PAYTON CLASS BATTLECRUISER

OVERVIEW: This is the 1st trimarian battle-cruiser developed by IDF. It has 6 good sized guns, but still requires on it's VLS system to deliver missiles and the bulk of the offensive and defensive capabilities. It has ASW capabilities and is a good flag of an SAG. It it affordable for most nations to obtain. It has fairly good armor, but not as much as a battleship. It can take a good number of hits due to the outer hulls.

shaft horse power: 280,000 SHP spread across 3 shafts.
displacement: 32,500 tons full, 29,575 tons standard.
crew: 856 men, plus 110 marines

ARMAMENTS
GUNS: 6 x 10 in guns on 3 double turrets; 12 x 20 mm Phalanx vulcan II CIWS
MISSILES: 312 VLS cells in 2 main groups and 2 auxiliary groups beside superstructure. Each cell can carry US and Russian missiles along with custom missiles and one from other nations. 1 missile per cell, except for ESSMs where 4 can be in 1 cell
8 Rolling Airframe Missile launchers with 10 missiles in each launch pod.
TORPEDOES: 6 x 21 in tubes in 2 triple mounts. Storage for 28 torpedoes. 8 ASROC torpedoes in single launcher, reloads available.

RADAR:
AEGIS III system for Air Search and Fire control with RCA SPY-2F air-search and fire control
Fire control2: 4 Raytheon RCA SPG-65C
Surface Search: Norden SPS-67(V)7
Navigation: Raytheion SPS-64(V)15

SONAR:
Gould/Raytheon/GE SQQ-94(V)3; combines SQS-54D, bow mounted active search/attack with SQR-21E passive towed array, additional SQQ-91(V)10

AIRCRAFTB]: 10 helos can be stored in dual level hangar with lower deck space connected to upper flight deck hangar space by concealed elevator 1st used in Guillen class. Up to 7 VTOLs can be placed instead of Helos if needed.

[b]SPECIAL FEATURE
The main feature is a 1st in the IDF fleet and to be added to Guillen class vessels, double doored VLS. This allows below deck magazines to reload VLS cells after launch with another missile. This is done mainly by machines under each large block of cells, it only is in the 2 primary groups and not the auxiliary groups meaning that 218 of the cells have this and the rest don't.

110 marines are always aboard, you can remove some missile cells and make more storage or convert it into a troop transport for a few 1,000

You should put a better CIWS system on than the Phalynx, 30mm goalkeeper or 35mm Millineum Gun are better, personally i use the Millineum Gun.

Altogether this is a lot like my Aberdeen class Assault cruiser. (though i use 8" guns and MLRS on that)

Nicely done. and there is not one god-modding thing about it.
