Following past reforms First Reforms (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=340598) Second Reforms (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=345221)

Kahta, to make a better state, we will be enacting several new laws:

There is no longer a free press. All stories must be approved by the government.

Any protestors will be shot without warning

No foreign students will be allowed unless the country is on the "Good list"

OOC note: This is in prepartation for an RP I am planning. If you want in post your screen names for AIM, ICQ, or MSN here. I'll contact you, or you contact me and we will talk about it.

We find such policies insulting!.. It is a slap to the face of democracies. It goes against everything we have fought and died for all these years! Greenmanbry has decided to issue an immediate withdrawl order to all its citizens inside this psychotic dictatorship, and urges all democracies to increase pressure on this government to review its dangerous policies..

Pip sets up the camera and brings it live to be able to be viewed by Kahta govermont or otherwise. Pip points a finger at the camera. "Waylend pisses on you fascist rulling and hope's for a ...." He was interupted by a security guard tackling him and a man in a uniform coming up to the camera. "We're sorry for such unjust verbal asualt..." Pip comes up to him his eye seems to bruised and he whispered in his ear. "Mm-hmm Uh-huh Omi dear god." He turns off the camera wich he probally should've done in the begining.

Kahta seems to forget that you must care for your people as dictator. He is not. He is repressing them.

The Empire of Layarteb supports these policies as we too have banned protesting and only allow citizens of other ones in our country. But we are curious, is the Empire of Layarteb on your "Good List."

OOC: Secretly the President was disposed of in a coup several weeks ago. There has been a double going around in his place. Currently the government is run by members of the NWO.

Celtayoshi agrees with all the points in the First reform except for

'Any parent who teaches relgion to their children will be sent to prison for (18 minus the childs age) years'

and

'It is the womens choice to have an abortion no matter what the age' and very politely request that you reconsider.

and we agree with the 2nd reforms. Finally comething we can almost fully agree on.

Technocracia condemns this destruction of personal freedoms and any refugees from Kahta who wish to leave the country are of course welcome in Technocracia. Here, we value civil rights and freedoms, and are shocked that Kahta has decided to descend the slippery slope of totalitarianism. We only hope they realise the error of their ways and repeal these "evil" laws. We give the Liberals our full political support.

the Reich supports Kahta's actions. We acknowledge that sometimes freedoms like freedom of speech must be limited for national security

What's the point in securing a nation where there is no freedom?

What's the point of freedom if everyones killing each other and bombs are blowing up on streets?

Obviously, some form of discipline is needed, but all that is needed is policing or perhaps in extreme circumstances, martial law. This will decrease crime without destroying too much civil freedoms, except for perhaps a curfew, but this should only last a small amount of time. There are other methods to combat terror apart from destroying your people's own freedom.

A curfew for under-21 people for 9pm to 6am has been effective in our country in reducing youth crime
