The 5 guards of Cam III raised weapons against Keys, but 4 other guards ran in and tackled the loyal guards. Keyes ran from the room as the gaurds battled it out.

All around Cam III rebel groups of 10000+ were rising up against the loyalists, there were major clashes between these two forces all around the cites of Cam III.

"Mr. President we have just had a civil war in Cam III. Details are sketchy but from what we can find out it looks like some units of the armed forces and others are rebelling against the government after their deal with Sarzonia."

Commodore Ben Newman sighed. As the senior officer of the two remaining fleets that did not sail toward Sevaria, it was left to him to marshall what was left of the Sarzonian fleet [OOC: Which still numbers over 200 ships and includes the majority of the Trimarian vessels in Sarzonia's employ] and send help.

We are on the way.
With that, Newman sent a signal to the Department of Defense. A fleet [OOC: About 50 ships] escorting 75,000 troops and equipment also left for Newman's position. Twenty five thousand troops remained with Newman already.

"Looks like we may get a taste of ground combat after all," Newman said with a sigh.

General Cal Lindsey shook his head. His forces would be nowhere near enough to tackle a force loyal to Cam III, even with rebel forces buttressing them. He was going to have to buy some time, hopefully with some air strikes and naval bombardment from the battleships.

To all Sarzonian allies:
We will need help to ensure that Cam III's government stands trial for war crimes.

With that, Newman set his course and prayed that reinforcements would arrive in time.

"Looks like there trying to get round the deal sir."

On the Bambinio coast the Aust forces got the message to prepare for war. Cam had once again tried to trick Aust and he would pay. Already the first small squads of ASS where being sent out to prevoke Cam into a attack. They would destroy villages, take away the villagers as slaves and then, hopefully Cam would attack.

But mainly the raid where a cover to weaken the enermy while a full schale strike at his capital was aranged. The raid would mainly be targeted at any places of any enermy/reble activity.

"Mr. President I've got a message from Sarzonia."
Colin Wixted reads over the messages from Sarzonia. He was in a cabinet meeting. All his advisors were their.
"My god those sneaky bastards are trying to get around the treaty. President of the Senate?"

The joint session was called only 20 minutes later. After only an hour and 5 minutes of debating the Parliament came to a descision. With 64% approving the Parliament voted to help Sarzonia in helping Keyes and bringing the Cam III government to justice.

The entire 5th fleet is being dispatched. It is currently 150 miles from Sarzonian waters and will begin steaming with the Sarzonian fleet. It consists of:

OOC: Is this Keyes a rebel?

The first raids where met with little to no resistance. The ASS lost one man to a pitchfork weilding manic. Other than him the enermy had just tried to run and been captured. And now thosse same village where being marched into Aust. Some would be taken North, to the Slave markets of Aust city and others to other small towns and citys. All would be sold. And the raids continued.

The first Tank devision rumbled into town. It consists of:

OOC: Basicly, Keyes and the rebels are fighting to overthrow Cam III and they are willing to negotiate, Cam III is the one who is trying to remove the army and destroy Sarzonia. (The dictator) The outcome of this civil war is, hopefully, for Cam III to be put up for trial.

After a days fighting, the rebel forces had been pushed back into there base. By the coast Aust forces had stolen many men, women and children. The loyal army to Cam III has surronded the Baslica Dufoe (Place of Cam III), with Cam III hiding in it. They were not going to give up without a fight.

Soon after the two groups departed and went there seprete ways...

At 04:14 Morathanian B-52 bombers began taking off from McDonald Airforce Base outside Lawrence, Ruthenia. By 04:37 all the bombers and their fighter escorts had taken off. In all the flight group consisted of 25 B-52 Bombers, 60 F-15E Eagles and 10 F-16s they were all heading for Cam III. Their scheduled ETA is 23:56.

IC: A little info on the Dufoe:
The Place is surronded by AA guns, missile launchers, morters and 3-pronged laser weapons. All are made to take down air forces and some infantry. For tanks, the Royal Guard have anti-tank weaponery and anti-infantry weaponery.
The Palace itself is near impossible to breach, it has one door which is heavily guarded and the walls and roofs were built by 'The Ancients' the God's the populace worships. They are at least 4 meters thick and the entire Palace is covered with many EMPs which can be set off from within the Palace.
At the moment, the entire battle company of Cam III is protecting it, it contains about 5 million men, tanks, reserves and logistcs etc. It would be very hard for Sarzonia on his own to beat, but with a combined force it would be easier...

We are a squadron of the Morathanian 33rd Bomber group and the 77th
Fighter squadron. We are here on a mission to attack the capital. Although
do to new intel we are currently flying a circle around the attack area.
We are not here to attack you. We are here just to attack Cam III loyalist
military bases. Do you have any information on the location of a major
miltary installation about 125 miles south of the capital?

Commodore Newman awoke the next morning to a surprise. Admiral Marcus Patinkin was on the phone.

