On July 31st a LACOMB Naval Submarine was declared missing. Early satellite imagery from the LSS (Lacomb Space Service) shows that the Nuclear swordfish class Submarine was located just south of Portugual. President Maffret made a public announcement today asking for assistance from other nations. According to Senior Military advisor Gen. Pitain, the Sub incountered some problems with its power unit and now the men aboard the Sub are trapped. No Communication has been made with the Submarine, HMSS Corsica, however the navy informs us that there could be a leak, which if not contained could cause some serious damage to the ecco-system of the Atlantic Ocean. President Maffret has asked for Aid from other nations as well as the U.N., this comes at a very bad time for the President with Protests being held against the country's Nuclear testing on Johns LTO (Lacomb territory overseas). Lacomb has been testing on the island for over 15 years now. The issue has come to the attention of the Government and some action is being taken, some senior advisors say the protests coupled with this tragic Submarine event could end the testing on Johns LTO.

we can provide a team to fix the leak. but you have to find the sub my genome team can get to it when you find it. my men will be able to live in the radiation long then normal humans. so find it and i'll fix it.

I implore as many nations that can assist to do so. This is a tragic event that noone could have seen coming. The men and women aboard the HMSS Corsica are still down there and i want to go get them and bring them back to thier families... We do not know at this time if any amount of Nuclear radiation has leaked but it is a possibilty that we cannot overlook..... Lacomb is still a new nation and we dont have the capabilities to do such a rescue.... If leaking is determined then action will be taken to contain the radiation. Please assist if you can.

While we will most definitely offer our assistance in this grave and grievous matter, we find that, given the current geographical conditions, by the time any rescue attempts, launched from Agrigento or its holdings, would reach the scene of this terrible accident it would be far too late. Therefore we offer our moral support, and of course are prayers for the lives of your sailors and for the safety of the ocean from any ecological disaster.

Just about an hour ago four navy vessels left the capitol port city of New Orange. These ships are part of an international rescue attempt to save the lives aboard the HMSS Corsica. The submarine located 60 miles off the coast of Portugual has been trapped for 3 days now. Nothing is known about the condition of the sub or its crew just yet but we all are crossing our fingers.

As we are a very economically heavy nation, we are more that happy to help. We will send over mechainics in a matter of days.

Raven Corps, as you are well aware a corprate leader from your nation has taken members of my Navy as hostages. The rescue attempt of the trapped sailors aboard the HMSS Corsica has made a turn for the worst. The Nuclear Submarine is leaking and this could cause alot of damage to our eco-system. No word yet from the President and all Sr. Advisors are not commenting on the esculation against the Raven corps leader Mr. Felton. Witnesses say that a small number of Legionnaires from the 2nd Para has been put on a very high alert statis and could be flying to a more tactical location within the next 24 hours. President Maffret is still addressing the Nuclear leak aboard the HMSS Corsica and the Nation Of Sreech has a support group also assisting in the operation to contain the radiation. Also to deter further incidents at the Sub's location a small naval fleet has been deployed to protect the rescue crews.

As a word of advice, the only way we can save those men and women aboard that sub is to use some sort of weapon they don't have. Perhaps some kind of genetic mutants capable of stealth could sneak in and take out all enemies, while saving as many people as possible. We have just learned that a JSO (joint Special Operations) C-141 Transvaal troop Transport Aircraft has been loaded with a small Group from the Anti-Terrorist/Hostage Rescue Team of the Legions famed 2REP. The GCP (Groupe de Commando Parachutists) as it is known is top knotch caliber. Most of this team has been recruited from the worlds most elite units such as the US. SEAL Team, German KSK, and of course the Brit SAS. No mistaken this as the team that will Rescue the 200 some sailors from the Raven Corps. Reports also tell us that there is a small number of people inside the Raven Corps acting as resistance against this new Leader...Perhaps this GCP Team is also working with the Resistance and attempting to regain control of Raven Corps and to put to power the rightful Leader. The Operation:Far Reach has become far more than most would have thought. With other nations involved in the Liberation of the Hostages as well as re-establishing the Gov. of Raven Corps, this could be very taxing on the new nation of Lacomb. The president has requested aid from other nations in hopes of saving the lives of his and Sreech's people. No one knows for sure how this may effect Lacomb in the future. Lacomb's president, Maffret attempted to request assistance from the U.N., however since the new nation of lacomb does not have any endorsements the President cannot bring any ideas to the table. In the future this may change and we look forward to it. As for the Operation itself, nothing new has surfaced as to what is going on. Our Reporter in the field Bill Laremy has not seen or heard anything since his last transmission. This could be a good sign, seeing as this first attempt is a covert Operation.

