Greenmanbry fleet movements in the Red Sea

"Keep your eyes fixed on that screen, boy!"

Admiral Estral went onto the deck of the DBS Judgement and stared at the water before him. A vast expanse of blue sky lay above Greenmanbry's large fleet.

They had just passed the Port of Adn and are making their way to a large country.. a country in which they will impose peace and security: The Sudan.

The lawless Sudan has been home to rebels and militias for decades.. If the local residents manage to evade the bullets of such organizations, they face another catastrophe.. a combination that leads to an ultimately slow and painful death: The searing heat, the barren desert, and the lack of basic resources.

Plans are underway to create a large city, Al-Salam, the Arabic word for "Peace" in the troubled Darfur region to the West. This city will be humongous.. big enough to accomodate the millions of fleeing refugees.. The cost of creating such a city will be enormous, but those plans must wait, for they must establish their presence.. and security of course.. in the Sudan first.

The Sudan's neighbor is also in trouble.. Chad has been struggling with corruption, poverty, and disease for a long time. Greenmanbry hopes to lend a hand to local authorities, or take over governmental, security, and humanitarian missions there as well.

=============

OOC: I plan to claim these two countries in the Earth I/II threads.. no other nation has ever mentioned these two countries, so if there are any challengers (there should be absolutely none), let them come forward.

After months of toiling, and expenses approaching a trillion dollars, the city was fully functioning..

Al-Salaam, the capitol of Greenmanbry, was built in Eastern/Central Sudan instead of in the Darfur. Peace has prevailed, and with it came tolerance, democracy, and full Greenmanbry integration with the Sudan and Chad. The people of Al-Salaam referred to it as the most-orderly city in the whole world.. Hundreds of thousands of acres.. The pre-planned highway running around the city took the shape of a helm, with 12 spokes. Right in the middle, where the helm's axis would be, was the only round-a-bout in the city.. A very large circle indeed.

The Presidential Complex, a huge, modern, domed building, sat in the center of the city. Everything revolved around the complex. This is where the President resided, and where visiting heads of state stayed.

Around the Complex was the so-called "Diplomatic District", where embassies were built and organizations kept their headquarters.

To the North, one could see the immense skyscrapers reaching into the heavens; the commercial district was well-planned, with wide roads and organized parking spaces..

To the West was the First Residential District, where millions of citizens conducted their daily affairs. Also to the West, the soon-to-be-constructed, some 5000 acre Al-Salaam Airport will soon be bustling with aircraft.

To the South was the Second Residential District, this one double the size of the First.

And to the East lay the Industrial District, where hundreds of factories were set up, and where the widely-acclaimed "D-11 Apocalypse" tank production line was hard at work to support the GMB Army.

President Byrnashty looked outside his window, and heaved a sigh..

"At last..."

He sunk into his chair.. It had been a long day..

He was the first President of the Dominion.. He was a fit, healthy, single man.. his ancestors Sudanese black Muslims.. He had been in power for several years now, and it was beginning to take its toll on him..

He filed the airport plans, and decided to go to bed.

OOC: Capitol fully established, except the airport.. Industrialization process complete.. Just to give people some idea of my leader / capitol city..
