Probe sent to Sedna

Today Whittier has dispatched a probe to the newly found planet of Sedna, named after an Inuit goddess by American scientists.
The probe is expected to reach Sedna in 7 years.
The planet is 89 AU's from earth and is half the size of earths moon.
The planet has a large and eccentric orbit around the sun.
The planet is believed to be proof that another star passed by earth billions of years ago.
The launch cost 20 billion.
