The Central Committee of the People's Revolutionary Party of Lasatania has announced a major reinvestment program in the state news agency, Interlas. The Central Committee has decided that over $200m in extra funds will be made available to the service in order for it to carry out a major modernisation program.
From this date the new name of the agency shall be Interlas, with one capital letter, rather than the previous incarnation, InterLas.
Other changes will include the launch of a new state website by LasComm, incorporating information from Interlas, LasProd, AusLas and the Lasatanian Aeronautical Industries product catalogue. The website is expected to be launched within the next three weeks. Further details of the website will be provided nearer to the launch date.
