Since we are well aware that any attempt to aid NWV against the Christian Martyrs' Brigade will result in reprisal attacks, the borders of DPUO are now closed, effective immediately, to any nation or product from any nation not allied with us and known not to back terrorism in any way. Any persons attempting violating the border will be shot on sight. Ports are also closed on the same conditions as the borders. All commercial aircraft will be escorted to and from their destinations by military aircraft, and all inbound cargo will be checked extremely thoroughly, i.e. any machines totally dismantled, grain shipmens checked, basically anything packed opened, dismantled, analysed, and sent to its' destination. I imagine your citizens don't take all that many vacations.
Our typical citizen takes about 20-30 days of vacation per year. Of which about 10 will be sent in other parts of the territory they are in. And the rest are typically spent in another CM territory or in another land.
We have a large commercial air business.
We are just very strict about who we let in and out of our nation.

Foreigners are only allowed into ITD if a citizen vouches for them and pays a fee of 100 credits. Only 1/10th the population are citizens because citizens must descend from the 9th tribe (of which our Emperor is the head of). Non-citizens must request travel permissions 3 months prior, and must then pay a fee of 150 credits.
Border guards are permitted to search non-citizens at anytime, but must attain permission if they wish to search citizens. Any civilian may join the armed forces, but only citizens may join our special government force.
I.D. consists of barcodes and retinal scans. Citizens are given cards to carry; non-citizens have microchips inplanted, which contain their vital information.
As you can imagine, travel is very lucrative to the nation.

When news of the air movements of Spetznatz to the DPUO embassies in Angola, Libya, and Mississippian Egypt arrived in the colonies, the people took up arms. 80,000 armed white gunmen have surrounded the DPUO embassy in Tripoli and were rumored to be readying to storm it.
Many of the citizens were wearing CMB uniforms. There were also about 40 T-98 tanks in positions around the embassy.
The colonial government in Libya has declared, "We will not interfere in the rights of our people to peacefully assemble."
CM acting Premier Joseph Mladic declared, "It shall be the policy of this nation to regard any missile, launched from DPUO or any of its client states against any CM possession or ally, as an attack, by DPUO upon Mississippi herself. Requiring a full retaliatory response."
The colonial government in Angola have deployed soldiers and troops in a perimeter around the DPUO embassy and have declared nobody may bring a weapon within 1/2 mile of the embassy.
The colonial government in Mississippian Egypt has deployed tanks around the DPUO embassy and enacted a "No-go" zone around the DPUO embassy. Declaring the DPUO Embassy and 1/4 mile around it as off-limits to anybody who has a weapon.
Governor-General Westcott of Libya has refused to order the Colonial Armed Forces or the police to disperse the gunmen surrounding the DPUO embassy. CM Army High Command has also yet to issue orders to the CM Army garrison of Libya to do anything about the gunmen.