"Admiral! I thought you were over in Sevaris."

"We were ordered to withdraw."

"Why?"

"The suits over in Woodstock got nervous when Sevaris declared war..."

"That was pretty reckless of them, sir."

"That may be, but now we've abandoned an ally."

"They brought it upon themselves by ignoring their other allies."

"Let's have this discussion another time. What's the status report?"

"We've got 25,000 troops and equipment here with another 75,000 on the way. It's not going to be nearly enough to break the logjam at the palace and bring those bastards to justice."

"All I've got with me is 50,000 troops."

"I'll try to contact Woodstock for mo--"

Patinkin cut Newman off.

"And have them order us to back off this too?"

Just then, a lieutenant interrupted Newman.

"Commodore, I just got word from Woodstock that they're sending another two fleets. They've also got 250,000 troops on the way."

Meanwhile, Admiral Patinkin was also interrupted by another voice from the navy command in Nicksia.

"This is Navy Chief John Newman. You are under orders to secure Cam III and seize their leaders and support an apparent civil war over there. We're sending 250,000 troops as I've just informed Commodore Newman. Chief Newman out."

Patinkin was about to ask the Navy Chief why they were being given this new order instead of supporting an ally, but he didn't get that chance. Besides, this was their best chance for action in a while.

"Form a naval blockade," Patinkin ordered. Let's see if we can attack that palace with some tungsten rods."

"Aye sir," came the in-unison response from the bridge of the Vengeance. Commodore Newman's flagship, the Granzi, a sister ship of the Vengeance and the Valiant also swung into action.

Several ZaS27M fighters launched from both carriers to begin strafing runs. The Bastion-class battleships began to target their gigantic 20 inch guns at military targets throughout Cam III and the armies began to gird for a full-scale invasion.

"Admiral, request permission to contact Keyes," Newman asked.

"Who's," Patinkin began to ask before he recalled the intelligence briefing he received. "Permission granted. Hopefully, we'll be able to choke off the loyalists and force their government's hand."

Operation Unconditional Surrender was now fully underway.

The carriers, Reliant, Ark Royal, Invincible, and Commonwealth steamed toward Antarctica along with the entire fleet.
"Sir, we have radar and sonar contacts bearing 189. Look like Praetonian made,sir," said contacts officer Brady.
"It has to be the Sarzonians their the only ones who would have a fleet in this area," said Adm. Sorenson.
"Lt. Volcker."
"Yes sir," said the Communications Officer.
"Hail the vessels. Tell them that we are the Morathanian 3rd fleet en route to Cam III. Ask if their Sarzonian. I want to know bloody well whats in front of us."
"Of course, sir. I'll get right on that."
"You'd better."

rebel forces throughout Cam III, over.

Patinkin looked out at the bridge. Apparently this operation was one the suits in Woodstock found more palatable. He received the intel briefing on the situation in Sevaris and why Parliament balked at further action.

"Oh well," Patinkin said.

"Admiral," the radar officer said. "Picking up a fairly large fleet 37 degrees off the starboard bow. Distance, 600 kilometers and closing."

"Identification?"

"It's the Morathanians, sir."

"Admiral, we just received a communication from the Morathanian fleet. They're coming to rendevous with us and sail to Cam III."

"Splendid. Work out the details with their admirals and let's set up the meeting. Meanwhile, let's also coordinate with the troops so we can plan our invasion."

"Aye, sir."

Patinkin got up from the command chair and walked into the situation room. As the plans were beginning to take shape in the din in the bridge, he looked out at the tranquil setting of the ocean and saw his own ships of war that made that setting so deceptive.

"We just can't seem to get ourselves out of these wars," Patinkin said to himself. He turned on the communications device in the situation room and waited for the Morathanian admiral to contact him.

Hello Admiral thought you could use some help from a steady ally. From recon that I'm getting the country is highly guarded. Around the capital they have anti-air installations everywhere including anti-air lasers. Keyes is a useful ally but he is in hiding. I have a flight of B-52s over the area but they say that the anti-air coverage around Cam III military bases is substantial. They'll have to come back to base pretty soon. Morathanian High Command seems to think that we can bring this to a close if we can get a blockade up and running and if we attain air superiority. My aides and I think that the best way to bring Cam III down is through the use of first cruise missles against anti-air installations and then presicion strikes of key facilities. If that doesn't work then carpet bombing will force them out. I ahve 25,000 marines if you need them for a land invasion though I don't think that should be nescessary.

I agree that is a good first step to attacking the Cam III positions. In addition, I believe the folks in Woodstock wouldn't mind if I use tungsten rods to hammer their positions. The kinetic energy of the descent from space should take out pretty much anything, even a Doujin.

I'm ordering a squadron of cruise missile submarines to set up shop in range to give those positions a beating and they'll have SSN escort in case that bastard Cam III tries anything.

Hopefully, our attacks will soften their positions enough to make an invasion possible.

