OOC: Alright here is my second attempt at elections, hopefully this one will better then my last one. EH

The young woman fussed with her hair before smiling and turning to the camera and saying, a little to happily for reality "Well hello there Maransune!! and welcome to channel 77's special coverage for the first free elections in 6 months, to insure a fair election Hutuian troops will be overseeing everything" (at this point the camera turns to bunch of Hutuian troops) "now the current runners and their parties and platforms are:

Itsa Masada of the People's Party. Masada promises a return to commuism as seen by Isiko Tatamori and drastic reforms to all aspects of Maransune.

Takara Hiramashi of the Democratic Party. Hiramashi promises the refromation of old Republic of Maransune from before Tatamori. He promises drastic economic reforms and incresed military spending.

Shindo Shima of the Nationalist Party. Shima promises to create to new Maransune based on his own personal vision of the way the things should be. He like Masada promises reforms to all aspects of Maransune.


The elections will end in two weeks (OOC: Friday)" then woman stopped and took a deep breath before contining "After the elections the Empress will give her blessing to the new Prime Minister, who spend the next week forming a stable goverment".

Message from Premier Kolyenyakh to Maransune

Had this been a normal circumstance the Hutuian government would fully endorse a fellow Communist party. However, we all know this is not a normal situation, so due to our stance as a peace keeper during this election, we will not be endorsing any canidate.

Tenarius fully endorses the Democratic Party. Even if they do not win, we give our blessings to the people of Maransune, hoping that they will live a peaceful and free life.

"Greetings Maransune!!" it was the perky young woman again..... eh . "And here is the current election results so far.... Hiramashi and the Democratic Party currenty have 47.06% of the vote and are in the lead over the other two parties with the People's Party pulling up into second place with 35.29% with the Nationalist Party trailing behind with 17.65%. National political expert He Fung and his colleuges predict that the Democratic Party will probably leave the other two in the dust. Now in other news......."

OOC: Sorry for not posting, I had a one after one after one hard drawing for biology after another. IT IS NOT FFFUUUNNN!!!! (sorry). And looks like the same problem as time as happened, a tie, EH

"Hello once again Maransune, at the conclusion of the our general elections" [i] good will you go away now? [i] "In a unexpected turn of events the Democratic and People's parties have tied. In such sitution the constitution says to leave the tie breaker to the Imperial cabinet, which has already been done, in just a moment we shall go to the Palace steps to hear the the head of the cabinet, Bai Ts'ung, deliever the message on the vote" (the camera now goes black then a picture this time showing the Palace steps were a young man is giving a speech) "People of Maransune the Imperial cabinet has made thier decesion and the new Prime Minister is now Takara Hiramashi of the Democratic Party!" Bai Ts'ung tries to say more but is drowned out by the Democratic Party supporters. "That's right folks Takara Hiramashi is the new Prime Minister of Maransune, though in accrodence with the consitiution the People's Party is allowed majority leadership in the Imperial Parliamint. Empress Asuiko will give her blessing to Prime Minister-elect Hiramashi tomarrow eving (OOC: RL tomarrow), thank you for listening and good night."
