Earlier today The Republican Navy revealed it's most advanced and largest ship ever. The LRS Megadeth is a battleship that streches even larger than the Nimitz class aircraft making it one of the biggest warships in the world and surely a force to be recokned with through out the region. We've high hopes that the Megadeth will begin a long line of Super Battleships in the coming years, in fact plans for the second LRS Super Battleship the "Last Rites" are already in motion.

Actually, it was better the way before, but I need to point a few things out:

The big ship is the Doujin, a breed of warships known as super-dreadnoughts. If you want to build one t has to be extremely realistic otherwise people will ripe it to shreds in the OOC threads. Whereas that super-dread in the pic is generally accepted, it was through a lot of hardwork, determination and persistence. Design something that big at your peril.

Assuming you wish to continue though...lets begin. Now, this may sound harsh, but its meant to be good advice. I dont mean to offend so please dont assume this as an attack. I am only trying to help :)

Crew is half what it should be, unless you add those two crews together, these are big ships with maintenance heavy systems and they do need a considerable crew.

These dimensions would give your ship the appearance of a floating donut. really for a monohull you want a beam 1/6th to 1/8th of the length, and on a trimiran about 1/3 to 1/5th, with the wider beams more suitable for the big gun ships. You need a displacement too.

With just two reactors the ship is woefully underpowered. This aint a nimitz.

As for weapons, not enough detail really, you need to mention launch systems. Harpoons are launched from quad packs (usually), and Tomahawks from VLS. SAM sites, AA, what types? What calibres?

Visit www.globalsecurity.org and have a look around the weapon systems. It will help you.

I see. Perhaps it would be easier for me to buy someone elses ship, make a few minor changes, and then make it the flag ship of the armada :-/

And I did not take it as a personal insult as well. I am always willing to learn and your advice definitly will be put to good use if I ever decide to construct another ship :)

Any ship would be destroyed by that...so...yeah, I predict that too. At the end of the day a warship can be sunk, a plane can be shot down and a tank blown up. Such is the reality of life.

OOC: Super-dreadnoughts are kinda dumb. A few bunker-busters down where the ammunition magazine is = instant pwnage.

Well, there has been advancement in terms of protection since the pre-war Arizona, although any warship has this vulnurability.

Dois marinheiros trabalham juntamente com um dos oficiais do comando.
Robert Falazad e Iuri Ralavoda são os dois marinheiros.
Dimitri Frezadas é um dos oficiais mais importantes no comando. Os dois marinheiros são ambos de origem otomana com estudos nos Estados Unidos da América em electrónica. O Oficial é muçulmano desde nascença. Ambos pertencem á Célula 2.
Num ambiente de festa Dimitri chama os dois marinheiros e entram na sala de armas. Roubam as armas, três Uzis e entram na sala de controlo. Sem pestenejar matam todos os oficiais dentro da sala. Os dois marinheiros ficam de guarda e o oficial começa a colocar os códigos fornecidos pela espia no SPF que tem acesso a todas as informações do Exército e da Marinha.
Começa a a activar os tomahawks e a desenhar rotas a todos eles para fazerem explodir o navio.
Dá a ordem.
De súbito aparece a guarda e a policia militar. Os marinheiros começam a disparar.
Dimitri dá ordem para lançar os misseis contra o navio.
Carrega no botão vermelhos e começa o lançamento dos tomahawks.
Lá fora ficam supreendidos os oficiais e os comandantes com o aparato militar.
Lá dentro o primeiro marinheiro, Robert é baleado mortalmente...
Dimitri não hesita, vai buscar a mala com uma bomba e sarin... e faz-se EXPLODIR!!!

The 30 tomahawks had capsized against the ship and....

What I did with my battleships is I attached 60 propulsion engines on the bottom and gave them lots more weapons, since space permitted. That makes them slightly less likely to sink :D

I'm working on upgrading the engines to something like the ST-11 cannons, just without a shell. I've made a lot of stuff by using the same reaction. Say, wrap an electromagnetic bubble around a spout, and drip out a liquid version of the metal. The stuff turns to plasma, and is prolonged by being in the bubble. Out of the bubble, it dies almost instantly, not hitting the ground. It all works.
