Negotin, a small border town, had always been a tranquil and quiet place... That would soon change as residents of the small agricultural community began noticing things, things that originated from a formerly abandoned farm 'house' a few kilometres outside of the city.
More Negotin residents were on edge when six people moved into the city, claiming to be from the nearby town of Bor. It was rather odd, especially since most of the people in Negotin had relatives in Bor. Those relatives said no one had left the city in months and the population had remained steady. After deliberation, the mayor of Negotin called up the nation's military which then said it'd deploy some of its famous (to our nation) Black Berets, the most highly trained soldiers in the CYS.
Operations began at 0445 that morning...
Squad sergeant Miro Batez, a Black Beret operative from the industrial city of Nis, loaded his team aboard one of the Mi-8 Hoplite helicopters. It was him and the other six members of his team. Another two Hoplites were loaded up with one team each. Operational plans called for SH Alpha to deposit its team two kilometres from the town of Negotin. SH Bravo would follow suit and deposit its team two kilometres to the east of Negotin. SH Charlie would drop its team off eight kilometres south of Negotin, about three kilometres east of the farm house.
President Zoran Djindjic and his military advisors suspected possible foreign spies, as some high-level government officials were from Negotin and Bor or knew someone from the two cities. This operation would be of the utmost secrecy and capture the suspected spies and find out their nationality.
At 0636 in the morning, SH A and SH B deposited their teams at their designated drop-off points. SH C dropped its team off at the designated position about four minutes later.
Sergeant Batez waved the Mi-8 off before he crouched down, his AK-74U coming to his shoulder almost instinctively. His eyes traced the AK-74U's stamped receiver to its wooden forward stock then to the protruding silencer... He brought his cheek down to rest on the butt stock and glanced through the weapon's Kobra red-dot sight while simultaneously sliding down the weapon's 'safety', which wasn't much of a safety at all. He scanned his sector before muttering something into a mic strapped to his helmet. He received some muffled responses. His left hand dropped from the AK-74U and waved forward. Out of the corner of his eye he watched as Corporal Savo Zerec moved forward, his AKS-74U firmly pressed against his shoulder, the optical POSP scope pressed to his eye socket. A few metres away was Corporal Aladar Rozic, who carried with him an RPK squad machine gun which hung at his waist, he swung it from side to side as he waivered up to a position. Two more men, Corporal Rebaca and Corporal Savic, ran up in a tight formation, their AKS-74Us at the ready, each one starind down their rifle's barrel.
The sergeant turned his head to junior sergeant Drago Vidic, his executive sergeant. Batez jerked his head and Vidic complied, hopping up and running forward into the dense Yugoslavian woods.
The team slid through the woods, hopping from tree to tree and from bush to bush. Within minutes they could hear the morning noises of the Negotin residents, none of which knew they were coming. Residents of the city had given the military the location of the 'odd people', a building conveniently located near the woods.
Soon enough, the team moved up along the edges of the woods... Sergeant Batez spoke into his mic... "Zerec, Rozic, Rebaca. Move up along west side of house, stay in cover. Vidic, Savic, follow me. We'll move up along east."
Five responses came into his headset, he replied with a quiet "Go." Batez watched as Zerec led his team along the edge of the woods, circumventing the house. Batez turned and nodded to Savic before smoothly moving into the open with fluid movements. As he slowly moved, no one noticed him due to the slowness and fluidity of his movements. The other two followed before setting up positions behind carts, wooden barrels, any cover. Batez spoke into his mic, this time to the second team, which had inserted on the opposite end of Negotin. He affirmed his team was ready for the second team's movement. Batez's team would cover the second team.

The second team quietly slid through the urban setting of Negotin, their AK-74s raised and ready, Kobra's turned on and sighted in. The team halted across the street from the suspected spies home. A minute later and they filtered down the street before moving across and dissolving into the urban landscape again. They emerged near the home and encircled it. One team member near each window. Each soldier pulled out a tear gas grenade and pulled the pin, squeezing the handle before smashing the windows in with their elbows and lobbing the grenades in... Each soldier turned around and brought their AK-74s up to their shoulders firing a few rounds harmlessly into the side of the building. Each soldier than hopped back a few steps before moving to where team one was located. Team one then donned gas masks and quickly moved into position.
Zerec blew out the door lock with his SPAS-12 shotgun and kicked the door in. Batez's team moved in and filtered into the building, finding six men coughing, lying on the ground. The men quickly subdued the 'spies' and handcuffed them, shoving them out the door and into the dirt, a few receiving the butt-stocks of an AK-74 in their faces or backs. One of the soldiers had his boot firmly pressed into the small of the back of one of the prisoners. Batez called in for the URALs and UAZs waiting outside the town to move in and grab the prisoners.
Zerec and his team searched the house while Batez's team secured the prisoners. Numerous silenced assault rifles, explosives, armor, vests, and other military gear were found. However, no nationality is known as of yet.

This same scene repeated itself outside the town where four more men were found in the farmhouse. Numerous weapons were found here as well including pistols, assault rifles, explosives, unmarked uniforms, and anti-tank weapons.

Zoran Djindjic released this statement today:
"To the nations of the world, especially to those who are interested in the developments in Yugoslavia. Today, we successfully apprehended seven foreign spies, all male. They were found with weapons and explosives, their intent was unknown although we believe they were either spies or terrorists hired by a foreign entity to conduct terrorism in the CYS. Our excellent intelligence and special forces services were able to apprehend the suspects before any damage could be wrought.
We demand to know who supported these foreigners. As of now, the suspects are being interrogated by CYS special forces."
