To: All world leaders of left-wing countries
Comrades. For many years now, our country has suffered from a lack of democracy. The right wing bourgeoise government has forced us into wars we don't want, and put our nation into great peril. With the infighting between the two major clans in the country, now is our time to rise up and try to restore peace and order to this country. Help us make McLeod03 communist, democratic, and free. This can, unfortunately, only be done with a return to the ways of war carved for us by the fouders of the PFM. Any help you can offer us, even through aid packages if you daren't deploy troops, would be greatly welcomed
Please, i beg of you, help us.

Kim strolled through her command centre, desperately awaiting the help she would need to keep her movement alive, when suddenly the generators cut out, and the lights dimmed. In the confusion, she BUMPed into a map table, nearly knocking over a cup of coffee she had put there earlier.
Aid packages will arrive for the left-wing faction in approx. 3 days.
We currently have other troops assisting Axis Nova, so we cannot send troops.

Miss Hamilton,
Our organization has been made aware of your plight. We too feel that the advancement of democracy is the best step towards civilization and security. We believe in giving the power to the people. Our government does not approve of us aiding extra-national insurgents. We are still able to help. We would be pleased to give your cause 250 million DR (1DR=1.8USD) and we have tens of thousands of surplus FN-FAL assault rifles, FN-MAG medium machine guns and TOW surface to air missles, as well as plenty of ammo for all types of weapons. We can also send advisors and trainers to aid you in building a strong democracy. Please respond via this encrypted channel using the same transmitter used to broadcast your previous message, we will be monitoring for a response.

It is our experience that the legitimate McLeodian government has always been fair and open in its affairds. If the PFM has valid grievances, why do they choose to impose them by raising arms during a period of internal turmoil? Why do they wait until terrorists have detonated a nuclear weapon in their capital to try to seize the spotlight? Why have they never tried to contact the Autonomous City-states and other McLeodian allies through diplomatic channels to make their case heard?
Being democratic and free does not necessarily mean being communist. Be honest about your intentions. Be honest about what and who you really are. Be honest that you have hid in the shadows, renounced diplomacy, and waited for others to do your dirty work first. The PFM has done nothing but sit still while their countrymen bled and died and now seeks to capitalize on that suffering for their own political ends.
If you are really interested in peace, in democracy, and in freedom, I suggest this. Renounce the policies of terror. Renounce the policies of violence. Denounce the terrorist acts of the Morrisons. Come to the negotiating table. Declare your just grievances to the world and let us aid you as friends. Do not make us your enemies. The choice is yours.

Ms Hamilton,
Your request for aid has been noticed, and, in the interest of helping oppressed people reesablish democracy we have decided that limited scale aid will be supplied to your group. We do not expect this aid, however, to be used for purposes other than liberating your people from this autocracy you have been subjected to.
This aid will be comprised of a number of parts;
1) The transfer of US$700,000,000 into your respective accounts through untraceble money movements. This money will be used to buy equipment and supplies and is not to be used as an 'expenses' account. You will recieve the money within th enext 12-24 hours.
2) The immediate covert dispatch of small supplies and arms, including Stinger SRSAM systems, AK-47/74 rifles, genades, uniforms, mines, camofluage supplies and other equipment needed for what we can see is the current combat situation.
3) The covert arrival within the next 48 hours of one brigade (2,400 men) of our counter-insurgency force, the Pathfinders. These will reinforce and train your mean as well as ensure the safe arrival of further supplies.
4) Continued assessment of the situation, and, if necessary, an increase in the combat potential of the equipment we supply, including, if necessary, heavy armour and aircraft.
We wish you luck, Ms Hamilton.

OOC: Once the map is posted, it'll be easier. Unfortunately, i don't have decent facilities to make one on the computer, so i have to use my laptop, then transfer it. Bear with me on this. The PFM hold a large amount of coastline, since McLeod03 is an island that has been split effectively into three. Deployment shouldn't be too tricky. My one gripe is that I wasn't expecting someone i'm partially allied with (Freethinkers) to aid the PFM but never mind.

Miss Hamilton,
I have readied a group of men that do not exist. I need from you a secure location where they may either land, via sea or air, whichever is easier. The leader of these men (there will be five of them) is Colonel Aldred and will carry with him the cash that we promised. The cash will be in USR SUMU (from The Island States, a nation in our region.) , they will also be carrying an advance cache of weapons , enough to heavily arm several hundred good men. The weapons they are carrying will have no serial numbers or any hallmarks of any manufacturers.
If they suceed in helping you get safely established, we will send along further supplies. I must be very insistant that these weapons, men and money be used to specifically target military and government targets. Revolutionaries must realize that the quickest way to lose support of the people,is to appear to be attacking the people. Colonel Aldred is expert at covert pinpoint attacks, you may trust him implicitly.
All Power to the People,
Lord Anderson Aldred

OOC: the five men are former (or current?) members of Ilek-Vaad's 'Shadows of the Republic'. They do not officially exist and their fingerprints, DNA, names, identities, etc. , were officially erased years ago. They are experts at espionage, assassination and counter espionage.
They are working for the C.I.D. (Coventry Institute of Democracy) a legitmate charity organization that is run by Ilek-Vaad's (and some other nations) wealthiest elite, they are very good at covert aid, as well as legitimate aid.
FYI, every member of the 'Shadows' are called Aldred, with either a different first name, or title and so on, Aldred is not a Vaadian surname.

