Years ago, Layartebian colonists set up a colony in the northeastern Canadian land of Labrador. Just today, the Emperor of Layarteb has announced its annexation into the Empire and its status as Commonwealth of the Empire of Layarteb. A vote conducted just two weeks prior was 70% in favor of commonwealth status, 28% against, and 2% independence. Never before has the Empire of Layarteb grew with such peaceful purposes.
