The lack of a covert suppression weapon has long hurt special forces' ability to take on numerically superior enemies.

Now, the niche of covert machinegun has been filled. The Silent Suppression Weapon, or SSW, gives covert troops the ability to pin down and neutralize an enemy.

The near-completely silent SSW often causes the enemy to panic as bullets begin striking his position. Thanks to a non-existent muzzle flash, opposing forces are left completely in the dark as to the location of the gunner.

The SSW fires the SC-09 SSPC (Subsonic Special-Purpose Cartridge), which eliminates the supersonic report of regular rifles.

An Active Integral Suppressor system further dampens noise and explosive flash by providing a larger volume for gas escape and cooling. The SSW is also internally suppressed, having a long-stroke piston which draws and holds any internal gas byproducts out of the chamber milliseconds after firing, further muffling noise.

The SSW is a gas-operated, striker-fired, selective-fire weapon. It utilizes a six-lug rotating bolt with a solid steel-machined reciever.

Jangle- that comes to 12,784,000,000 with 200 per rifle bulk discount. A significant portion of that order will have to be put on backorder- that's a lot of rifles.

The round is quite heavy, and if you make the round supersonic it's gonna make a lot of noise.

Even while subsonic, the SSW can defeat most modern body armors at 400 meters or more.

Either way, ten rifles will be shipped on money reciept.

If the gun is subsonic, doesn't it lose killing power against targets with body armor? I know the MP5SD had problems with penetrating body armor because of its subsonic shot. Also, why the hell would you need a 10x scope for a MG? The recoil would cause it to bounce around everywhere.

Tyrandis- It works on a similar principle to FN's 5.7mm round. Yes, it's a subsonic round, but it has a lot of mass. It has a hardened steel core and the weight gives it a lot of momentum, despite its subsonic velocity.
And if you read the specs, it's a FOUR-POWER PSO-1 scope. :)
