In an unsurprising move, the Imperial Triumvirate of Tyrandis declared intentions to annex New Zealand into the empire through peaceful means.

However, this desire for a peaceful expansion almost failed, as the referendum to enter the empire of Tyrandis was deadlocked in a 60-40 split.

After several days of filibusters and lobbying, the initiative succeeded when Tyrandis delegates made several critical concessions.

Under the terms of the agreement, New Zealand will retain regional autonomy although the NZSE will be integrated with the Tyrandis Stock Exchange.

Executor Xavier Davidson has issued a request of all nations to recognize Tyrandis's claim to New Zealand.

Provided the current rulers of New Zealand have no objection, non-violent means of annexation are employed, and trade through the region is not disrupted, His Omniferocity's government will not oppose this action.

We condemn this invasion. We feel the people of New Zealand should've chosen to go in by themselves. However, if the people and government of New Zealand consent to this, then there's no problem.