02-09-2004, 03:25
OOC: Consider the defences to be moderate. Obviously, since the PFM holds a vast portion of the East coast, anyone wanting to help them will be safest landing there, and any Post-Modern tech nations will undoubtedly be safe landing there, since they have captured the most powerful ship in my navy. Otherwise, the Royal Navy, as well as ACS, International Hitmen, and Nova Hope's ships all hold along the South coast, and a few captured Morrison ships cover the remainder.
In other words, you have a small area of friendly land, a large area of well defended land, and an even bigger area of lightly defended hostile territory.

A United States Class Carrier started to appear in the horizon, if you were in International waters anyway. Inside was no joke, activity was abuzz. Preperations, prayers, last good-byes. This was not a normal mission, nope, it was a Rosktai mission. Who were Rosktai? They are the elite Division of Special Forces that work for the Island of Rose. They know everything that a SEAL, Green Beret, Ranger, and even a Delta boy should know. Best of the best, with changed names too. They were never paraded. Though, their numbers were shown, nothing wrong with a few numbers.
Along side the Carrier, was a Chicago Class Escort Ship, inside were the promised supplies for the Revolutionaries. Inside were the Rosktai? Yes, they are inside. An entire platoon really. I never said they were in the carriers, their best friends were though. Heh, fooled you hm? An entire platoon, 40 individual men from different backgrounds, armed with a Colt .45, an UZI, and a TM-93A. Yet they were all different. The Chicago started arriving... waiting to see what would happen....

OOC: I'm still trying to keep it open. The other way would be to ship them in in civilian freighters or even a military convoy. Less subtle, but not much we can do without moving large amounts of naval power north, putting it in range of PFM land-based defences.
At this time, i don't know where the RP will end. I don't really mind who takes control, i just wanted a large scale RP, and its finally swelling.

The USIH is like ACS, a nuclear power. However these are mearly a detterent and would of course only be used in the direst of circumstances.
OOC: Also it was my understanding that we werent using nukes in this RP anyway, not that i would.
Aid to the worth of 50.000.000$ has been transferred to the right-wing factions net account. Ceydlon is willing to put a squadron of 12 F-16's on missile strikes against the leftist faction if provided with targets and escorts.
We only ask for 200 million $ when the right-wing wins this war.
Also, it annoys our Prime Minister that the leftist scum is receiving so much aid believing them to be do-gooders.
[Ceydlon would like to send an invasion force by Navy with the knowledge of the right wing. All of it's marines and a land-based division of conscripts by troop transport ships, totalling a number of 30.000 men supported by several wings of F-16's, frigates, corvettes and destroyers. This will attack the least defended coastline of PFM territory and attempt to wrestle hold of a province from it and dig in while being supplied by air and sea.]

Ma'am;
We apologise for having been so late to send aid to you. However, we are now prepared to help in whatever way we can. First move will be packages of food, clothing, blankets and tents, which we will drop for you as rapidly as possible. A pair of An-22s are being laden now; with luck and speed, they should be able to release to you in 16 hours.
Secondly there is military aid. In this matter, we are willing to commit heavy forces to ensure that you do not lose control of your country. First, there are Naval forces. At present one of our Carrier groups is available, and so is one of our Battlecruiser groups. They can be with you in four days if they steam at maximum speed.
CVBG:
2 Kuznetsov/Orel-class CVN
1 Moskva-II CVH (also useable by Yak-141M)
1 Kirov-class CGN
5 Sovremmennyy-class CG
3 Udaloy-class CG
4 Neustrashimiy-class FF
5 Berezina AOR.
BCBG:
1 Tempest-class BCN
1 Kiev-II CVHN
6 Sovremennyy-II class DDG
6 Udaloy-II class DDG
4 Neustrashimiy-class FF
6 Berezina AOR
With more time available, we can also seal off your coasts with submarines. There at present four Kilo-class and 2 Juliett-II patrol submarines which we can use for this; their estimated time to get on-station is eight days.
As you will appreciate, time is of the seence. If you are in need of urgent protection, it is possible that we could move a pair of Sierra-III SSNs into the area within 72 hours, or we could move a regiment of MiG-29MUs (24 aircraft) to the area within 12 hours. These aircraft would have to be provided with C3 by your forces until we are able to land our own controllers, armourers, etc.
Please reply with whatever is best for you. I am sure something can be worked out.
Yours,
M. Jones
[If Ceydlon encounters naval resistance on the way it will pull back out but keep up the air-strikes at the leftist territories. If it is the case that Ceydlon's navy must pull out we will prepare five elite commando teams to make assasination attempts at their leaders. They will be taught how to speak in the foreign language and to think like a PFM politician would do. When the training is complete in a month they will be snuck into Mc'Lodean territory with fake papers and attempt to work their way up the chain of command, politics or military]
