Today, at approximately noon, a Terror group called Citizens Razing TFU has declared that it has seized 30 nuclear warheads, all with yields exceeding 10,000 megatons. They declare that they wish no harm on Crazed Marines or allies, bu they intend to glass The Fedral Union for their crimes in the last war while noting the fact that CM never signed a peace treaty ending their previous war with TFU. While the CM government has not made an offical response, most people believe that there will be no action against these purpotrators as long as TFU is their only target.

10,000 Megatons? The USSR didn't have that much. And they were older than your. 10,000 megatons is a Space-tech continent destroyer, if not planet destroyer.

OOC: Firstly Shwetaprabhakar, yes he is from the future as he posted. Secondly, while I agree that 10,000 megatons is a lot, someone could have simply put this instead of the flaming that has occurred here. Allow Crazed Marines to edit the post instead, and continue with the RP. Without the unreasonable nuclear numbers this is actually a decent RP. So continue with the RP instead of flaming spam.

OOC:no tonnage amount is unfeasable with fusion, just because it hasn't been detonated doesn't mean it doesn't work. The USA still has a few 500 mt nukes in service now. I don't follow the thirdgeek stuff because it's a GUIDE, it's FREEFORM meaning that I CHOOSE what happens to me!
My current NS year is 2275, soon I'll post how I've advanced so far in so little time. I might edit to 1000 mt, but I need that devistation in order for the RP to work...and please don't tell TFU what's there before it hits him. I'm trying to spark another war because I wasn't able to do much against him using a quantam virus the last time.

Terror group IC: A man walks into a Cantina whee a large amount of ship pilots and announces, "I need a fast ship, a captain who's willing to take chances, and no questions. I'm willing to pay up front, in cash." This caused the whole cantina to stop dead in its tracks and everyone to look. The patrons knew that this was trouble in its worst form. It either meant smuggling or murder, and nobody wanted any of that after the recent scare with the nukes because authorities were sweeping every house in search for those nukes. One lone character approached the man and said, "I don't know how wise it is, but I need some money to keep my ship, the Eagle of Dawn, so I'll buy you a drink and we talk abput the bullets you pay me for this."

They talked for over half an hour before the issue of destination came up. The captain, Davik Bendgar, asked, "Where do I need to drop off you and your packages?'
"Actually I just need you to take me and a few of my items of murchandise to orbit TFU so I can showcase CM engineering right after the restriction on travel lifts."
"Ok, how much?"
"75,000 USD for the whole trip, and I'll give you 5,000 more upon completion." As the stranger is saying this, he opens a briefcase full of bullets, the national currency.
"WOW! I'll do it, I'll fill out the flight plan and write in that I won't arrive untill the quarrantine is lifted. We can leave by noon tommorow. I'm at dock 23."
"I'll see you there, with 3 bags and 2 friends."

OOC:I don't uselive ammo as my money, its just a piece of paper that has the picture of a bullet whose size changes with the denomination, and it says, "Lest we forget those who gave their lives for us." The Bullet is usually worth 1.5 USD

IC terrorist: Three men cam to dock 23 the next day, each carrying a semi-large, aluminum briefcase. before the men started to board, the briefcases started to beep.
"Shoot, they're reactivated the loacter chips. We knew they would, and planned for this. We hoped we wouldn't have to, but we have to remove the cards." murmured the man from the previous day, presumably the leader.
"But won't that turn the heavy-element fusion device into a fission device?" replied a second man.
"Yes, but we have no choice, even though it will reduce it from 10,000 mts to 1,000 mts, it will do the job if we do ours."
The men boarded the ship, and armed troops entered the launch bay, frantically trying to stop the ship's launch. They even fired at the ship, but to no avail, for it had lifted off and was out of range.

IC Gov't: "Squad 1 to CP, we have located the nukes. We were unable to recover them because the ship had lifted off and has already reached orbit."
*back at the command post*
"Sir, squad 1 is reporting!"
"Play it!" screamed an anxious general.
"Squad 1 to CP, we have located the nukes. We were unable to recover them because the ship had lifted off and has already reached orbit."
The general thought for a moment and said, "Squad 1, you've broken up, repeat."
"General?" shouted a techie, "That'll give them enough time for hypers...nevermind..."
In this delay, the terrorist ship had already reached hyprspace, and the subspace communications to TFU were mysteriously "down". The space fleets were either in dock, on maneuvers, to/from combat, or their communications were also "down". It appears that the Terrorists had escaped.

