World Factbook Entry: A once great and advanced human civilisation existed here. After a great war thousands of years ago the colonies it laid were severed from contact and all outsiders thought them destroyed, but there were survivors.

They continued on the few worlds suitable for human life and began using the artifacts of the previous age to advance in technology in the quest to regain their glory through whatever way they can. The joining of this region signifies you attaining technology and the will to communicate and trade with your neighbours.

If you are interested in finnally communicating wioth your neighbours, this maybe the region for those fairly new future tech countries looking for history and hopefully intrigue.

OOC: My race, the Sskiss are my own creation as is it's history. Although to be honest, I agree with ECF, so I do not know what exactly you are referring to.

With me I'd be a Future Tech Nation. but whats the difference between a Space Nation and a Futrure tech natoins?

I imagine there could be a future tech nation that never wanted to venture into space. I personally do not know of any.

OOC: My species? Definately future tech. Although it's also a matter of degree. Some future tech races/nations are more advanced than others.

Space nations travel/fight with spaceships, future nations are still/mostly earthbased (they travel trough space too).

Yeah, About the whole some races are more advanced? THAT's why my fleet and world got kicked in the bud by the Shivans..

OOC: By your defination then, I'd be space nation/race. But I think the terms "future tech" and "space nation" basically mean the same thing.

my nations ships are only slightly based on B5 (the humans) but the names and stats and weapons are different. hell my entire race is my own creation, if the ESUS forum was up i could do a copy a paste of a rather dully writen out thing about my races. oh btw if you ever need Future tech items just ask i know the perfect place (the international mall)

I was obvioulsy too subtle with the ad, but the idea is that if yopu are a future tech nation (read space) that is capable of travel between systems, but still takes months to years to do so and you havent a complete comprehensive history of why and how... and no region either... you could move there, adopt the premise that exists and twist it to your own end.

Giving reason for the region to interact and communicate and also to RP the future and past.

Use a space tech world that wasnt totally inspired by any particular sci fi, but perhaps borrowed elements from any we see fit.

Anyway, it might be nice to se a wide variety of socities join mine in our quest to write our future. (probably developed communal through an external forum iof things were to take off)