General Westcott (IF you are really that rank; it seems more likely you could barely make corporal), please bear in mind that if we wish to keep our people safe we are certainly able to do it, and neither you nor your pathetic excuse for a colonial military force can do a damned thing about it. If our people are not safe within 36 hours you will most certainly regret your inaction, as will you regret your nation's inability to stay out of the affairs of those it deems "inferior." You should consider yourselves fortunate that we did not employ chemicals or WP upon your paratroops, and that we did not supply the enemy with truly advanced weaponry for his use. You should equally consider yourself fortunate that we have not yet decided to let our military flex its' muscle against you, which I am told much of it is itching to do. Do not raise our wrath, Westcott.
Mr. Mladic, you will make sure our people are safe and you WILL cease your blatant support for these terrorists. Westcott's reply, "I worked tirelessly to get to where I am today. I have earned the rank of Governor-General. And I will NOT! Standby and allow communist trash to insult me. It is time we end you once and for all. Even if it means we too must die, for we will be with God today, and you will be in hell. God will protect us and grant us eternal life. God Is Great!"
Satellites revealed that Governor Westcott ordered all B-52s to "Code H" (They will leave their bases in Libya and then head for their targets in DPUO, they will not break radio silence and will not accept any message unless it is preceded by a code. He also ordered the Libyan Air Force to fly cover for the B-52s
Joseph Mladic was watching a screen showing bomber movements. He spit his wine out and said, "What the hell is going on! I didn't order a nuclear strike, God no! Damnit, recall those bombers now!" He was told that they were unable to raise the bombers; they didn't know the code that would have to precede the message.
Governor Westcott addressed the entire colonial military and put them off full alert. He declared, "The enemy will be coming at us shortly, they will likely be Spetznatz, wearing CM Army uniforms and speaking perfect English with Mississippian accents. Do not be swayed by their deceitful tricks. Shoot anybody who isn't in your own unit. Trust nobody!"
Mladic issues orders that all CM Army units in Libya should make it their goal to get to the Central Colonial Command and apprehend Governor Westcott.
Westcott was in his office talking to an aide. The aide said, "Sir, is it really wise to be running such exercises that will take our bombers into the heart of DPUO?"
Westcott replied, "Oh! This is no exercise! This is the end! It's over! It's over! God Is Great! It's over! God's side wins!" He started to laugh uncontrollably. "God Is Great! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The aide said, "Why surely general you can't be serious. Can you?"
The general just kept repeating, "God Is Great! God Is Great! God Is Great! It's over! It's over! No more deals with the reds! God Is Great! It's over!"
Occ- In the event you didn't realize it, Governor-General Westcott is quite insane.
Mladic looked at the screen, about 12 hours until the bombers got to their targets.
He picked up the phone, "Get me the leader of DPUO, it's an emergency."
At about that same time the DPUO leader had received word that 50 B-52s had left their bases in Libya and then had been lost bit they appeared to have been heading for DPUO.
Mladic was on the line with the DPUO leader, "Hello, there's a bit of a problem. Governor Westcott has done something you might find funny. Well probably not. Well what he's done see, is he's ordered Libya into full lock-down, he's ordered all colonial soldiers to consider anybody not a colonial soldier as an enemy, but that's not all. He's ordered 50 B-52s to hit targets in your nation. I'd like to attempt to raise the bombers on radio. I suggest we try that for a few hours, if then it doesn't work, we'll help you shoot the bombers down."
In the CM Air Command Mississippi and the CM Air Command Libya, the officers were desperately going through every possible combination that could be the three letter code needed to precede the message needing to be sent to recall the bombers.
CM air units in Egypt were ordered to intercept the bombers and order them to turn back or else. 200 F-16s and 50 MiG-31s took off from bases in Egypt to move rapidly to intercept the 50 B-52s.
Governor-General John Stahlecker of Mississippian Egypt attempted to phone Westcott but nobody answered. He decided to drop the 1st Egytpian Colonial Parachute Brigade at Central Colonial Command about 12 miles outside of Tripoli.
DPUO satellites detected C-130s leaving Egypt headed for Libya.
Occ- DPUO, how is this for a cold war style standoff? If we resolve it properly, it would make us on much friendlier terms, yes?

All around the nation, the Air Force went beserk. SAM batteries and control radars lit off, fighters and interceptors moved to CAPs. A Division (n.b. that's 10 regiments, or 240 aircraft) of MiG-31M2s raced out toward the incoming bombers, their pilots sweating, the R-37B missiles beneath them gleaming like new. Pursued by Tu-22M7Ps jammer aircraft, the MiGs closed hard on their targets, illuminating and locking up the bombers at extreme range. Firing orders would be necessary until the bombers crossed the damger line, from which they were now 190 Km away.

"Control, targets are moving low. No loss yet." The MiG-31M2 was equipped with the powerful Flash Dance-II look-down/shoot-down radar, designed specifically to catch aircraft flying tow to evade radar. Such a large target as a B-52 was easy for them to detect. 24 of the MiGs pulled out of their cruising turns and split to either side of the bombers, their radars maintaining lock without difficulty despite the low altitude. SBI-16 could track cruise missiles; a B-52 was easy. Meanwhile SSBNs began to cruise upward slowly to their launch depths. ICBMs were made ready in their silos.
"You have 100 minutes, Mladic."

Outside the base the parachute units were attempting to fight their way into the base. They had used their OICW 20mm grenades to blast more of the defenders back into the buildings. They were rapidly advancing.
Mladic said to the DPUO leader, "We'll need far more than 100 minutes. It's almost 9 hours until they reach their targets. We need more time than 100 minutes."
A conference of generals was arguing in a bunker 800 feet down about 24 miles outside of Jackson City.
(General 1) "If those bombs hit them, they're going to fire at us and wipe us out. If we strike now, we can get a large number of their missiles and submarines neutralized before they know what hit them!"
(General 2) "Are you mad? We can resolve this with diplomacy!"
(General 3) "Before it's too late, shoot down the B-52s, so a few people die, it's better than a nuclear war."
