People of Lasatania! We bring you now these first pictures of the missile developed by the State Research Facility in Prokayevorta. The LAS-SS1, Slapstick, is a single warhead, ICBM with a 450kt warhead, capable of striking targets within a 10,000km radius. It finally delivers much needed security to our great nation. Although now a nuclear power, Party doctrine prevents us from using such a weapon in an aggressive manner. Rather it shall be used to deter potentially larger nations from impeding in the progress of Revolutionary Socialism in this nation!

People of Lasatania, Party Members, people of the world. I stand before you to announce that our Great Nation has finally acquired nuclear weponary and that we shall not hesitate to use it in our defence. However, I stand before you now to give assurance that we shall not act first in a nuclear exchange. Instead we shall consider it a weapon of last resort.
To this end, I announce the formation of a new branch of our armed forces - The Revolutionary Missile Command. At its head shall be Marshal Krochenko, current head of the PVO. His brief will be the development and expansion of the force and the creation of a national command and warning chain for our nuclear forces.
We now stand at the threshold of a new path for our great nation. We shall stand equal among the other nation's in this world. We shall now be able to argue our quarter without fear of reprisal!!
