IDF needs to buy 30-40 old SSBNs, they are to be delivered without weapons and in a condition where they can be refitted in a year. We seek Lafayette (Ben Franklin class) or older.

We have 50 from over 400 years ago when we still used them.
They have no weapons but are ready for service as they have been in a massivce statis field(SP). They are in perfect Condistion..
They are more advanced than what you want. More like the Ohio.;

Note to the world, these subs will not be armed with nukes or any other WMDs

Ohio is too large and I have many of those, I'm looking for older boomers as they are smaller. I want one that only carrried 16 missiles

Isn't a Franklin just a little old? We're retiring about 20 old Delta-IVs from service for selling off to the highest bidder (the rest will become SSGNs). Would 20 subs, each for 600 million dollars, in full working order minus SLBMs be adequate?

That will be a start, money is wired on confirmation. I need 20 more from anyone else.

SECRET IC: These subs will be converted into hidden SAM platforms that willl surprise invading bombers in a war

Well the Empire of Layarteb has thirty-six Lafayette class submarines that have just gone out of service several years ago and placed in a sort of bone yard, just in case they were to be needed but, our latest creations render them so utterly useless we were thinking about putting them in the water to sink them!

You can have each one for a price of $500M. That gives a total of $18B.

I'll take 20 of them for $10 billion, wired on confirmation.

Confirmed. Perhaps we could negotiate a price for the other sixteen. We really don't want them. $10B for the first 20 good to go. How do you want us to send them to you?

either tow them or just have us drive them if they have mobility. I don't think I can afford the other 18, IDF Naval Budget Offices really will cut our throats as we can't afford to refit them all or maintain them.

Fist 20 D-IVs confirmed. We'll sail them to IDF forthwith, as soon as the SS-N-23s are taken out. ETA 1 week.

We'll tow them over. Well the other 16 will be sitting in the boneyard if you ever need them and thank you for taking these, we really need the room.

sell the old ones in an auction. I can't afford them, if I had a better budget I would be building my own subs, but am stuck to ordering old relics.

Hey IDF, I might be able to see a way to doing discounts on things, given your sad situation as regards money.

How? I'm all ears (or should I say eyes here) My total budget for the project is $50 billion including ship purchasing and refits. My Naval Budget weenies see funding anti-dreadnought weapons as more worthy

OOH! That is nasty as hell! Right. Well we currently have lots of D-IVs retiring (120) and could sell them all to you for a bulk discount price of 80 billion, to be paid over the next 3 years?
