Today in the capitol Lacombeville, over 35,000 people staged a non-violent protest against the mandatory military service of 2 years. The issue has been weighing heavy for sometime at the more senior levels of the government. Early reports say that some 40 citizens were arrested and 4 people were taken to the nearby hospital for treatement of minor injuries. The Police issued a statment: "There are wrong ways and right ways to go about making a political point here and this was the wrong way, further disruptions in the capitol will be handled by the (Mili-Poli) Militant Police". No statement from the Leader of Arkona as of yet. We will keep you informed of any further news as it arrives.