PWSS Tiberius - Somewhere on the coast of Cam III

The namesake of the Tiberius Class Submarines, built to fire cruise missiles at shore targets, silently broke water as it slid through the ocean only a few miles from Cam III.

We and our accompanying submarines are ready to launch a full shore strike
against fortified Cam III positions. Relay GPS co-ordinates and we can be

"I hope this asshole Patinkin knows what he's doing," said Adm. Sorenson at dinner in the ranking officers dining room. Around him were the heads of each area of the carrier along with the captain of the Kirov Class Cruiser Redonda and the captain of the Frigate Cascadia.
"Well if not then were screwed," said on of the Lts.
"No were not screwed its just new challenges," said the admiral.
"Well thank god nothing has happened so far. It seems rather uneventful," said Capt. Chensky of the Redonda.
"I have a feeling it wont be that way for long," said the Admiral.
"Well lets make a toast," said Sorenson, "to a success."
"To success," everone repeated.
"Lets eat."

250 miles away a small squadron of 5 ships, 2 Ticonderoga II Cruiser, 2 Kidd Class Destroyers and a Frigate, waited in the waters near Sarzonia. They were Morathanian but as part of the treaty they were their to inspect they had over of the ships to Sarzonia officers. The expected Cam III vessels came to the change over point. Their were 2 cruisers 3 Destroyers and 8 Frigates.
"They have a small striking force out their don't they," said one junior officer.
On the bridge of the Roger Hampton, one of the cruisers, the head of the operation, Capt. Billings, hailed the oncoming Cam III ships.
"Cam III ships off my port bow please acknowledge."
Their was no response.
"Cam III ships off my port bow this is the Morathanian cruiser Roger Hampton, please acknowledge."
Again their was nothing.
"Okay but the ships on alert. We may have a situation here."
Capt. Billings tried again.
"Cam III ships off my port bow this is..."
"Sir, 6 torpedos in the water bearing 275."
"Sir, I'm detecting multiple launches from all the ships."
"Alert, sound the Klaxons. This is Capt. Billings were being fired upon repeat this is not a drill. Repeat this is not a drill."
"Sir we have 5 launches from the 2 cruisers."
"Target"
"Us"
"Anti-missle systems."
A massive firing of guns and missles. Then a lound bang.
"Were hit were hit. Two harpoons got through."
"God damn it damage report."
"One hit the engines and the rudder another damaged the Harpoon missle system."
"Were dead in the water."

We are under attack from Cam III ships that were being decomissioned. We
are badly damaged. Battle still going on. Send reinforcement.


After an hour and a half battle the Cam III ships broke and ran. The damage was horrible. The Roger Hampton damaged severly. The other cruiser sunk. The two destroyers sunk. The frigate had managed to get through the fight only because it was at the bottom of the priority list. Two Cam III destroyers had been sunk and 4 Frigates. When reinforcements arrived the next morning they couldn't believe their eyes.

OOC: Of course I could say that it was a rogue admiral in the navy. Thats always possible but your right if he says yes thats fine otherwise I'll delete it.

Commodore Newman heard the Tiberius send its signal.

"Do you have the coordinates?" Newman asked his tactical officer.

"Aye sir." He handed the coordinates to Newman.

"Transmit the coordinates to the Tiberius on a coded channel."

"Aye, sir."

The Granzi's communications officer submitted the coordinates to the Tiberius.

"Get our sub fleet ready to launch its own strikes," Newman ordered.

Just then, a message came from Navy Chief John Newman with a set of instructions.

"Commodore, Chief Newman has just sent us instructions for using and firing the tungsten rods from our satellites."

Newman nodded. In a peaceful world, it would have been cause for celebration, but this was not the time for that.

"Target that palace with the rods. I want a heavy concentration of five rods on their defense systems."

"Sir! What if that kills Cam III?"

"I'd rather he be brought to justice, but if that's not possible, we'll have to live with the consequences. Target acquired?"

"GPS coordinates for the castle have been programmed and locked in."

"Fire!"

Five tungsten rods from an orbital satellite streaked through the stars, homing in on the castle at hypersonic speeds. Meanwhile, the cruise missile submarines also launched a stream of four missiles each and a total of 20 Sarzonian missiles streaked toward their targets deep in Cam III.

Admiral Grashal was aboard his flagship, the GN Valiant, having returned from the Daylami Conflict and sailing for home. At around noon, he had received a transmission from High Admiral Howard, reporting the commencement of a conference hosted by Doujin. Howard and most of Central Command would be attending, leaving Grashal the de-facto Commander of Operations. Word had come that a civil war in Cam III had erupted, just the chance for action he was hoping for. Now all he had was to wait.

His communications officer called him again. “Sir, it seems allied forces have begun strikes on the Loyalist forces of Cam III. A inbound transmission has been received.” He played the message for help from the rebels. “Sarzonia has dispatched several fleets to the area in assistance, and we have also tracked communications from the Morathanians as well. From their positions, we can most likely assume that they will form a combined front. What do you want us to do?”

