The day is over when nations have supreme power over others. The day is over when a larger nation, has a stronger voice than one which is smaller. This is the age of alliances.

How many times have you gone into a conflict, only to be held off by an alliance of smaller nations? How many times have you been bothered by a group of nations which individually would be harmless, but together they seem to hold a stronger voice diplomatically? Isnt it troubling that the smaller nations are gathering together, and enforcing their inexperience of world politics onto the global community.

Today friends, I say that we counter the growing.... annoyance. I am calling for the world powers to unite under one banner. No longer will we have to conceed to the voice of the smaller and inexperienced. Together, working as a united force, we can strenthen our diplomatic voice, so that we no longer are troubled by the fools who currently bother our world. You will all see larger nations, being troubled by the weak. And because the weak are united, they prevail. Today we make a stand. It is time for the strong to unite together, so that we may conquer this troublesome plauge once and for all time.

Therefore, I am inviting all nations (500 Million Population Plus), to send delegates to Anatoba City, so that we may discuss the terms of this possible alliance, and afterwards, unite under the banner of nations who are not willing to conceed to the weak.

OOC: Technically, you dont really know that this is a warmongering alliance that I plan to create. The only thing that you do know of it is from what I said in my speech (above). Of course, you can make your own judgements, but based only on that information.

If you want to attend the conference which will be most likely opened in a few days, then by all means, please make a post below. Note, you must have a 500 Million Plus Nation, nothing below. If you think you deserve to be an exception, then still post, but I will mainly judge a nation based on its RP skill, and if it has a very bad history, though history will play a minor role in your acceptance to the conference.

OOC: Thats cool. I agree that swinging blindly is stupid. I would expect that a large function of this would be also to act as a joint intelligence organisation. If its gonna be as aggressive as I hope, it needs to know whats happening in the world.

Yes, perhaps our wording was perhaps misleading. This would not be an alliance which is just looking for war, as the name misleads, but as Iuthia stated, it would be an alliance which combines political power with military backing. Maybe this will be seen as aggressive, maybe this will be seen as a finer step towards achieving world peace through order.

The Iuthian delegate is free to observe the proceedings of this conference, as are all members of the world. To the Terronians, we would be honored for your presense at the conference.

The Democratic Imperium will sent a delegate to this conference. Note that this should not be taken as an expression of intent either to join or not to join this alliance.

As a nation with close relation with Austar Union in the past and as a nation that sees this Alliance as a potential bedrock of its foreign policy, the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire will host the Alliance Conference. While some nations may not join under the new banner of Hamptonian leadership in the creation of this Alliance, the Grand Duchy will not sit back as an organization with such potential is dead before it is even born.

We hope what within a few weeks (later this calander week), delegates from the nations that have expressed interest in this Alliance will come together in Hamptonshire City to discuss the terms of this Alliance and to join together under the banner of strength through unity.

I would like to join. Many of my allies are joining plus I am curious to know if the ESA has been disbanded yet or not.

Dracun will unite under Hamptonshire. Emperor Karnos is already beggining preperations to make leave to Hamtonshire.

As stated previously, Senior Vice President for External Affairs Mark Lorber will attend. Again, the House of Delegates would have to ratify any agreements and they must be signed by President Mike Sarzo to be fully recognized if Sarzonia should sign.

Mr. Lorber should be very familiar with Hamptonshire City, as he has participated in peace talks there in the past.

The United States of Shalrirorchia is sending a delegate to observe this conference, as it is greatly concerned about the impact on world peace that a militant organization would have.

The wording of the original speach concerning this alliance and the views of our allies have prevented us from committing ourselves to it at this time. In fact the alliance may change considerably under this new 'leadership', although we do not see how the host of a conference on such an alliance automatically gains the 'leadership' position. I can't search for old W.L. posts, and I don't want to give away the relationship between this and my other nations- I generally (though not always) try to keep my puppets secret.
Ah, well... I'll survive without joining. After all, my first act with this nation (and the one I created it for) was to demand surrender from the world. The only rule was "No weapons of mass destruction, please," and I stuck with the thread, but I managed to survive without even being conquered. I was rather surprised about that....

As the President of the United States of Shalrirorchia, I must admit no small degree of annoyance at being excluded from this meeting, as Shalrirorchia has been involved in peacekeeping operations around the world for the past three years. I see the refusal to admit our envoy as a personal affront to the U.S.S., and will watch this alliance closely in the future.
