NWV High Ranking Cabinet Ministers attended a closed conference today to discuss whether NWV should continue its membership of The Whittier Pact.

The Pact, which has recieved much critiscm over the past few months - culminating in a War against Hattaria and the destruction of his entire Country, of which many Pact members were a part of, has unnerved NWV Leaders. And the trade embargos that are now springing up as a result of the membership, and NWV's defense of IDF Waters is beginning to anger some Politicians.

Although the decision on whether to leave has not yet been made, President Adolf Hitler II made it clear that they would "almost certainly" maintain excellant diplomatic relations with each member nation. And that the issue did not revolve around "dissaproval of Whittier Pact action", but rather of problems that have arose inside NWV as a result of being a member.

The Conference is expected to adjourn within 3 hours, and a definite answer will be delivered by the President's Spokesperson.

We remind NWV that he needs permission from the other members to leave.

At this moment,40,000 Whittier troops are preparing to deploy to NWV to make sure they honor their obligations under the treaty.
Meantime, the first fleet is setting sail for NWV.

In response, All 3 Airbourne Divisions are now on the highest state of alert and 4 Carrier Groups have been deployed to defendable nautical positions (those most likely of attack).

Four Armored Divisions have been deployed along the coasts of Greece and Cyprus as have 2 Light Armored Divisions. Six Infantry Divisions have also taken up positions along Greece and Cyprus' coastlines, mostly in heavily fortified positions. They have back up from 10 Infantry Air Support Groups and 20 Artillery Infantry Support Groups. Finally, Two Mechanized Infantry Divisions, 2 Infantry Airbourne Divisions and 4 Infantry Divisions are taking up defendable positions around cities. They have the back up of a further 10 Infantry Air Support Groups.

The official line out of New Athens is - "Wait until the decision is made."

This could be settled peacefully. All you have to do is ask the other members for permission to leave.

Official Statement of The Government of Nazi Weaponized Virus
It has been decided, after much deliberation, that Nazi Weaponized Virus will remain in the Whittier Pact.

The decision was made mainly because of our wish to keep close ties with our allies in an alliance format.

However, The NWV Government also stipulated that future Whittier Pact military action should be deliberated over by member nations much more closely.

Whittier agrees with this in light of foolish actions taken by certain members in the recent past.