Grashal rose. “Get the First Fleet. I hear that they are on maneuvers off the coast of Granzi, correct?” The Comm. Officer nodded. “Good, then tell them to set sail for Cam III immediately, and rendezvous with them at 0900 hours. Set sail at 29 knots.”

To all Allied Forces:

Subject: Possible Action

The 1st and 3rd Granzian Battlefleets are underway and sailing to aid the Cam III rebels. Please advise over best course of action.

"Sir, I think we've misread the situation in Cam III"

"Yes, it appears that while we thought that the whole country was breaking the treaty, it wqas only Cam III.."
"Isn't Cam III the country."
"No he's there leader. Anyway, only him and a few loyalists want to break the treaty. I think that our stratagy of attacking the villages and taking them as slaves was wrong. Where not against the country."
"So we return the villagers?"
"No they've already been sold. If you look at this map, sire. You see Cam III is holed up here in this fortress. It's pritty powerful. I balive sir that we should put out a call for all allied armys to join together, here." The general pointed again. "And once we have enough men then we shall shell the palace. After we have created breaches then we shall attack with tanks and infantry."
"Good plan."

The Autian forces began to move. So far only 10 legions and 5 tank devision (100,000 men and 500 tanks) had arrived but over 15 times that and seige weapons where on there way.

OOC: The decommisioned ships are under the loyalists control, NOT the rebels. They were on there way to attack the allied forces off the coast of Cam III. I'll Rp that attack now, BTW it will be the entire navy, 594 ships.

The members of the inner circle of Cam III (All the people in the Palace) all dived for cover. The Tugnsten rods hit the roof with great preassure, making the whole structure rumble. A small crack appered at the base of the building. (What are tugnsten rods? Can they be shot down?)

Well, the building survived that! get that crack.. He was interupeted by Johnson.

Incoming cruise missiles!

The 20 missiles hit the AA guns, AT guns and ALs, of the 46 at the start there were 43 (They have VERY good defences). None hit the palace.

From this point on the Praetonian submariners followed a well rehearsed routine. No one needed prompting and everything when smoothly. They had practised this literally hundred of times before.

There was what seemed like a very long wait in absolute silence. They had to wait for confirmationof impact before they could relocate to a safer position.

15 missile launchers raised from hatches in the ground and fired their deadly payload, 15 cruise missiles at the allied navy. No doubt some damage.

[OOC: Cam III, we've had the discussion about your using future tech weapons such as that space fleet. It will be ignored. Also, tungsten rods are rods fired from space that rely upon the speed of impact to cause damage. They can wreck about three feet of reinforced concrete or break a Trimarian hulled ship in half. I don't know if they can be shot down. If so, it'd be awfully hard since they're travelling at hypersonic speeds.]

"Sir! The Cam III fleet has just attacked the Morathanians!"

"Damn it! Looks like they're not leaving us any choice," Patinkin said.

Patinkin was getting angrier now. He figured Sarzo didn't have the stomach for a fight and just wanted to come to a peace accord to end the war. What he didn't know was that Sarzo was talked into peace by several allies. Sarzo wanted to put an end to Cam III before and little did Patinkin know, he was going to make that his goal now.

"Sir! The President is addressing the nation."

Patinkin rolled his eyes. He figured it would be another speech extolling the virtues of peaceful settlement of issues.

"Let's hear what the tree-hugging moron has to say. On speakers."

"My fellow Sarzonians, Cam III has violated the terms of the treaty that was supposed to end the war between our peoples. We reluctantly went to the negotiating table at the behest of several of our allies in the belief that facing impossible odds would force Cam III to ascede to our demands. It is plainly obvious that peace is no longer an option.

"It is obvious that our goal now is to ensure that Cam III can never be a threat to anyone. We must now ensure the unconditional surrender of Cam III and bring their leadership to justice or bring them their deaths."

Patinkin blinked. It was unlike Sarzo to sound like that. But the orders came rushing in from the Nicksia command to engage -- and destroy -- the Cam III fleet. The rail guns along the Sarzonian coast targeted the Trimarian hulled Cam III ships and Patinkin ordered the fleet to intercept Cam III's fleets at full speed.

Sarzo also called Patinkin.

"I want that sonofabitch Cam III dead. I don't care if it's after he's tried in court or if he's killed in battle. Just get rid of that bastard."

Sarzo also turned to Vice President for Defense Terrence Wilson and ordered the orbital tungsten rods to fire upon the Cam III fleet and upon the Cam III positions. Any Cam III ships in range of the rail guns also faced the fire from those guns.

A squadron of six Stortbek class SSKs set their sights for additional Cam III ships and readied torpedoes for firing.

"Contact the Praetonian command. I want to find out how to destroy that Trimarian fleet of Cam III's," Patinkin said.

