His Majesty has recently rewcieved several notices from other nations urging moderation. Having read them, he has acknowleeged that his allegation that the the government of the Incorporated States of SeaLion was involved in the assassination of His Late Royal Highness was unfounded. Consquently, his declaration of war has been reversed. He does not, however, reverse his allegation that the assassin came from the Incorporated States
Our sincere thanks are due to those who pledged aid, and to those who urged diplomacy instead of war. It is to their credit.
However, for the time being, all diplomatic relations with the Incorporated States have been suspended.
