If you want something I don't have, ask me and I'll try to get it for you
Note: My list of weapons is ever-expanding, so check in often :)
My god! It's full of weapon choices!

A most interesting vessel. Surely this must be among the most powerful near-future tech ships in existence. Unfortunately, my nation is still small, and as such can't afford to purchase a vessel of this size. We also lack docks large enough to service a Terracoste. In a few decades* (*NS of course!) we may look into purchasing one as a flagship for our new armada, pehaps mounting several railguns.

You get this ship free, since you have helped me defeat QUITE the overwhelming foe of whats-his-face. And since I still haven't given you back your garden gnome. Also, Akaton, I am glad to see you are a prospective buyer. I am also glad to see you aren't being foolish and just randomly buying it, like most people do.
I am very much interested in your product but before i buy anything I would like to know what exactly some of these weapons do. For instance, the difference between a lightning gun and a tesla cannon.

They're basically the same, however the Lightning Gun is much bigger and I didn't know what else to call it. Also, due to it's size it sends out multiple beams of electricity, which then continue to jump to nearby targets, unlike the Tesla Cannon, which only has one beam which continues to jump. The heavy tesla cannon is stronger. The Ion cannon deal a small amount of electrical damage, but is mainly used to shut down electrical equiptment. A well placed shot at a power plant, for example, could be devestating. Anything else you want to know about?

Good day!
Noretum is interested in these fine battlecraft but unfortunatly is too small at the moment to finance one. The cost of the Craft is 5 times our GDP! As well as the fact that we are currently rearming our military and police force with the latest H&K G36 assult rifles as well as Para P14 - 45 hand guns but maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement? Noretum has a large ammount of room, inexpensive land, and many skilled workers but lacks big buisness to expand our economy. I propose that part of the terracoste be built in Noretum in brand new state of the art plants. In return for being built there my nation will have a large increase in the economy and you will recive cheap labour and land to build the terracoste.

I would like a Description of the following weapons (not necessarily detailed, just what they do and about how much damage they deal):
Burst Lasers
Small Prism Cannons
Small Tesla Cannons
Hornet 10-missle launchers
10 gauge shotguns
Heavy Lasers
Large Prism Cannon
Large Tesla Cannon
Particle Wave Cannon
Gargantuan Prism Cannon
Jangle Jangle Ridge
31-07-2004, 04:06
Burst lasers are, obviously, lasers. They slice through thin metal with ease, and it heats up the target on contact quite nicely.
Prism cannons are lasers sent into a silvered concentrating prism and are then shot from the end. It's range is long, and is quite devestating. With each size, it gets a longer range and it gets much stronger. The largest can slice through anything from miles away.
Tesla cannons are electrical weapons, that deliver huge shocks and leap form target to target.
Hornets are tiny, seeker missiles, launched in groups, with a small C-4 charge in the tip.
The ten gauge shotguns are more like cannons filled with shot. This 'gauge' is a different meassure than the contemporary, and is more a length measurement just under an inch. Like the S-11's, it uses a metallic mix, turned to plasma by electromagnetic pulses, to violently release the shot. This is an EXTREMELY dangerous weapon, but must be used up close.
Heavy lasers are a beefed up version of the pulse lasers, which can be used to melt tank barrels, due to the heat. These are more used for splash damage than slicing damage.
A particle wave cannon is a weapon that releases a huge blast of heat and light energy, along with extremely high speed atoms, which makes a fierce combo. The heat and light weakens the target, if not destroying it, and then the particles rip throught the target like thousands of bullets. And due to the thousands of particles breaking the sound barrier, it creates a massive sonic boom, knocking into anything in from of the ship with devestating strength. Perfect for destroying anything you don't like.

That made me look stupid. 03. January 03. Anyways, it's future tech, but near future tech. Also, electromagnets CAN hold things up, it's all a matter of alligning them, and I need a lot of ballast in the ship so it won't flip. Also, they need to have the right polarity. One wrong magnet and your dead. You'd spin into the ground. It would have to very precise. But it could work. And it has set engines, using Harrier-like technology. So you could claim it in the 2000-2100 bracket. Aside from some of the weapons. It is, in fact, about as plausible as Soviet Block's little 11's are. My mechs, which most people consider LESS technologically advanced, are, truthfully, more so. This is just on a much large scale. This would for space tech with a few modifications, so it really fits into any time period. If you tried, you could even mod it into a fantasy timeline.

People have made maglev trains, but they only hover a few centimetres and they need soft iron rails below to act as electromagnets polarised opposite to the EMs on the train. You cant make an EM powerful enough to repel against the earth's core, as if you pumped enough current through it you would melt whatever was conducting it. It's fantasy but people would probably accept it as future tech.

Never did. I just made it more obvious. Partially because some bastard got mad about me having Terracostes when he made up a metal that didn't exist, had the strength of titanium, deafened all sounds, and was completely natural. He actually said, "Well, you just accept Terracostes and Mechs, but you get mad at me because I think up some stupid metal!" And no one knew what the hell a Terracoste was, and so some guy gave a link to it. Anyway, sorry about the whole "Giant 9 volts" thing. I was having a bad day. Canceled trip to King's Dominion... curse you rain, curse you. What I do is I get extremely hot materials, such as lava, and molten metals, and use the kinetic energy of the shaking shells to power energy to the ship. This freezes the material, so it has to be reheated. We've been experimenting with doing this with plasma, but in order to properly shield it against the heat, the probes can't really draw heat from the plasma, so it hasn't worked yet.