Meanwhile, Commodore Newman noticed that Cam III's castle launched missiles toward the fleet.

"Fire anti-missile defenses and launch the missile decoys," Newman ordered. And ready evasive maneuvers!"

"Aye sir!"

The missile defense systems from the ships and the fighter escort knocked down 12 missiles, while two of them slammed into the decoys. However, the Bastion-class battleship Miatonomah took a shot amidships.

"Damage report," yelled Captain Travis Moraine.

"Sir, we've lost radar guidance and communications systems," came the reply from his second officer Lisa Grayson.

"Casualty reports coming in from all over the ship," chief medical officer Lenny Mason called. "We've got initial reports of 48 killed and 84 wounded."

"Could have been a lot worse," Moraine said. Moraine picked up his hand-held communications device and adjusted it to the Granzi's frequency.

"Commodore, this is Captain Moraine, we've taken a direct hit from the missile and we've lost communications and radar and we've got heavy casualties."

"Pull back and make repairs," Newman said."

"Aye sir," Moraine replied.

"All units, launch another round of missiles. Make it four per ship."

"Aye sir."

Approximately four hundred missiles screamed out of their launchers on the way toward the castle and the other assorted Cam III defenses.

OOC: My subs are fine as to my knowledge cruise missiles cannot hit targets underwater (at least not modern tech ones).

Colin Wixted had watched Sarzo's speach via CNN. He had to respond to Sarzo.
God damn it why did I ever tell him to get involved in this damn peace process. That bastard Cam III has made us all look like idiots. No one makes Morathania look like an idiot without getting so sort of payback. I have to do it.

"Mike loved the speech. I should have know these peace talks were a sham and a fraud. Well Mike I called to tell you Morathania will be behind you 110% we will give you whatever you need to defeat Cam III. Were going to make this bastard pay for all his crimes."



145 miles off Antarctica in international waters five Ohio class SSGNs silently moved through the water. As far as they knew they were they were the only ships in this area. The entire Antarctic Squadron of the Federation Naval Fleet Submarine Force was in the vicinity of Cam III. The Ohios were crucial to the fleets operations inside Cam III.

A message came over the priority line. Capt. McMicheals knew it was important. He knew it was his orders to fire.
"Com. Officer authenticate."
"Authenticate."
"I concure sir," said the officer of the watch.
"I concure, sir," said the XO.
"We have an authentic priority message from Federation Naval HQ," said the captain, "what have we got?"
"Firing solutions."
"25 Tomahawk Cruise Missles fired to multiple military targets inside Cam III."
"Well than lets get to it. When's the set time?"
"02:34, sir."
"Good. Maintain radio silence until the said time."

At 02:34 all the five Ohio class subs released their 25 Tomahawks at selected targets within Cam III. ETA to targets 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

"Sir, the Sarzonia's have fallen under attack, but due to countermeasures, we are certain only a few hit," reported the radar monitor. "This was in response to what we think was a projectile attack. Something really fast, most likely those "god-rods" Sarzonia launched from their orbital platform. I also detected a missile launch some distance away. Submarines possible, they might be Praetonia's, or Sarzonian."

Grashal stepped down from his chair. "Is that so." The admiral turned to the Communications Officer. "Dispatch a transmission to the submarines. Enquire to their nationality and motives. I'm not taking any chances. Warn them that no reply will be regarded as hostile and subject to attack. And keep sensors at high alert. Dismissed!"

He picked up the intercom. "This is Admiral Grashal. All men report to battlestations. I repeat, all men report to battlestations. Wait for further orders. That is all." The halls shown with red light as the sirens blazed on. The sailors aboard began conducting last-minute equipment checks and loading up the weaponry.

Grashal then down proceeded to fire control. "Get the missiles ready to launch. On my order, signal the fleet to fire. Use formation B9, and target this fortified 'castle.' Aim particularly for the SAM defenses and radar station, also any AA coverage they might have. Do it now."

"Coordinates recieved and locked on, admiral." said the operative.

"Good, fire at will!"

The missile bays flashed open and plumes of smoke belched from the open doors. In swift screeches, they darted away in swarms. Among the entire combined fleets, the same process was occuring. Trails of a thin smoke marked their path as the missiles flew toward their destinations. A few minutes later, a second wave was launched, followed by yet another. In total 5 waves of over a hundred missiles each streaked to Cam III.

"Firing sequence completed, sir."

"Good, now move the fleet closer to shore..."

