What follows is an official announcement by the Marshal of the State, Komrade Morosov:
Komrades, we have watched with mounting concern the increased strength of the separatist movement in Drabikstan. We have witnessed a legitimate government have its sovereignity threatened by a group determined to use violence to fulfil their aims. To this end, following lengthy negotiations with the government of Drabikstan, we are to install a permanent Lasatanian military presence in the nation of Drabikstan.
The force dispatched to Drabikstan shall comprise of several squadrons of the Lasatanian Air Force, as well the 42nd Infantry regiment of the 2nd Shock Army, comprising some 1,000 troops. Prior to their arrival, 1,000 troops of the OVF/RRF (Overseas Volunteer Force/Rapid Reaction Force) will be deployed immediately to secure communications and infrastructure required for our military deployment.
Additionally, we shall provide equipment and training for Drabikstan national forces in their fight against the separatists.
In addition to these forces, we shall also move the Expeditionary Fleet near Drabikstan waters, thus providing us with further strength in the region.
Command of the entire operation shall be undertaken by General Tustovsky, current head of the OVF.
We warn against other nations making moves against Drabikstan, given that it is a sovereign government defending its sovereignity. Any interference on the side of the insurgents shall be taken as an act of war against Lasatania itself and nations doing so will face the full strength of our armed forces.
We hope this matter will be resolved swiftly and with minimal bloodshed. However, we are prepared to shed our own blood in defence of our fellow Socialists.
Komrades, I ask of you to stand firm in this time of turmoil, for we will shall overcome!
OOC: OK, I already had moved some LAF squadrons in prior to this. 1,000 troops of the OVF will be first in to secure communications then exit on deployment of the 42nd regiment Any outside power wanting to try bullying can go jump.. this deployment was previously negotiated and thus should not meet any resistance until troops are in place..
