CM announced that their embassy in DPUO would be "closed indefinitely" and all CM citizens of the empire would be forbidden from entering DPUO. CM has also declared they will increase military spending to prepare the nation and armed forces for, "The possibility of DPUO aggression against the CM empire."

CM forces will begin across the board increases in spending, all branches will receive more money. The budgets for welfare, education, health, and other unimportant programs will be drastically cut to allow the armed forces and police to receive more funds. The goal is to boost military spending from about 5.7 trillion dollars to 7.2 trillion over the next six months.

CM foreign minister Paul Stahlecker declared, "We will certainly not be the first to start a war, but we will certainly be the first to end one if they do start one. We are well prepared to stop any attempts at DPUO aggression. We are currently fortifying our position in Mississippian Libya and we will never leave!"

CM SDI and armed forces units have been placed on full red alert until further notice and have been told to always be ready to repel DPUO aggression at any given time at any given place. All units have been ordered to be ready to get into NBC gear at a second's notice and many have already been placed on Chemical Code Red (Wear NBC suit in the field, ready to put masks on)


All missile and nuclear units have been placed on Defense Code 2 and have all been preprogrammed with the targetting information.

The B-52s will continuously patrol just outside the enemy airspace in the event they are given the orders to "Cross the threshold", which will only be issued if CM is attacked by nuclear weapons. The B-52s will when issued the order, cross into the enemy territory and attack their predesignated targets. But it remains CM policy not to launch a first-strike but to always be ready to launch a full retaliatory response.

ICBM regiments of all types will be on Type 2 Alert - ready to fire on confirmation from the PM and satellite transmitters. SS-18 Mod-4s and Mod-7s will now carry their full complement of 30 1 Mt warheads.

Army units are to be ready for NBC warfare. Tactical nuclear warheads are being issued to ground forces. Air defence units are on alert. SA-10 and SA-12 SAM sites are keeping watch for missiles.

CM will lift the naval quarantine over AL if we are given assurances the forces entering AL will be limited to less than 5,000 tanks and 500,000 soldiers.

We do not feel that it takes 10 million soldiers to rebuild a nation of 16 million.

We will not allow Arabian Libya to be used as a staging base for an invasion into Mississippian Libya and then Mississippian Egypt.


We will lift our blockade if you will agree to negotiate with us.

Negotiation with Nazi animals is not an option. You will permit whatever the arabs request to be sent. You will make no attamept to prevent any of our ships of aircraft entering the area, or it will be an act of war.

DPUO has requested that a DMZ be established that will push CM Imperial and Colonial units all the way back past Tripoli (This will leave it open for arab terrorism)

We will never establish a DMZ, we will garrison the border with 30 divisions rather than just the original plan of 5-6. We will begin raising more army units and we aim to increase the number of army divisions by 10-20%.

In that case we must reciprocate by shifting still more of the Navy to be ready for the inevitable CM attack. Do you wish for us to simply send the Southern Fleet?

DPUO is clearly attempting to push CM out of her rightful land in Mississippian Libya. Then next will be Mississippian Egypt, then Angola, then Western Sahara. Then they will push Mississippi out of her other land in North America and finally they will push Mississippians out of Mississippi.

We will stand fast and firm against any aggression against our citizens be they in North America or Africa.

Let it be known that we stand by DPUO very firmly, and we shall not bow to threats of aggression. We only have 120,000 forces commited overseas, and another 300,000 are already mobilizing to Acre Union. However, their location may very well be Arabian Libya. In fact, the President is engaged in a discussion about the mobilization of our forces to AL as we speak.

The Government of Falastur is currently considering dispatching a fleet to Arabian Libya, to observe the blockade. We view this naval movement against the Libyans as illegal, and a showing sign of the beligerant self-promoting that has become such a character in Mississippian diplomacy, in that they think they can police the world. Paul Stahlecker has declared, "The second a single soldier over the number one million sets foot inside Arabian Libya, we will send eight million of our soldiers to cross the border and smash what will obviously be their invasion preparations! New Jerusalem, which is located 1 mile east of the border with Arabian Libya already appears to be a "war-zone" over 500,000 soldiers and 2,000 tanks are stationed in the city.