At a Morathanian airbase outside of Lawrence 7 huge strange planes took off from the airbase and then flew into formation. They were a secret project that the Morathanian government had been funding. A few years ago a Morathanian aircraft compnay called MacMillan Aircraft bought the design for an aircraft that had been built in the late 60s during the height of the cold war. That aircraft has the XB-70 Valkyrie. A huge Mach 3 bomber that could carry 50,000 pounds of bombs and fly at 82,000 feet. Only one had ever been built. It had been lost in an aircrash in 1970. The Morathanian government had contracted MacMillan to make 10 of these aircraft and possibly more. By the time that the Cam III civil war had started though only 7 of these aircraft had been built. All 7 flew on this mission. Flying at Mach 3.08 over the Pacific Ocean they came on Cam III fast.
"Radio silence. Everone have their targets."
A barrage of yes sirs came over the radio. The XB-70s came into their bombing run going Mach 3 at 81,558 feet. They began their run.

OOC: If not GODMODing this was a real aircraft that was developed by the United States during the 60s. Only one was built. It is basically a bomber version of the SR-71 although they look different their stats are almost the same except the XB-70 is longer.

The many missiles (from all nations) slammed into the ground, AA, AGT guns and the palace. By the end of the bombardment, there were only 19 guns left, 14 missile launchers and the army had fled, but were returning. More cracks were appering in the palace.

The bombers encountered heavy flak, but unlukly none were shot down... There payload hit the capital with great force. Many buildings were destroyed, including miliatery instalations and many populated areas of the capital. Early casutalty reporst say at least 1000 are dead.

The palace was hit by one stray bomb and it impacted into the roof with so much force it broke the roof in (Not only that bomb but all the missiles contributed).

The old platform creaked into life and moved from its position above the Pacific Ocean and moved into Preatonian land. After 35 minutes it had reached its destination.

The hatches opened and the first 10 EarthShakers. They are nuclear missiles which can cause Earthquakes if there are more than 5 preasent. These ones will cause about a richter scale 8.5 one. They are also very hard to shoot down. The missiles slammed into the ground with only one being destroyed. They will cause major damage aswell.

The AA guns on the surface managed to hit 4 more while they were dropping bombs. The planes then rturned to Cam III, knowing that a job was well done. The retaliation was envitable...

Wow, I haven't been paying attention to this. I'd forgotten about what I was planning til I saw Sarzonia mention Cam III in another thread...fifteen minutes or so later, I finally logged in as West Scotland.

Cam III, nuclear wars make the most horrible roleplays. You ought to know that.

The massive West Scotland fleet, replenished and extended, entered effective combat zone to begin operations agains the nation of Cam III. Four Doujin-built carriers and a Raysian floating airstrip formed the center of the mighty fleet, which was flanked and supported by an astonishing plethora of other ships. It was a force to be reckoned with.

Then, without warning, simultaneously voices blared out from the loudspeakers on the carriers and airstrip - "COMMENCE THE ATTACKS."

Slowly but surely, the array of aircraft lined up on the decks began to take off; some speeding down the runway and rising into the air; others vertically floating upwards and then streaking away. Everything was in place, and the West Scotland war had begun.

[Defense Department]

Briefings were delivered to the Defense Secretary at lightning pace as he was quickly briefed on the happenings of the Cam III war. He quickly gave out the orders to confirm the Joint Chiefs' request, and West Scotland's satellite and networks sprang into action.

Rising out from seemingly nowhere, missile arrays rose up from the ground, their nearby satellite receivers spinning, whirling, and relaying the necessary information. They had to act quickly.

Across the country, these anti-ballistic missile missiles launched in rapid succession, with well over 200 missiles aimed at all the tracked Cam III - launched nuclear weapons.

This would not do, though. A multitude of ABM satellites turned and fired at the ICBMs as they entered suborbital space, with the redundancy required in situations like these.

Finally, the Defense Secretary relayed the final command. "So, you dare to defy us," he sneered to Cam III, despite the lack of his presence in the vicinity. "Fire the rods of God!"

Several satellites wheeled around in orbit as they received their orders and the coordinates. The devastating Rods of God were aimed at ICBM launchers, military radar installations, military command and communications centers, and the presidential palace's smoldering ruins. A single rod was fired at each missile launcher and radar installation, and five at the bunker lying below the palace. The hypersonic death rods sped down towards Cam III and slammed into their targets at devastating speeds...

"Wipe out their defenses," the defense secretary snarled. "Now they shall feel the wrath of West Scotland!"

Fourteen brand-new SC-240 Mark IA upgrades took off from the runways of West Scotland and sped into the air, breaking the Mach barrier and speeding towards their fire-off point. Each was loaded with a hundred and twenty four air-launched cruise missiles and targeted at Cam's anti-ballistic-missile defenses, SAM sites, security bunkers, and other possible defenses, with a good deal of redundancy.

Squadrons of aircraft climbed to fifty-thousand-feet-plus heights into the air for the last leg of the lightning operations that began the West Scotland entrance. These were aircraft from West Scotland's homeland, and they were armed with advanced WS-186 ASAT missiles to take out Cam III's similar tungsten rod systems and other threatening satellites.

Another aide presented the defense secretary with the latest report. The West Scotland aircraft squadrons were approaching Cam III shores...