Terrorist IC: "Well, looks like we're lightyears ahead of them, now you can sit back and relax. They'll never catch us because of our oversized engines." The three men were taking the locator cards from the nukes and rigging them to explode when a switch was thrown.
"What did I get myself into?'

IC Gov't:
"How did we let them get out of our grasp? We had them, then they escaped into hyperspace. Heads will roll for this." screamed the Senate Oversite committe's chairperson, Jon Roxeanne, a Communist/Liberal from the North-east portion of CM.
"Calm down, it was a freak occurence, we were just a few seconds too slow. We couldn't have helped that it was the protection ship's communications diagnostics when they choose to move." shouted Senator Meade, a Conservative from the Southern state of New Alabama, "Its not the Government's fault that they escaped, it's the terrorist's fault for doing this. We should punish these traitors."
"Why don't we contact TFU via subspace communications? We could warn them about the possible attack before it happens?" argued a Enivramentalist from North Hamshire.
"That wouldn't be possible, They're probably there by now! We're still at war with them. We declared war, but never signed a treaty ending it. They are still the enemy! Let them get what they deserve!" argued a Militarist from the West.

The oversite committe voted on the action of no action, and let events turn out as they may.

CMN News Flash:
1353 hours Zulu
The Government has announced that 27 of the warheads have been recovered in a lightning raid this morning from a terrorist safehouse. Details are sketchy at the moment, but it is confirmed that 27 of the warheads have been recovered and 67 terrorists are dead. We will keep you informed when we know more.

Before the Senator could leave his home, a SWAT team burst int his home, executing him before he knew what happened. They leave a note, cut from magazines that said, "Sic semper traditoris!"

OOC: Not a real SWAT team, a CRTFU made one.

Government news conference:
The Secretary of Justice stepped to the podium and announced, "My fellow Marines. Today we have apprehended over 2000 terror suspects, and killed 127 more while recovering 27 nuclear warheads. We still have 3 warheads on the loose, and maybe a few terrorists. We shall only execute the true terrorists, be sure, but we may also give a plea bargain to anyone who knows where the other 3 warheads are. That is all for now."

*one week passed*

"Are you sure the target is not TFU? That makes no sense!" screamed the Secretary
"Yes sir! They plan to sell the designs on the black market, and maybe TFU."
"We'll look into that. But I, personally don't believe it. Order every convicted terrorist executed in the Square at high noon."
"Yes sir."

Seriously, if this was done without working it out first with TFU then it's a joke... I mean you can do it without OOC cooperation from the nation if your RP an attempt to take the weapons first (and give TFU the chance to RP his own defences) instead of just claiming WMD for such an organisation...

OOC: hey TFU, I sent you a warning. be grateful you got that. I'm going to try to get past your defences, but not necessaruly succeed. I just want to make a good RP, but I don't want godmodding......I asked you here to defend and redeem yourself.

IC Government: 1500 terrorist were placed in a giant pile of wood in the town square. Squads of Marines poured napalm all over the pile of wood. After about 30 minutes of adding napalm, the Marines stopped. A torch was lit and a Captain held it.
A judge proclaimed, "For crimes against the nation, and the theft of weapons of mass destruction, the Armed Republic of Crazed Marines sentences you to death by means of burning. May God have mercy on your souls. Executioner, do your duty."
With that, the Captain threw the torch on the wood pile, starting the bonfire and killing all of the terrorists within 2 minutes.

These aren't stupid terrorists here. They would know enough to shield the weapons from sensors. Hell, they could just say that their ship is carrying a shipment of sensitive medical equipment for testing inside Federal Hospitals.

IC Terrorist: "Change course! We need to go towards New Exodus!" screamed the terror leader.
"I thought we were going to attack TFU!" shouted one of his men.
"Yes, we were. We're now going to sell the weapons because I figure that TFU's been warned by now. I sense that there was a traitor in our midst who betrayed us. Captain! Stop the ship and change course for New Exodus."
"What? Ok... New course set in, and we're in warp."

