The Principality of Oddessa became the People's Republic of Oddessa today after a successful take over of power by Admiral Shmitz, after the loss of one submarine in the coastal waters of Isla de Penquinata. The former administration under the Principality has been detained after it was found that the president and other public officials took bribes from corporations inside the country. Trials are set for mid next year. All forces that are out on patrol around the world are currently being recalled.

The new administration is looking to open up diplomatic channels and work on Oddessa's economy and it's infant space program, which received little funding under the former administrations.

The People's Republic of New Scotistan welcomes this news. Our peaceful revolution of the people has led to some international tension, but we seek to reopen diplomatic relations with all the economic benefits associated with this process.