I'm sorry, you don't fly 29 bombers into someone's capitol and expect 19 to fly out alive...this isn't World War II anymore. You fly in 29 bombers, you come out with zero.

The government members retreated back to the bunkers where they had been hiding until the war was supposed to be over. The missile defense systems all over Sarzonia lurched into action and fired their anti-missile platforms.

"Sir, they've just launched a payload at Praetonia!"

"They've forced our hands now. I really didn't want to do this, but it's time to rid the world of Cam III as a threat. Order the allied fleets surrounding Cam III to leave the area and order a full scale nuclear retaliation."

"Sir!"

"You heard me, dammit," Sarzo snapped. "We have tried this via conventional means. We've tried negotiating. They have made their decision and now it's time for us to respond. Get me on worldwide television."

"Attention citizens of the world. Today, the Cam III government launched another attempted nuclear strike against the Incorporated States of Sarzonia. It is their second attempted strike and the first since the war with Cam III was supposed to be over and a treaty of peace had been agreed to. However, the government of Cam III has violated the terms of that treaty of peace and have returned to the battlefields.

"We do not take the use of nuclear weapons lightly and we have tried to avoid using them at all cost. However, Cam III leaves us no further options. It is our intent now to permanently remove Cam III as a threat."

"Launch the nuclear strikes."

"Aye sir," Vice President for Defense Terrence Wilson replied bleakly. He pushed the set of commands and ICBMs from silos all over Sarzonia and from SSBNs in range of Cam III launched their payloads. Approximately 100 ICBMs launched from various platforms throughout the world at Cam III.

"They have just signed their death warrant," Sarzo said with a grimace. "Things would have been much simpler had they simply accepted our terms the first time."

OOC: Thanks for your horrible roleplay. You made the attack happen so fast I couldn't even respond to your RP myself ie I could give defense statistics or conduct defensive operation myself. You really do suck at roleplaying. Well okay you asked for it.

IC: With the Morathanian capital in ruin and many thousands dieing Colin Wixted faced a tough descision.
"Those bastards thank god we had enough early warning to get most of our esscential perssonel out of the capital and evacuate as many people as possible," said the President.
"We need to retaliate with nuclear weapons. The entire arsenal all direcrted at Cam III," said defense minister Edwards.
"But wont we kill Keyes and the rebels too?," asked George Phillips via teleconference.
"I don't really care if we kill Keyes and all those other rebel bastards. They should have helped us more and made sure we didn't get attacked," said the President, "I'm using my supreme command authority to fire 5500 nuclear warhead equiped ICBMs at Cam III from land bases and from Ohio and Typhoon class submarines. I will also approve the dropping of Nuclear bombs on Cam III from bombers. That is all gentlemen."

Three hours later.
"The entire network has permission to fire at 04:58."
"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Commence missile launch commense missile launch."
All across Morathania nuclear missiles launched. Out at sea Typhoon and Ohio class SSBNs fired all their nuclear armaments at Cam III.

"Dear god I wish it hadn't come to this but it was the only way to show them."

OOC: Damn I forgot about you, meh, might aswell as fight. And anyway, I have some twists in the RP.
IC: The missiles and rods of gods hit the palace and defensive instilations around the country. One Rod of God hit the rebels main base, their head of operations. before Keyes and other people could take cover the Rod smashed into the base and caused major damage and expolisions rocked the building. Keyes was working on a electronic map of Cam III when a huge bit of rubble came smashing down on him, killing him instantly. The other weapons wiped out most of the instalations and redars, although a missile base escaped bombing. This was a lucky escape as this base was to launch the attack on suspected rebel towns.

The base had then got their orders soon after. They fired out about 12 missiles at suspected towns around the nation (even though 3/4 of my population is on Prospero, I have most economy workers on Earth). The missiles, after 20 minutes, hit the towns. Most of the rebel factions had been destroyed, only 452 rebels remained of the 1037...

OOC: No, it is not another weapon, I have almost none left. It is a big throne which can sustan a persons life if they are nere death or are seriously injured. And you would not know about this, and it is also on Prospero. Do any of you have space technolgy?

All West Scotland aircraft immediately aborted and flew back to their fleets, which were still mile away and turning back anyways, in light of nuclear retaliation.

However, we ask that Sarzonia and Moranthania reconsider, as this will wipe out the rebels in Cam III as well as the the nation himself, and will tone down the quality of the roleplay [ooc.]

West Scotland will engage in the shooting down of allied ballistic missiles aimed at portions of the country or the vicinity where Aust troops (I think?) are...

Cam, I wasn't targetting the rebels; it's kind of hard for a tungsten rod to slip so far off course when it hits the earth in seconds...