Earl Charles Clancey, Lord of the Navy was inprinted on the door to his stateroom. In which he sat being briefed by his underministers. A Midgrade officer ran in, bowed politely and handed Admiral Clancey a note.The message was patched through to Admiral Clancey, onboard the Navy's Flagship, the NRS Victory. A massive Wolfe Class Superbattleship. He and his fleet had already left the port of Winchester, the ancesterial home to both the Empire, and the navy. They were quickly approaching the Iberian Peninsula.

Admiral Rey recieved the message at about the same time as Lord Clancey. He looked up from his ritual afternoon tea with his officers and with a wide grin exclaimed "We have been given premission." The other officers all put down their cups, and Rey demanded them to finish. Soon afterwards they ran to their station, and the First Fleet was put on high alert. Alarms and lights flashed throughout the fleet announcing the code.

Onboard the Seawolf, NRS Bane, Captain Vincent Lector awoke from his afternoon nap to the sound of the warnings. He dressed quickly and went into the conning tower to retrieve the orders. They read clear as day to the carreer officer of some 15 years. He went deep into the bowls of the craft, and went passed two guards standing outside of a room. The men inside stood to the captain, they were dressed in solid black, a rarity in the navy. They were the Special Operations unit assaigned the the Bane. Some 15 highly trained and mobile members of the UCWS unit. The members boarded the smaller submercible tucked in the custom bay to the Seawolf. As the two small submercibles descended into the water, radio contact was cut with the NRS Bane, only the thin wire connected them to the mothercraft.

The two submercibles passed through the water with no problem. Easily evading large sealife. They came to the bottom, where the Lacomb Submarine lay. The submercibles inflated a cushion on the bottom of each as they landed gently on the submarine. The airlock sealed tightly over the hull, where the incision would begin. On both submercibles UCWS members began to slowly weld the metal plate out. Before it was complete they attached a suction cup, which when fully cut allowed it to be easily pulled onto the small submarines holding the teams. The team on the fore of the Sub slowly climbed into the large submarine, and with silenced Socoms and submachine guns began to clear the front of the boat. The team in the aft slowly followed suit.

Also, much to our pleasure, the Dragoons, a prized unit in the Royal Guard Division, has pledged one of its Air Wings to support you. This is Bill Laremy with CNN/Lacomb and i am aboard one of the Newtdom Navy's Battleships. I have just learned that a small group os Secret Frogman have entered the Submarine HMSS(His Majestys Submersible Ship) Corsica. I am also getting confermation that the Legions GCP unit is also closing in on the Leader Mr. Felton. This could be the end that we have all been waiting for. Uhhh....whats that?...Hold on....they've what?,...

Viewers i have just recieved word that the Elite GCP unit is in place and there is some firing going on....yes some shots are being heard....Yes and some shots have been fired as well aboard the sub, although we are not sure why as yet....I am being asked to board a chopper that will take me to the HMC Armstrong, an aircraft carrier from Lacomb, where i will have more news on the GCP attack.

This is Bill Laremy aboard the HMC Armstrong, one of Lacombs Older Carriers. No real information has been passed to me as of yet however i have heard from some of the Naval Officers here that the Newtdom Nation has several airwings on stand-by for some sort of major Evacuation. Ill have more for you as it arrives. Back to you at CNN/L headquarters.

Thank you Bill, in more recent news the World Weapons Expo is opening up very soon in New Orange. Many Arms Manufacturing Company's from around the world will be on hand to demonstrate thier equipment. Everything from rifles to tanks and bombers and subs.

Also in the news, there has been some word that President Maffret will be closing down the Nuclear testing on John's LTO. We are not sure of the impact this will have on the Economy but its been an issue for some time now.

Folks we have just recieved word from the GCP unit who has indeed assaulted the Raven Corps Compound where the 250 Hostages are located. Also we are getting some feed back in regards to the Newtdom Special froggman unit who has entered the HMSS Corsica. According to my resources the Special Froggman unit has secured the Sub and the Naval units in the nearby area can begin salvage operations very soon. I am going to board another helicopter in hopes of being transported to the Raven Corps Terrorist location where the Lacomb Legion GCP unit has assaulted. I know also that the Newtdom nation has now deployed their Airwings in support of the rescue attempt and mass Evacuation.

