In the early evening hours,Off the coast of Equador..the Soviet Fleet which was waiting for the command to attack was given the order.As soon as the order was given,The massive light show began.

As-19 KOALA Modified Cruise Missiles launched into the skies towards the Equador coast line.They were mostly aimed at supposed coastal defenses and fortifications on the beach.Some Missiles,However,were launched inland towards Military bases and oil depots.A total of 100 Missiles were launched

After the cruise missile strike,5 Squadrons of MiG-29K Fighter-Bombers launched from there perspective carriers.Most of the planes were equipped with Air-To-Ground Missiles..while some were equipped with Guided Bombs and Cluster Munitions.As the planes flew over the beach they encountered heavy Anti-Aircraft Gunfire and some planes were even hit but the planes still mananged to finish there assigned mission.

The Soviet Marines began to depart there ships and get into landing craft.A large number of troops would land at 4 Strategic Spots in which they would finally make it to the capital.

The Airstrikes on the coast-line and inland continued as Soviet Landing Aircraft neared the beaches...and so it began..the invasion

Ivan Rogav landing ships rolled up on the shore and the doors opened..Soviet Troops ran out and began to take positions under somewhat light to moderate enemy fire.The sand splattered all around was Artillery Shells and bullets exploded against them..but the Soviet Forces held positions

"Who would've thought we'd be facing this..Radio in Air-Support!"

Overhead,A lone MiG-29K unleased its payload of Cluster-Munitions and the resistance just..seemed to stop

As time passed,The Big guns were pulled onto the beach..BTR-90s and BMP-3s as well as Howitzers etc.The surrounding area was shelled to elimate all enemy positions..and Soviet Motorized Divisions began to move forward quickly.

Losses:
3 Wounded Troops
4 Dead

With the Coastal Areas of Jipipapa,Manta,Muisne Esmeraldas and Valdez secured by Marines from there massive landings on multiple fronts the Motorized Divisions to begin there massive push.

Motorized Rifle Divisions began there massive push into PortoVeijo and BalZar.They recieved to no resistance and the little they did was quickly crushed by Soviet Forces.There were some instances of Street to Street fighting but with the superior training of Soviet Troops..the fighting was always in there favor

3 Motorized Rifle Divisions headed for the Equador Capital of Quinto to secure the surrounding areas and to prepare for the final assault on the capital.Airborne Troops began to land at Otavolo and San Gabriel

5 Wounded

The Soviet Airborne Troops recieved heavy resistance as they landed and the fighting turned into House to House fighting.Anything became protection and Soviet Troops took cover behind cars or collapsed buildings

Just as the Soldier turned to look,a massive explosion took place killing 2 Soldiers

Overhead,2 Su-33s equipped with guided-Rockets bombed the buildings.MiG-29Ks also flew overhead dropping cluster munitions

Meanwhile in other parts of the country,Enemy troop surrenders were high as the Ecuador Army or militia began to surrender in droves.

Which Equador is this? What claims? Get on AIM :p

Soviet Troops continued to advance at a regular pace.Small gunfights were reported but nothing major as it seems Air-Strikes had wiped out all opposition

Meanwhile,Soviet Troops began shelling the Capital of Equador which was Quinto.30 Grad MLRS and Howitzers hammered the area.3 Soviet Motorized Rifle Divisions then entered the city and headed straight for the capital.

Fighting was fierce as Soviet Forces took cover behind tanks and BMP-3s.Airsupport was quickly called into the area..MIG-29Ks bombed the area giving ground troops air cover as they progressed.

T-80UM7 Tanks shelled buildings causing them to collapse..this however worked to enemy Militias advantage for they were able to sneak up upon Soviet Forces in the cover of dust

Soviet Tanks and troops were less than 4 blocks away from the capital building

2 BMP-3s

I have a few OOC questions:

Where did this fleet come from?

Why didn't anyone notice the fleet steaming through the Pacific to take up positions along the western coast of South America?

What is the reason for this action?

Is there a previous thread that covers all of these questions? If so, why is there no link to it?

Doesn't Ruhr control Ecuador?