The ship travels for a few days and then hits New Exodus. The men claim to be refugees from TFU and are admitted in. The men then go to a downtown district in New Exodus.

"Have you brought the weapons?" asks a man from the shadows, with a rather raspy voice.
"Yes, did you bring the money?" says the terror leader.
"Yes, show me the weaps." Both men open up their briefcases, one revealing millions in CM currency, the other nukes.
"Good, how's your cover story of hitting TFU?"
"Last I heard, it was good."
"Well, they killed 1500 of your men and are on your tail."
"Shoot! We need to go!"
The men exchange items and leave. The man who bought the nukes walks towards a spacedock on the other end of New Exodus, while the terrorists go to their ship.

The terrosists enter the ship and leave New Exodus for a CM colony, but as they get 1000 miles from New Exodus, the ship explodes, killing everyone.

IC Gov't: "That was the easiest assignment ever." proclaimed the undercover agent in charge of recovering the nukes. "I just hand them the fake money, with plastic explosives in the briefcase and the auto detonator kills them when they leave." He walks back to the CM embassy and proclaims to the Ambassador, "One comfirmed cell down, one cell to go."

IC Gov't: The agent goes over to the viewscreen, "Mr. President. The nukes have been recovered, the terrorists eliminated, and I am personally escorting the packages on a shuttle back home."
The President responded, "Very good, I guess I'll have to get you a drink when you get home."

The agent leaves, with a security detail, for the spaceport and gets on a government shutle. Right before they reach warp, they are attacked and destroyed. A spacewalker retrieves the nukes and walks back into his ship, which is disguised to look of TFU make.

OOC: Hmm.. This is one thing I hate about the nuclear usage in NS. Fascist Confederacy is the continuation of Der Auftrag, since it was deleted during my absence. And I've reserved the right to claim all technologies that Der Auftrag had, even though FC seems to be a young nation, its just a continuim. When I was Der Auftrag, DA had a A.N.B. (Advance NEUTRON Ballistic) within two RL weeks. And like many stated there before, the main reason people even acknowleged that it was alright, was the roleplaying of the incident. I believe it doesn't or shouldn't nessicarly matter how old your nation is, or the populace of your nation in most cases; Just so long as you RP the incident/attack/test/etc. exceptionally well. Okay, I'm done ranting. :D

You know, if Der Auftrag wasn't deleted deliberately (due to spam, flaming, etc.) you can bring it back by asking the mods via the getting help page. IIRC, you just tell them you want the nation to be resurected.

Yay, a fellow Stargate fan. LOL. Yes, Naquadria would be that powerful, maybe more, remember when it almost destroyed Kewlonia? I suggest what ever country these are aimed at, take EXTREME precautions.

BTW: It is a little bit of a godmod to have something SOOO powerful.

not really. It took me MONTHS of RL time to make this, but it was made easier when we discovered large amounts of Naquadah to be mined in our country, as well as discovering how to make Naquadriah. We use Naquadah so we do not destroy entire worlds with just the blast, even though it may destroy a contintent or two. Mind you, its TFU we're talking about here, so I really don't care.

"Mr. President. It appears that a TFU ship destroyed the ship carrying the nukes. Along with the attack upon Siesatia, we have no option but to renew out war with TFU." said the Secretary of War Rumsfelt.
"Any survivors?"
"One sir. The pilot, your son, was recovered yesterday by New Exodus's space police."
"Thank God! Send Mike a nice golden fruit bowl for that. I owe him a drink."
"What about TFU, sir?"
"We have no choice but to pass a resolution thru Congress asking for a re-declaration of war on TFU. Make it happen."
"Of course."

"We have no choice BUT to renew our declaration of war against TFU! They almost killed our beloved leader's son! They stole our nuke technology! WE MUST PROTECT OUR TECHNOLOGY AND BORDERS!" screamed Senator Hughes, of New Alabama.
"TFU may or may not have destroyed that ship. We don't know. All we have is a sketchy description of the ship from the son of a man who wants war with TFU. I move that we not only investigate the incident, but we also impeach the President for wrongdoing in this nuke scare."

Congress woted 299 to 1 in favor of renewing the declaration of war.
