Clan Toxicity (Space Nation) Looking For Relations

Clan Toxicity
02-08-2004, 06:47
Clan Toxicity was born of war on the desolate planet of Ret Visakh in the solar system they called Ret Venemet, or 'Place of Birth'. A brief history of Clan Toxicity and Ret Visakh, the planet.

=============

First life developed on Ret Visakh some 5.2 billion years after its formation. A rare cosmic event halted the production of new life and exterminated most of the species that had developed. After two billion years of bacterial, amphibious, and mammalian life, humanoid life forms emerged.

One hundred million years later and the humanoid life forms evolved and began spreading across Ret Visakh. Another fifty million years later and the humanoids evolved once more, and with their larger brains and more suited bodies, they began spreading farther and reproducing more than their less-evolved counterparts, who began dying off. The survivors named themselves Visakh, which literally translated to 'Superiors'.

It was at this stage that rudimentary civilizations began, namely tribes. Millions of years later, seven dominant clans dominated seven areas of the planet. After thousands of years of continuous warring and cultural advancements, Clan Yarqek, translated to 'Toxicity', became dominant. Their hardy bodies, from hundreds of thousands of years of slight evolution from living in the arid wastelands of Ret Visakh, were proficient in combat through-out the numerous climates of Ret Visakh. Some three hundred years later and Clan Toxicity assimilated the other clans and a period of cultural advancements ensued. The Visakh culture grew by leaps and bounds, the scientific community learning more and more every day.

Four hundred years later, the United Visakh launched the first person into space, bringing the dreams of many Visakh to reality. Decades later and space travel was an ordinary thing in the lives of every Visakh. Another 15 years later and the three moons of Ret Visakh were colonized, as well as another planet in the Ret Venement system, which soon became known as Vyer, or 'Hope'.

Thus began the turbulent stage in the history of the Visakh people. The colonies on the moons of Ret Visakh declared their independence, as did the colonists of Vyer. Clan Toxicity responded with a declaration of war on both groups, who quickly joined together and became the Federation of Visakh Colonies. The FVC, when it seceded, had nearly 60% of all Visakh space-faring warships, so Clan Toxicity (now known as the Dominion of Clan Toxicity [DCT]), had to develop and build its own, with great success. No more than three years later and the moons were under DCT control. Vyer surrendered under conditions that half of Vyer would be under DCT control.

Decades later and Vyer and DCT warmed relations, eventually creating a close-knit alliance. However, the troubles weren't over yet. Suddenly, and without warning, three dozen Visakh warships destroyed the DCT capital, killing millions. Immediately afterwards, civil war began with four of the original seven clans re-emerged, splitting away from the DCT. Thirty five years of war decimated the planet, leaving it a burning wasteland. Vyer was destroyed after a massive space battle occured in its orbit and the ships of Clan Untverd, or Clan Blizzard, resorted to massive weapons to completely glass the planet. Out of the five clans that were in this war, only two survived, Clan Untverd and Clan Yarqek, each on the opposite side of the planet. For years not a shot was fired, until a Yarqek vessel was viciously slaughtered by a dozen Untverd vessels, resulting in a renewal of fighting. This time, the fighting engulfed the moons, who had since seperated from the clans and formed their own government. The moons populace attempted to defend themselves with the few out-dated ships they had, but to no avail. Two of the three moons were completely destroyed, raining Ret Visakh with their remnants. It is estimated that 7/8ths of the population were killed during this occurance. The third moon was conquered by the Yarqek. A massive ground operation moved across the barren lands of Ret Visakh and invaded the nearly-destroyed Untverd. Not a single Untverd clan-member survived.

===============================

Ten years later and the DCT spread across the barren and nearly inhospitable planet, in search of the remnants of its once great civilization...

Only five million of the billions of inhabitants remain and now, the Visakh people are emerging from the 'hole' they had been in, sending ships out to maybe establish relations. Messages were sent on all frequencies. The few factories left began pumping out exploratory and frigate-type ships.

*Note- Attachment is of the DCT's most advanced ship, still a remnant of the Untverd-Yarqek War. Its camoflauge pattern was developed to blend in with the desolate landscape that Clan Yarqek encompassed. It was also designed to fit within at least 80% of the vast canyons that pick-pocket the planet. The ship is the Yarqek Raider, a light frigate meant for quick yet powerful attacks on the Untverd ships, which were usually large and slow.