OOC: West Scotland: The rebels as far as I can tell are not giving allied forces any help. Aust pulled its troops out of Cam III after it had finally figured out the situation. As for the use of nuclear weapons I think and to my knowledge Sarzonia feels the same way that we must retaliate against the use of various WMDs on our countries and although nuclear weapons are a last resort it is the only way to combat Cam III. He has signed his death wish when he used WMDs against the peoples of Sarzonia, Morathania and Praetonia. As for the degrading of the RP well thats a price we'll have to pay. Do not shoot down any missiles. We would think that as an ally you would be able to see that this is the only way to respond to Cam IIIs heinous attacks and I'm sure that if your nation had been attacked you would have taken the same action.

If no nukes hit, we wouldn't really have had grounds for launching retaliatory nukes. Even if they did hit...you guys decide your losses though, did you accept the nuclear attack?

I'd still prefer a massive conventional strike even if nukes hit, nuclear weapons use doesn't seem...ethical, no matter what, because they kill civilians for the mistake of a single madman. However, it's really your call and I won't interfere.

Earlier today Cam III launched a full scale nuclear attack on Praetonia. Two conventional ICBMs impacted on Praeton, killing 214 people and injuring 2,382 more. One nuclear missile impacted on the Navum Prima military base, killing all 22,000 soliders stationed there. One nuclear missile hit the city of Praefele, killing 628,119 inhabitants (99%). One nuclear missile hit the cit of Proxima Imperialis killing 1,923,057 inhabitants (98%). A full scale nuclear retaliation has been launched. Cam III's casualties are as yet unconfirmed. All 600 warships of the Imperial Fleets are moving to blockade and bombard Cam III. The government has issued a statement declaring their intention to completely destroy the state of Cam III.

OOC: He isn't dropping tungsten rods, he's firing missiles from satellites. Plus they miss because I scrambled his satellite's systems (actually missing is the only possible problem with tungsten rods as you can really intercept them).

Sarzo was a simmering stew of anger against Cam III and grief over the losses in Townshend, Hamilton, Praefele and Proxima Imperialis. But anyone who looked closely at him could see that rage was beginning to overtake him. Senior Vice President for Internal Affairs Nicole Lewis walked over to him, ready to relieve him of duty if he couldn't think more clearly.

Nevertheless, West Scotland's policy of returning fire after a successful nuclear strike is still composed primarily of the double-pronged attack of the tungsten rods and tens of thousands of cruise missiles launched every which way.

However, in the case of this situation, we will not contribute further as we feel the current destruction is ample.

Aboard the PWS Tiberius

Sir, satellites spot a transport leaving Cam III near the place, we are ordered to engage.

The Tiberius and her four sister subs shot upwards to the surface, pushing water aside as they went. The sub was shaking as it hit the surface.

OPEN FIRE!

The five submarines emptied their anti-air batteries into the planes, a total of 160 RAMjet missiles streaking towards the Cam III transports. Surely nothing could survive that...

IC: The Cites around the Earth base had been completly destroyed. The place was devistation. There were no humans left alive there, the bombing had also caused major Earth quakes and volcanic action, causing yet more damage to surronding areas.

OFFICIAL DAMAGE REPORT FEDERATION OF MORATHANIA:
Most of the missles that hit were duds and conventional weapons out of the 50 missiles fired at Morathania only 12 were actual WMDs. A majority of those, 9, were targeted at Morathanian military installations and naval depots. Moderate damage, moderate loss of life. Their was enough time to prepare the troops with full protection gear. Of the 3 that were aimed at civilian targets 1 landed 85 miles south of Johnstown after sustaining heavy damage from an anti-missile SAM. The 2 that landed on target one was aimed at the town of Corozol in the South and one in the Morathanian capital. Hamilton is 25% destroyed. Early evacuation and containment of the Mustard gas my speciality teams kept loss of life to a minimum. Only 7500 perished in Hamilton. It was much the same in Corozol since local HAZMAT teams worked with the military to contain the spread of the gas. 12,000 died in Corozol with 40% damaged. All in all for clean up and rebuilding the total cost will be somewhere near 37 billion USD or 45 billion Morathanian Dollars. Total loss of life was 55,000 in both conventional and gas attacks.

Cam, everything else about you appeared modern and the allies involved in this affair (Sarzonia, Praetonia) are modern...

OOC: Preatonia, there space transports, more powerful than normal ones. NOT planes. And I ignored him because he cannot shoot down more than 200 missiles, some from space as well.

I would love to see how fearless they are then and if they would want to endanger themselves, their country and their world by using WMDs. I wish people would be more realistic when they are doing a war. Think like you were the leader of a real country. Think that what your doing will have an actual affect on the people who trust you as their leader and then you will be able to make good descisions for your nation.

OOC: Yes its over. Well Cam III decided to lob some WMDs at Morathania, Praetonia and Sarzonia. So Sarzonia, Praetonia and Morathania retaliated with a nuclear strike against Cam III.

Yeah I read the entire post. It sure grew. Granzian forces will be withdrwing, happy that we didn't suffer any casualties, save one. An engineer was injured accidentally when he fell from a high deck during the missile launch.
