Rotovian National News
Reporter: "Good evening and welcome to RNN, our lead story tonight is of convicted killer Samuel Heartings. Mr Heartings was convicted of four counts of murder against prominent Liberal Senators as well as numerous counts of treason. Today the long legal battle will be over as the High Court of Rotovia will decide the final fate of Mr Heartings. Dispite being the first person to be sentenced to death in 400 years, there has been little public support for his release. With members of the Rotovian Communist Party choosing to distance themselves from the extremist.... ok, it appears we will be crossing over live to the ruling..."

Balliff: "All rise for the Honourable Justice Peter Hanfeld, the Honourable Justice Helen Gamble, the Right Honourable Justice Adam Turvelle, the Right Honourable Justice Thomas Thebes and the Right Honourable Cheif Justice Katherine Oxford"
JusticeOxford: "Be seated, we will dispense with the pleasentrys and get straight to bussiness. Mr Heartings was convicted of four counts of murder, this is not in dispute, Mr Heartings was convicted of 124 counts of Treason and one count of Treason Against Thy People, this is not in dispute. The only matter before this Court is the sentence. While Death by Fire may seem extreme and deplorable, it is allowed under Rotovian Law and superceeds any doctrines covering cruel and unusual punishment. Infact there would be no matter here to discuss if not for His Eminency President Baccheus' extreme distain for the use of such a sentence and the subsoquent Presidential Order halting the sentence.
Given that the sentence of death would never be carried out under the Liberal Party Government, and that Mr Hearting has commited the gravest of crimes ever to grace this Court. I feel that the unanimous ruling of this Court is sufficant. I remind all present that The High Court of Rotovia is the highest Court in the Land and it's ruling is not subject to Appeal.
It is therefore the order of this Court, that Mr Samuel Heartings be stripped of the privilige of citizenship and be banished from Rotovia, the Island of Crete, Her Colonies and subordinate territories for the term of his natural life, never to return...."

Reporter: "You heard it here first, and I believe the Rotovian Ministry of Law and Justice has already begun activly seeking a viable deportation for Mr Heartings..."
