The Inter-Regional Treaty Organisation

Solidarity

The Inter-Regional Treaty Organisation (IRTO) is an alliance of countries from Nation States committed to fulfilling the goals of the Inter-Regional Treaty.

Freedom

In accordance with the Treaty, the fundamental role of IRTO is to safeguard the freedom and security of its member countries by political and military means. IRTO will play an increasingly important role in crisis management and peacekeeping.

Security

IRTO safeguards Allies common values of individual liberty, the rule of law and the peaceful resolution of disputes and promotes these values throughout Nation States.

Consultation

IRTO links the regions by providing a forum in which they can consult together on security issues of common concern and take joint action in addressing them.

Defence

IRTO is committed to defending its member states against aggression and to the principle that an attack against one or several members would be considered as an attack against all.

Partnerships

IRTO also sees itself as an alternative, (not a replacement) to regions that wish not to partake in the United Nations at an extensive level.