As PO Jones and LT Lee were crouched over their instruments in back the pilot up fornt suddenly began to scream, "Bail out, Bail out, Bail out." Lee and Jones instantly jumped up, strapped on their parachutes and were on their way to the door. In the back ground they heard the pilot making a situation report. "Under attack by SA-19 missiles, have aquired them, am over international waters and am in international air space. Requesting CSAR at location. Will try to turn into missles so there are sur---" With a sereis of bangs the missiles detonated. The P-3Es port turn and side slip caused the missile to "miss" about 50 feet above and ahead of the plane. The Shrapnel form the warhead explosion sleeted into the cockpit area destroying all instrumentation and killing the pilot and co-pilot instantly. The next missile impacted just behind the cockpit, the blast throwing PO Jones and LT Lee clear. The taller PO Jones was knocked unconcious as his head slapped against the aircraft coaming. Would someone please explain what's happened? I've been out of the office for the past two days.

Agh. To summarise:

We demanded the CM give the arabs land in Libya.

CM then agreed to this, eventually and with much cajoling, but then began to initiate a rather aggressive policy to us, which we replied to by doing the same. Sadly for him due to the fact that his economy couldn't keep it up he had to back down, which is just as well, since it'd have bankrupted the both of us.

CM is now moving forces into his Libyan territory, which I don't like at all.

CM also got around to threatening use of nuclear warheads on people. Since we both have more than 250,000 warheads - though mine, being Russian types, are usually bigger ;) - it wasn't an altogether good idea.

Ah. Our forces in Arabiyan Libya (roughly 10,000 men) will continue patrolling the border. In addition, we are also starting patrol flights of the whole length of the border with Ilyushin A-50s. They will stay in AL airspace, and will not cross over into ML. They will merely patrol to ensure the border is not violated.

TO: Parthia

After.. well... IF you get out of Voderlund's territory, your fleet will move up into GMB waters (We control Sudan's coastline, and a significant portion of territorial waters..)..

Theoretically, I could prevent the ships from ever reaching Egypt. I control both Yemen and Gibraltar in Earth II (I have the threads too) with Battlefeets in the general vicinity. This would close the Red Sea, and if you went all the way around Africa, the entrance to the Med to you as well. We can not allow your fleet access through the Strait of Gibraltar, for it would lead to the deaths of many. We will not hinder merchantman however, just warships.

While maintaining its state of readiness, the House of Seryown has preliminarily decided to support Communist Mississippi in this issue.

Very well. All relations if any with Seryown are severed pending further decisions as to whether to class Seryown as an enemy, in league with CM.

No, I intend to move my troops to Constantinople to defend Ottoman Khaif from invasion. We will not have our soverignty impeded by nations who feel they can prevent use of international waterways.

Anyway, If blockading nations agree to let Parthian ships pass then they shall have rights to use the canal for free.

Parthian forces have halted outside of Voderlund's waters and are asking for permission to pass through. With the information coming in from reccoinaissance satellites, plus the information from tracking submarines, it was clear that CM was planning something with their missile submarines. When it was revealed that they were moving off the waters of Grunge-France, TFU and Derscon, all missile forces were set to immadiet alert, ready to launch on the slightest sign of action. The missile-armed Tu-160Bs and Tu-22M7s were ordered to leave their orbits and move toward CM and it's territories, escorted by MiG-31M2s.

CM is putting over 20,000 F-16Ds into the air to patrol CM and Commnwealth airspace. They will not allow any potentially hostile craft to come within 200 miles of CM shores, they will also not allow potentially hostile craft to come across CM borders.

In yet another reversal, PM MArcus Jones again instigated the Emergency Wartime Control Act, upon recepit of information from "Mick" Tracy, The Marshal of the Navy, currently attending the peace conference in CM. Saying that it was "quite clear" that Roger Fabus was "stark raving insane, it would be necessary to match and overmatch their WMD arsenal, as well as drdmatically increasing funding to the military."

Communist Louisiana does not support the ways CM does business. We will though however strictly state that if a WMD strike does hit CM itself, we do warn that their WILL BE a full retaliatory nuclear/biological/chemical strike from CL if any fallout enters Louisiana Territory.

We would also like to point out that we are neighbors to CM directly to the West. We are hoping to stay neutral in any war against CM so we WILL NOT permit any foreign nations planes to enter Louisiana Territory who have a goal to attack CM. If your nations planes enter Louisiana Territory and are at war with CM, those aircraft will be shot down, and if there are any survivors, they will be held in prison until the situation is neutralized.

As are we. We do not wish for wars. We have urged peace in the RF-AU war, in the Kahta-Sevaris situation, in the Halladi-Hattian conflict. Yet we cannot possible have peace with CM's current regime.
