Invite RP (Ask to play a role below)

Oh yeah, time for another RP, with the insurgency in Libya dying down due to the arabs hating themselves for releasing the virus that killed so many, including many of their own. We are moving right along now and since CM loves to RP Counter-insurgency campaigns, here we go.

I need the roles of

1-Zaire Government (You will greet the white soldiers with open arms, well you will set that as your policy, but some army units might not agree. 300,000 poorly trained peasant soldiers, 500 assorted soviet tanks, 2,000 assorted soviet armored vehicles, 150 assorted fixed wing aircraft)-

2-Zaire Rebel group 1 (This is the strongest rebel group 87,000 militants. you will greet the white soldiers as mercenary thugs brought in by the government to crush your rebellion)-

3-Zaire Rebel group 2 (This rebel group is of decent strength, 31,000 militants. You will greet the white soliders as possible allies against rebel group 1, who you have even more than the government)

4-Zambia Government- Be suspicious at first, but anxious to get the assistance and the prosperity the colonists from Angola are promising.

5-Zambian Insurgent group 1 (Will start out small, grow to 50,000+ in the first month, demands all whites leave zambia)

6-Zambian Army- Unsure what to do, split between obeying the government and fighting for the zambian people.

The white colonial authorities in Angola have decided that the white colonial army under their command along with some of the CM army units in Angola, should begin a liberation campaign in war-torn Zaire (Democratic Republic of the Congo. Formerly Belgian Congo)

The forces in Angola are as follows.

Angolan Garrison:
CM Armed Forces:
1 Rapid Response Airmobile Division
4 Infantry Divisions
1 Parachute Division
20 Reserve Divisions

Note the white colonists in Angola (20 million colonists) have formed an army to help CM defend Angola.

“Imperial Angolan Army Corps”
6 Colonial Infantry Divisions
2 Colonial Armored Divisions
8 Colonial Cavalry Brigades
2 Colonial Mechanized Division
2 Colonial Marine Divisions
2 Colonial Parachute Divisions
16 Colonial Reserve Divisions

The Imperial Angolan Army Corps has slated the following to go into Zambia

The "1st Colonial Angolan Army"
2 Colonial Infantry Divisions
1 Colonial Armored Division
3 Colonial Cavalry Brigades
1 Colonial Mechanized Division
1 Colonial Marine Division
1 Colonial Parachute Division
6 Colonial Reserve Divisions

The 1st Colonial Army is also accompanied by 5,000 Christian Martyrs Brigade paramilitaries and 25,000 paramilitaries from the Angolan Realm of the White Knights of Mississippi.

The Imperial Angolan Army Corps has slated the following to go into Zaire

The "2nd Colonial Angolan Army"
3 Colonial Infantry Divisions
1 Colonial Armored Division
3 Colonial Cavalry Brigades
1 Colonial Mechanized Division
1 Colonial Marine Division
1 Colonial Parachute Division
8 Colonial Reserve Divisions

The 2nd Colonial Angolan Army is also accompanied by 15,000 Christian Martyrs Brigade paramilitaries and 65,000 paramilitaries from the Angolan Realm of the White Knights of Mississippi.

CM Army units in Angola have thus far not been mobilized as it appears that the colonists are taking matters into their own hands and lack authorization from the CM Office of Colonial Affairs and ultimately from the Premier, to launch their liberation campaigns.

The government forces in Zaire offered no resistance because they have largely accepted the promises that the Colonists in Angola have made to "Better Zaire, combat the rebels, and end hunger, and combat AIDS." Thus far, the colonists in Angola have dropped over 100 tons of food and water throughout Zaire and about 50 tons of food and water throughout Zambia.

The colonists maintain that this is not an invasion but rather an attempt to, "Stabilize two never important neighbors who if left to fall apart, could spell disaster for Angola. We must not allow our neighbors to fall into anarchy if we can do something to stop it."

As the 100 T-98 tanks moved across the Angolan/Zairian border, they quickly began to encounter problems. Not resistance from rebels or anything of that sort. Anyway, the rebels wouldn't have any weapons capable of destroying the massive armored behemoths. The problem was that the Zairian roads were wholly inadequate for the 82-ton T-98 tanks. Most of the tanks rapidly became bogged down in the roads that had been turned into seas of mud from the monsoons. The much lighter BMP-3s and Hummers had no problems traversing the dirt roads. The result was that that most of the tanks had only managed to get a few miles into Zaire while the BMPs, trucks, and hummers were all about 20-30 miles in Zaire. The tank crews were beginning to grow hotter and hotter in their tanks as the hot Zairian sun beat down upon them. Most of the crews were now sitting on their tanks waiting for the towing vehicles to tow them out of the mud. They were so massive it required two tank-towing vehicles to tow each tank out of the mud.

The 300 tank crewmen were just sitting around, laughing, joking, smoking, and having a pack of rations or perhaps a drink of water. It was an unusually warm day for Zaire, and the many of the crews had removed their shirts.

They kept their guard up though, MP5A3s close at hand. Ever vigilant should there happen to be rebels in the area.

Colonial forces have begun to pull back into Angola after their cross border raids met with incredible success. There had been over 75,000 insurgents along the border of Zaire and Angola and the Angola and Zambia. They had been providing supplies to insurgents inside Angola.

Operation Stability Restoration was declared a huge success. Over 19,000 enemy insurgents were killed and over 100,000 weapons captured or destroyed.

But now the Colonial units were crossing back into Angola, their work was done.

The tanks were being towed out of Zaire and back into Angola.

Most of the peasants were grateful that the colonial forces from Angola destroyed the insurgent armies that had been forcing the farmers and peasants to feed and shelter them. The peasants were finally free of paying tolls and taxes to the guerillas.

Colonists in Angola were also happy, the anti-white rebel movement had been dealt a severe blow. The black peasant were happy, everybody except the insurgents was happy. All in all, it was a good day.

I own Libya. Don't worry, I'll make sure they don't insult anybody.

OOC: I have a real life activist organization called MARZULLO. I never ran a group before, so it sucks heh. But every other group for people of italiano decent really sucks out there. I have a very deep ideology. The groups out there aren't too deep, just complain about sterotypes is as far as i've seen them go.

I checked the "Earth II" claims thread.

Anyway, it was just a border raid against guerillas.

I never made the claim officially(other than in one of the first land claim threads in the old forum, which was like ages ago), so I don't really mind. After all, what's wrong in making an alternate reality if it makes for interesting roleplay?
