For Immediate Release: 28/07/04
Under the enlightened leadership of Comrade President Kadeer Guevara, the government of Chemerica has taken complete control of the export and import industry. All imports and exports from Chemerica must be approved by the Ministry of Finance from 29/07/04.
By taking control of both the import and export industry, we believe we can better serve the people of Chemerica by importing and distrubuting required goods for a price far cheaper than previous. With our control of the export industry, we can make sure that needed goods and raw materials are not exported when they are needed here at home.
From midnight, Chimerican time, on 29/07/04, all contracts to import and export goods are hereby cancelled. New contracts and orders can be provided to the National Board of Exportation and Importation which will then process it and then forward it to the Ministry of Finance for final approval.
