OOC: IDF recently got Porter and Lake County Indiana from Communist Mississippi.
IC: Assistant Secretary of State Dusty Bartman made the introductory El Al flight to the new territories in NW Indiana.

The 747-400 flew into the Gary-Chicago Airport. He got his baggage quickly and got to the limo that was meeting him and to take him to Valparaiso in Porter County. That would be the provincial capitol. Secretary Bartman was a native of Valparaiso and jumped at this opportunity. He was instrumental in the acquirement of the land. He got on his limo which took I-80/90 East, which was the Indiana Toll Road. "I've got to dump these damn tolls," he said to himself as he left the crime ridden city of Gary.
After 20 minutes through some light traffic he got off at exit 31 where he deoposited 55 cents. He then took Indiana 49 South. It was a nice divided state highway that went down to Rensallear and up to the Dunes in Chesterton. He went 8 miles south and had his driver make a right at the light onto Vale Park Road. He was now in Vaparaiso. His driver went on the city streets until he reached courthouse square in the city of 30,000 people. this would be the temporary capitol as a new building was being build across the street. He was greeted warmly as this was his town and region. He was a Hoosier.
He like this acquisition, but still looked West at NE Illinois and Chicago, he would get the lands from his birthplace DeKalb to Joliet and Chicago to his 1st home in Wheaton. He would do this by whatever means neccessary. How he would do it would be determined later he thought as he returned to the view out of his new office window onto Lincolnway Ave.
