair war, despite the risk of losing more men.

It was decided that the Czech Army would regroup within the capital, and send guerilla forces in each of the larger cities to stall the advancing Euroslavic Army. When the Euroslavic Army is weakened, the full force of the Czechs would advance upon the tired men, and send them into a full retreat....at least, that's what they're hoping for.

The plan for Euroslavia was different though. It is one of speed and strength. The Euroslavic Army has decided that in order to defeat the Czech's at their own game, they needed to quickly hit only the biggest cities (kind of what the US did to Japan in WW2, island-hopping, except there are no islands. Taking those major cities would cause the nation to fall into chaos, but that won't happen, as the Euroslavic military is going to re-inforce the current soldiers fighting the Czechs.

More forces at home were being mobilized. Approximately the same number as was mobilized before, to back up the war. The troops won't be getting into the actual combat though, they will be trailing the actual front, and establishing order within the country, while it is slowly taken over. It should keep the amount of resistance to a minimum. The actual number of forces being mobilized will stay classified for now though. Euroslavia's military had much to take care of in so little time.