I cannot say to much since the Operation is on going Pam, however i can say are goal is simple. we would like to rescue all the hostages and bring them home to thier families. Another, possible long term goal is to return Raven Corps. to its proper owners.

The deepsea rescue vechile was in place. When word was recieved from the Bane the team was already set to depart. The large submercibles launched from the bay beneath the Master. As the raptors fly over the compound missiles start to fly from A.A defences, and from the raptors After the airstrike The compound is severly damaged. and fires rage out of control on the north side blocking off the sea and the evac route. As the compound burns Millions of soldiers begin to assualt tthe compound then millions of soldiers begin to rush the compound and shooting begins to ring out loud for miles.

The small but highly trained men of the GCP unit from the Lacomb Legion began its movement through the compound of the Raven Corps. After two hours of small arms ingagement with security forces the GCP gad secured the Compound and located those members of the resistance that the Lacomb Intel Enforcement Dept.(LIED) had been in contact with. Now it was just a matter of waiting for the Evac.

In twenty five minutes the GCP unit had installed the explosives and with all 33 former members of Raven Corps tagging along, they began thier Plan"B" Evacuation, which was to commandeer a Raven corps Aircraft, located on the near-by airfield and fly out to sea where they would meet up with a Lacomb Naval Fleet, the NORESTCOM (North East Command) Fleet. As the GCP unit and the 33 Raven Evacuees began boarding the plane, one of them told Cpl. Meyer about some highly valuable documents located just inside the CEO's office, with those Documents they could go to the U.N. with something real some evidence.

The Chef had not lost men in a very long time. It was a feeling that didnt settle right with him and would haunt him for some time to come.

A wet Evac. meant they would have to do a controled crash into the sea and meet with a Submarine. Never a good plan, but it was all they had. Chef Peltanomi just hoped the citizens could manage enough to survive the crash and the cold water. He would soon find out.

Hello agian Lacomb, as you can see now, the Newtdom navy has just broken the surface of the water and i can see the HMSS Corsica. The naval liason attached with me said no Nuclear leaking was found and in fact only some flooding had occured. According to some, what happened aboard the HMSS Corsica was a Torpedo malfunction. The Corsica is an Naval Academy Traning Submarine, not an attack sub as we had first thought. While on a summer training cruise the Corsica and its cadet crew undergoes a series of drills including torpedo drills. The torpedos used on the Corsica are HTP type and have had troubles in the past. Once the investigation gets underway we will know more. The Navy has promised us some interviews with the cadets after thier debriefing and some time with thier families. We are so happy that the Newtdom navy has helped out so much. This is a great day for all free nations. The crew is being taken aboard another navy vessel for transport to the Lacombs AH-5 Notredame (Hospital Ship). The Submarine Corsica will soon be taken to port in Spain where the investigation will begin. This will still take a few weeks at best, so the Lacomb Navy has assained a Detachment Fleet to the Sub for support and defence. this Det.Fleet includes: SSG(N)-11 Atlas(Submarine, surface-to-suface missle, Nuclear powered):CVH-22 Corriger(Helicopter Carrier): AEM-9 Roman(Missle support ship) AOE-34 Fame(Fast attack support ship) as well as the FFG-78 Pinot(guided missle frigate). I am sure as well that the JSO(joint special ops) have someone out here too, hiding.

I would like to extend my greatest thanks to all those who were involved in the Rescue Operation. The nations of Newtdom, Sreech, and those men and women who gave thier prayers for the Hostages. Even though some of the men are lost to us killed by an evil terrorist, Mr. Felton, we have in essence won this fight. Freedom is never free. it saddens us all to lose fellow citizens but we must be strong and continue. I am sorry for the loss that has come to the 2 mechanics from Sreech and i offer my condolances. This has been a trying time for us all and i fear that it is not over yet. We have rescued the hostages but the terrorist still lives and has vowed to continue against all who are free. I urge the U.N. again to imput a trade embargo on the Raven Corps. To freeze the assets of the Raven corps. Mr. Felton must be stopped and the Raven Corps put back in the hands of the sane.

After the troops landed the Troops who had control of the Raven corps compound evaced before our forces could arrive. The compound was destroyed and all remaining civilian presents was killed as punisment for not standing up to the Lacomb troops all troops have been called back and have been put back on guard duty for the current own Me. Felton.
